Chapter 7

Raphael's POV

HE REMEMBERED, I don't know how but he remembered my favorite ice cream flavor, its been long and yet he remembered, this means I haven't lost him, I can still get my Austin back and now that I know there's a chance, I'll do anything to get him back before its too late.

Austin's POV

Its 12am and I have school yet I can't sleep, I can't help thinking of Raphael, it might sound silly but I wish that was a date between us, then I thought back to how I interrupted him earlier, that was weird and I don't know where it came from. But he was nice enough to go along with it. Well at least i'll see him again tomorrow and with that thought in mind, i slept off smilling.

Emily's POV

I got home to meet my dad's dissapointed look, "hello" I sarcastically greet him not caring for a reply. "Stop there young lady, I won't let you disrespect me under my own roof", he fired at me and i wasn't in the mood to argue with him. "What's this about" I asked playing dumb and that seemed to piss him off, "you kniw very well what this is about so stop beating around the bush, if you don't get rid of that... Thing, it will spell doom for our family and the world as we know it". "Will you stop being dramatic? I don't care what you say or think I'm not getting rid of him no matter what ". "But this is our future, your future we are talking about, why won't you listen? Your just as stubborn as your mom, but she was more reasonable than you, i wish she were here to talk sense into you". "I'm tired big guy, today was a long day for me so i'll be in my room and please don't bother me OK? " i said and went into my room, i slumped on my bed and couldn't help but think of my mom, i wish she were here.

Raphael's POV

I've been avoiding my usual..... Company, if they find out about Austin, they'll try to harm him to get to me and this time im determined to protect him from them. I've missed him so much, I can't loose him again, no matter what i'll always protect him. I've asked three of my underlings to watch and protect him from afar all the time, he mustn't know they are there, at least this way i'll be sure his safe. I'm not really a fan of school but for him I'll keep going, so that i can have my eyes on him. If only i could hold him close to me again, that would be nice. I'm ready for school, I'll wait for him at the junction because he doesn't know I'm aware of where he lives and I don't want to creep him out, i decide to call him and let him know I'm there.

Austins POV

Raphael called me and as soon as I saw his name on my phone i felt as silly as a child who had a crush on someone but then again, I did have a crush on him, trust my stupid heart to love someone i can't have. He told me he's waiting for me at the junction and for some reason that made me smile. I thought it was sweet of him to wait for me this early but then the thought of him being a new student with practically no friends beside maybe me? (I'm not sure on our relationship) made me feel sad because it was obvious i was reading too much into nothing. I told him I would be there then i left for school, after making breakfast for my parents. I met him and he looked great, he felt like hot chocolate on a cold rainy Sunday night and i don't know why that thought came into my mind but when it did and he looked at me with a smirk, I blushed, sometimes i swear he can read my thoughts. "Good morning, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting". "No problem, I don't mind waiting for you". "OK, let's wait for Emily then". "I said I don't mind waiting for you not Emily ". He said and even though i liked that, it felt odd. "Well she's my friend and we really should wait for her, she won't be long", I was still speaking when Emily ran to us apologizing, i looked at Raphael and noticed he was very happy about that. "I'm sorry for keeping you guys waiting, shall we proceed? ", she asked and we began to walk to school. Emily was such a sweet heart, she normally goes to school by car but since we became friends, she's been walking to school with me. We walked in awkward silence till we got to school, it seemed we all had our thoughts but once we got to school, Emily quickly ran off saying she was late for class and that we would meet up later which left me with an unhappy Raphael, i don't know why he was suddenly grumpy, we were in the hallway with few students going about their daily life's when he said I'll head for class. I was puzzled and concerned so i asked him what the problem was then he came closer to me with a certain look in his eyes which i couldn't decipher. "I wanted to spend some time with you alone this morning but you had to wait for Emily, you know what just forget it". He turned and left but before he was out of sight he called out "I'll see you after school" which made me sad because it meant i wouldn't see him till the day was over, but why did he want to be with me alone?
