Quickly following with his attacks, Lee didn't give Gaara time to fall down and appeared behind him

"Reverse lotus" Lee screamed as he hit Gaara on the ground with all his might

Different from the normal Gaara, Kaede didn't have any sort of auto defensive sand, and since the hit wasn't going to be lethal or even dangerous to her [Great sage] didn't use her skills to minimize the impact

'Holy... that actually hurt! those gates sure are no joke huh? too bad a slime can't use them, but whatever...

I need to impersonate Gaara, and right now he would be mad, wouldn't he? well... there it goes...'

Lee jumped back from the crater he created, one hand in front of his body and the other folded behind his back, ready for any possible counterattack

"...That hurt" Gaara said as he stood up, sand falling from his hair, and a trail of blood falling from the left of his head

Lee frowned, he didn't hit Gaara's head as that could lead to some bad damage

"...playtime is over" Gaara then moved his hands, making the sand all around the arena circle around them, like a-

"Sandstorm"

Uh... thanks Gaara for describing it for me...

Anyway, the sandstorm raged in a very fast manner, no one could see it, but sand weapons started to form in the sand

Lee hit some sand constructs and tried to close his distance with Gaara, but he couldn't

Inside the sandstorm, [Shukaku] shone brightly! the vision obstruction from the outside actually made it easy for Gaara to use some risky moves

"Sand prison" Gaara said as the sand stopped attacking Lee and made a barrier of sand around them

Flickering behind Lee with his full speed this time, Gaara punched with all his might

Inside a dome of sand, full of shadows Kaede had total advantage over Lee, immobilizing Lee by his shadow

"Game over" Gaara punched with all his might, infusing the punch with a big amount of chakra, hitting Lee in the liver, making him scream in pain

'That will take care of him, but no cripple him... that is the best I can do for you youthfool kid' Kaede thought as she made a pun with her mind

The sand barrier started to dissolve as everyone could see Lee crouching down in pain and Gaara with a sand claw on his neck

The proctor acted quickly and announced Gaara as the winner

The fighters were given 30 minutes to rest before they fought again, tough asides from Naruto who got thrashed by Neji, no one really needed it, but whatever... also, Naruto was almost completely healed by the time Gaara's fight ended, Uzumaki jinchurikki is very OP

Gaara was moving through a unused part of the stadium as he waited for the time to pass

"Gaara, you made me really proud there..." Orochimaru, impersonating the Kazekage said

"Snake, didn't I say that you should wait? we are almost there, so make sure to not fail doing your part of the plan" Gaara said as he turned to Orochimaru, Sharingan active on his right eye

Orochimaru stopped talking and stared intensely at 'Gaara'

"Kufufufu, you really surprised me there Uchiha Kaede, but how can you use Gaara's abilities when impersonating him?" Orochimaru laughed and asked, suddenly finding Kaede way more intriguing than before

'Maybe I should capture her as well, it can't hurt to have some more test experiments anyway, can it? Kukukuku...' As Orochimaru was making his internal monologue, Gaara dissipated into sand, vanishing completely

Revealing her disguise to Orochimaru wasn't as risky as it seemed, Kaede has long decided that someone like Orochimaru shouldn't be trusted and liked her chances of escaping better when she knew he would only attack her AFTER the invasion, as her strength would be drained by then...

Heh, that is a stupid thought, with infinite stamina because of the slime physical traits and bijuu chakra levels, Kaede could only be caught if someone knew her skills beforehand

That and Orochimaru was going to lose his arms, she was 100% sure he couldn't do a thing to her

'Now, now... Naruto and Sasuke, what should I do about you two?...

I have an idea, I will need to talk to the 'kages' for it though, but with a bit of bs should be enough for it to be allowed, *giggle*

Oh you two poor kids...' Kaede thought as she made her way towards the kage's seats, her Gaara clone in toll

"So, you are asking for a 2 vs 2 fight?" Hiruzen asked as he looked at Kaede and Gaara surprised

'Even from here, he doesn't look like a clone... maybe she is controlling him with the sharingan? kufufu I can't wait to have those eyes... Kuehehehe'

Orochimaru agreed and lost himself in his fantasies about Itac-*cough* about owning a sharingan himself...

"Well... since Kazekage-dono agreed, I can't say no now can I?" Hiruzen asked rhetorically, forgetting that he could indeed say no, as they are in konoha and not suna

"Thank you hokage-sama" Kaede bowed as she thanked, while Gaara didn't even answer

Hiruzen had one jonin announce that the next fight would be special, a 2 vs 2 between Gaara and Kaede vs Naruto and Sasuke

he also thought that Kaede's suggestion was good since teamwork, even on just made teams should always be important, and using that to evaluate chunnins was a good idea

""What!"" only two people complained about that decision

"I have to fight with this Idiot??"

"I have to fight with that Prick??"

Sasuke and Naruto complained, both didn't want to be fighting side by side, seeing this Hiruzen decided that it would teach them more if they fought side by side unwillingly than letting them change teams

30 minutes later, Gaara and Kaede were standing side by side, almost 50 meters away from Naruto and Sasuke, this fight... was going to be epic
