Waking up

Akki had lost his consciousness in the last explosion. After he woke up, the first thought he had on his mind was whether Aisha survived or not. As he recalled Aisha had blown up the smartphone that she was inhabiting, tears were flowing through his eyes. Although he hadn't known her for a long time, without her he wouldn't be here. He started hating himself for not being physically fit enough. If had a body of an athlete, he could have crossed that final distance and the sacrifice wouldn't be needed. He put blood on his forehead and made a vow - to become powerful enough that he wouldn't need protection.

After some time he started to observe his surroundings. He was in a village hospital. After the commotion they caused, the police must have observed and rescued him. Observing that he woke up, the nurse went to inform the people outside. Soon 2 men entered the room. One was a policeman and the other was his father. Seeing his son in this tattered state he almost couldn't control himself. "Son, you have been through too much. Don't worry, you are safe now" he said patting Akki's shoulders.

The policeman was considerate enough not to interrupt the reunion. To be honest, he was impressed by this kid in front of him. Not many people could say that they have survived a lion attack. And shockingly, the lion was in worse shape than him. But questioning Akki was his job and he wouldn't compromise on it regardless of how impressed he was. "Akki, right. I want to hear your story. Don't be worried about anything. Just straight up tell me what happened."

"I was coming home via train. I got bored and went near the door. Then by accident, I fell out of the train into a river. Then tried crossing the forest to a human settlement. But on the way, I attracted the attention of that lion. Somehow I survived, but my smartphone got destroyed in the process." Akki started crying again. They said that men don't cry, but grief overwhelmed him. Akki's father, Ujar was terrified when he heard of the hardships that his precious, sheltered boy had gone through. He also mistakenly believed that Akki was crying because he was afraid of what he went through.

"Akki pull yourself together. You are a man. And why are you so upset about a smartphone? Don't worry, I will buy you a new one." Ujar comforted. 'But there is no other Aisha' Akki thought but smartly kept his mouth shut on this matter. He understood that some things had to be kept secret from everyone. He had widened his horizons and shed his childish immaturity.

The policeman went away after he collected the requisite information. "Don't tell these things in detail to your mother. She will get worried. You haven't forgotten how she cried when you were leaving home for the first time, did you" Ujar advised. "Don't worry father, I will get stronger. You won't ever have to worry about anything again." Akki said.

"Sigh, you kids, even if you grow into adults, parents can't stop worrying about you." Ujar was happy to see the mature side of his cute little son. "I guess it is time to pass this to you" Ujar took off a necklace he was wearing. "This thing has been in our family for many generations. It is believed to bring good luck to the wearer. Now it is time that I pass it on to you." Akki was flustered "Dad, I don't need it. If it keeps good luck, please keep it for yourself". But Ujar was determined. If he had done this earlier, perhaps, his son wouldn't be in this situation. Every parent wants the best for their child. He was already old now, what did he need good luck for? "Akki, I know you are a man of science and don't believe stuff like destiny. But please wear it and never take it off. For my sake." Akki reluctantly put it on.

Seeing that Akki was getting tired, Ujar left the room. Akki drifted into sleep with his bloody hand holding the necklace. "Descendant analysis complete. Space attribute in the body detected. Relaying message." A heroic youth suddenly appeared in Akki's dreams. "After an epic war with the space god, I defeated him. As compensation for letting him live, he offered up his understanding and powers of space. I condensed them into this necklace and passed it down to my descendants." The stopped for a brief moment seemingly in deep contemplation.

"To avoid my descendants mistaking this necklace for a worthless item and throwing it away, I have tinkered with it a little. It should now slightly increase the luck of the wearer. Of course, I could make it that it could dramatically increase the luck of the wearer. But then it would increase its value too much. Powerful people would covet it, bringing risks to my descendants. Anyway, the way to use the ring is this, charge it with solar energy. The more energy, it gets, the more uses you can get out of it. The best way to do it would be to directly stay inside a star for as long as you can.

One last thing before I end this message. This necklace is ultimately an external object. It couldn't be compared to the real power of the self. Although it is currently bonded to you, people might take it from you if they are powerful and resourceful enough. Therefore I have arranged a system that will gradually instill the understanding of space attribute inside you. After you have explored the powers of the necklace, don't use its power to do your bidding. Use the powers of space using your own body and you will slowly but surely become powerful. I have bestowed this gift upon you. Please don't bring dishonor to my name" After this message, the silhouette gradually disappeared.

Akki's brain went into overdrive analyzing this huge amount of information!
