On Towel.

The door clicked lock and Yeong Ja turned back to Dal Chan who was already making his way up to her room. Dal Chan knew that he isn't allowed to move but he didn't like the idea of burdening Ja with all of his problems.

Ja was shocked as she stood by the door staring at the man who was climbing up the stairs, she just read his mind about him not liking the idea of burdening her with his problems, "is that some kind of magic or what?" Ja wondered. Being able to read mind isn't something rare or is it? Her thoughts went wild and she tug hardly on her hair.

Sitting down opposite Dal Chan who was drinking a hot chicken soup and watching him was really a weird thing to do. But Yeong Ja had to do it so that he wouldn't throw it away and make up some lame excuse why he threw it away.

Not that she wasn't a great cook, but actually Dal Chan had lost his appetite to eat after staying 2 days in Scarlet Hill. That was the diet the doctor had placed him on until he finally recovers because, eating any other junk food might slow down his healing process so Ja had to make sure he had his breakfast, lunch and dinner on time and also stay by his

side just in case he decides to throw it away she would be able to stop him.

After he was done eating, he raised his hands up as Ja inspected his plate to make sure he had actually finished it or he hid an extra plate to transfer the food to it. This man can do anything, sigh.

Her shoulders dropped as if a weight has been lifted off her and quickly she took the plate off into the kitchen. Coming back into the living room, she halted in her tracks as she saw Dal Chan. She looked at the gorgeous figure sitting quietly on the sofa like an olden day cold prince from the medieval era. And she couldn't help but feel enticed. He was sitting there without moving, as if he was an obedient mannequin who would only make a move once ordered. Somehow, watching him made her tensed nerves relax. She even imagined him as a harmless gumball as she approached him. Looking at his bored expression she couldn't help but wonder if being bored was actually his thing or was it just her prying? The next minute he moved. His hand folded as he rested his chin to his knuckles as he stayed completely still again. But still yet, she couldn't underestimate this man, who knows the number of things he's thinking about right now. He might be formulating a big plan or making arrangements for the schedules he have missed those 2 long days in Country Viscarious.

"Get me some black coffee Ja" Dal Chan's voice demanded interrupting her thoughts and she simply nodded as she added.

"I will be going for a shower after this. Just don't go anywhere ok."

Reminded of how silent he normally stays, she left immediately to avoid more embarrassment.

Boiling the water, she stood thinking, "what in heavens name is that cold man thinking about?" She asked as her eyes fell on the boiling water steaming out hot vapor. She sighs and turned out the gas. She poured in a sachet of black coffee into the hot water and mixed thoroughly. She carefully poured it into a glass, lowered the glass onto a tray and dropping a jar of sugar and that of milk so that he would mix them the way he wanted it.

Dropping the tray on the table she looked around and saw Dal Chan standing by the bookshelf, he was ransacking the shelf for something which she didn't care for at the moment.

"Dal, your coffee's on the table" She said as she turned to leave. But suddenly hearing a "mm" from him gladens her heart because, she had not expected him to say anything but just that "mm" alone was enough to send her to the third sky if there was any.

She got to the bathroom and tied a towel. She loosened her hair which scattered behind her, she was about soaking her hair with water when suddenly she remembered she kept a short book on that shelf Dal Chan was ransacking, not only that. She even wrote her feelings in that book and how she had carelessly fallen in love with Dal Chan after she had sworn never to.

As quick as lightening she hurried downstairs, still on her white towel. She paused at the foot of the stairs as she noticed Dal Chan about to reach the book. Her speed fuelled again and she snatched the book from Dal Chan's grasp and Dal Chan's eyes widened, his brain kept screaming "WHAT!!!! a million times. He watched her as he couldn't tell again what the hell he was feeling anyone. Yeong Ja's long hair was scattered on her bare shoulders, which looked soft and white as Jade. Her long exposed legs were slender and smooth. She was absolutely that type of lady who was more that worthy to grace the cover of famous magazines.

She had always been stunning in Dal Chan's eyes but seeing her like this was too much for him so he couldn't even react.
