Chase

Aisha started giving directions to Akki while running. Using a zig-zag pattern, he was advancing faster than the lion. Aisha used the speaker of the phone to emit ultrasonic waves and receive them using the microphone. Thus using a bat-like sonar system, Aisha was able to detect obstacles in the path faster than the naked eye could detect them. Thus Akki circumvented the obstacles, while the lion didn't. Although the lion was still closing in on Akki, its speed was slower than before.

But the human body still has its limits. Even more so the obese and unhealthy body of Akki. He was panting and sweating profusely. "Just a little bit more. I have detected a police station just 100 meters from here. Please hang on" said Aisha. "Ok", said Akki with a newfound enthusiasm. He stepped up his speed drastically.

Boom!  A rock came in the way and he fell down. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but in this situation, every second was precious. The lion also stepped up his speed and was just behind him. The lion roared loudly and pounced. After landing it gripped the human's leg tightly to not let it get away. 'Oh my God! I am finished' Akki thought.

Aisha was calculating various possibilities to get out of this situation. She was blaring ultrasonic soundwaves which were particularly to cats. This has some impact on the lion as it was getting disoriented. But it wasn't enough to make it back off. Aisha was also particularly distressed. She had found a good-natured native in this planet and planned to spent time with him, exploring the civilization. But as luck would have it, they entered into a difficult situation soon. Although she wasn't in a particularly difficult situation as the lion wouldn't have any interest in non-living things like a smartphone, she couldn't just let Akki die. 'I must save him, even if it means doing that' she thought.

Akki was howling in pain as the teeth of the lion sunk into his legs. He regretted not spending more time at the gym and his sedentary lifestyle. But it was too late for regrets now. He could die anytime soon. Aisha's voice suddenly rang in his ears "At my signal, throw this smartphone into the lion's mouth "But what about you?" Akki screamed. "I will not disappear" she assured. So at an opportune moment, he threw it into the lion's mouth.
