Chapter 20

In an alley, sounds of battle could be heard but you wouldn't really see anyone, you would hear a bang or a groan and a few flashes but no humans.

Raphael's pov

After I got the address, I went to a room in my house which I used as a weaponry and stored all the weapons I had there.

I took a dagger coated with poison and then I began running to the address my subordinate sent me.

I decided to run because it was way faster and more quiet.

I ran to the location where my subordinate sent me and then I saw him, he was hiding behind a small bush which was a stone's throw from Austin's house.

"what are we doing here?", I asked him.

"The men I saw are hiding closer to Austin's house". He said and pointed me in their direction.

I looked at where he pointed and I saw the bush where the men were hiding was swaying ever slowly. If one didn't look well, they wouldn't know someone was there.

"Do you know anything about them", I asked my subordinate who in reply shook his head indicating a 'no' after which he said "by my guess, they are also vampires".

I wondered who would have the power to command a group of vampires, he or she must be a big shot but I did not care. He or she shouldn't have messed with Austin.

It was 9pm which was basically dark, I told my subordinate to get ready to attack on my signal. We were only two and they were twelve but the two of us could take them. I didn't even have to enter berserk mode or rage mode in order to destroy them.

I decided to lure them to a quiet alley where we wouldn't be seen even if anyone happened to be passing this street.

I threw a can towards them and then threw another can towards the alley. Normally I didn't like litter but I was happy to find these Cans here.

Just as I planned, one person out of the group went to check it out. Using my speed, I raced to the man in alley and hit him with my dagger, killing him with one strike and yet making sure he screamed so as to attract his companions.

They came running over to inspect the noise.

"Who are you?", One of the men asked me after he saw me. I counted them and made sure they were eleven.

"The last living being you will see" I said and used a spell I knew to create a force field around the exit or entrance of the alley.

After doing this, I and my companion began fighting those guys.

Four of them charged at me and with my incredible speed which not to brag but was better than theirs, I attacked them using my dagger to cut them in bits.

They weren't terrible, at least they knew how to fight a little bit but the poison coated on the blade ensured they were slowly weakened.

I didn't plan to kill them untill I knew who they were working for. We kept on fighting, each time one of them threw a punch, I would try to avoid it and attack someone else. This went on for a few minutes till I made sure I had hit all eleven of them with my dagger.

My companion was also good at fighting, I made sure all my subordinates were trained. After a few minutes of fighting, they all slowly got tired and soon lost consciousness.

When the first guy dropped along with the second and third guy. They all guessed something was wrong and tried to escape but the spell I cast prevented that from happening.

After they all lost consciousness, my subordinate came to me and asked, "what do we do boss".

I smiled cruelly as I had a plan in mind for them. I told my subordinate to go and get my a truck while I stayed behind and ensured the vampires we had defeated remain unconscious.

When my subordinate came back with the truck, we both dragged the vampires into the truck and took them home.

In my home, there's a basement which I plan to keep them locked in and torture them until they tell me who sent them after Austin.

Spectators/Narators pov

It was dead silent, after a few hours of screaming, the once noisy room was quiet once again as another voice ceased to make a sound again forever.

Inside this room, down in the basement of a vampires house, there were two vampires, bounded up in chains like dogs.

The brick stone of the walls were blackene due to years of blood splashed on it which indicated that this room had been used as a place to torment people or creatures.

The prisoners which looked more like flesh on bones were the vampires who had tried to attack Austin. They looked deay pitiful and it had only been a few hours since the fight.

With each movement they tried to make, their chains clanked together or against the wall making a grating sound which filled their already non beating hearts with fear and dread of what it meant. For they knew that they were now that mans prisoners.

Raphael walked into the room slowly, casting an evil smirk at them like the devil walking out of hell. Eyes fuming and fists clenched so hard his nails tore into his own flesh and made him bleed.

He was ready to punch them with the same.e fists if he didn't get the answers he wanted. And if he got those answers, he would still kill these vampires for trying to go after his beloved.

Out of the eleven men, only two remained alive, others dying due to Raphael "accidentally" using more strength than they could bear to kill them.

Normally as vampires, these men would've escaped. But the man before them had done something to them, some kind of spell that made them extremely hungry and weak at the same time. They needed blood and if they couldn't get it soon, they would die.
