Chapter 52: A close one

Dyllis and Gorolla finished searching the whole area. Originally Gorolla was in a different wing but finished a lot quicker than she thought so she went to go find Dyllis to see if the little cannibal need any help or if she was in danger.

They gained quite a haul and with Dyllis finding the winter wizard book of magic they waltz their way back to the entrance and chill there for a while, their bodies ache from muscle restraint from fighting with numerous frozen zombie-like creatures, that had the intention to tickle them to death for some odd reason.

Gorolla destroys them with brute force shattering the frozen corpses' hearts. Dyllis on the other hand infused her mana in her claws to get to their hearts, pulling them out with a satisfactory crack. Dyllis was very tempted to eat the frozen heart then and there but hold herself back not wanting to ruin her image.

Dyllis just put them away in food storage hoping she will get a break to devour the hearts, she thought 'Why are there so many of these things? Is it part of the curse that the ice mage made?

Dyllis focus her mana to her index finger point, a black orb with a dreadful aura grew rapidly increasing in size to the size of a full-grown man head, flicking her index finger towards the horde of ice zombies.

Upon contact with the seemly endless hoard, the black sphere Absorb every ice zombie in its path, eating up to two hundred ice zombies. Clearing a large space in the crowded Dining room, fortunately, the Ice mage hadn't taken interest in the explosion and the sounds of manic laughter.

Earlier Gorolla and Dyllis were just chilling on the frost kissed sofa relaxing their muscles when one of those ice zombies limped inside through a concerted bathroom, it started laughing like crazy once it spotted the duo, Dyllis was quick to end its life but unfortunately, the horde rushed inside and started their relentless attack, clothing was being torn apart leaving a little to cover their breasts and other zones.

That was how this fight began, even if Dyllis died again she would just come back to life. An idea came to mind "Gorolla do you trust me with your life?" Dyllis Hollar at the older woman, her biceps and triceps flex as she continued her assault on the zombies.

"I do young dark deer" The muscular woman replied through gritted teeth "Then cover your ears until I give you the ok" Dyllis spike firmly, she didn't want to resort to this option but she had no other choice "Your shaman Dyllis summon the blood Elf wendigo twins" Dyllis current Speech sounded like the undead groans and grunts as she Bast away the ice zombies from Gorolla.

Dyllis clawed at her forearm, black blood dripped from her arm rapidly, using her mana to spread the blood into the air forming a formation. The ice zombie felt create fear enter their bodies and stopped laughing and just stare at the bloody black formation that glows brilliantly.

"Twenty-four hearts of ice zombies will be the price to summon the twins that will befall the whole elven race" With that said blue hearts appear out of thin air and enter the formation.

Two small figures in a kid's body that looked identical, blood-red skin and those cat-like eyes full of bloodlust. They have long pointy ears and coal colour hair. Even though these two used to give the elf nations the run for their money they were forced to obey an undead being.

They immediately ran towards the hordes of zombies and went on a killing spree, even if their grade was lower to a C negative rank as monsters they still kept a ghastly amount of their strength and powers, using their blood to thin out the monsters that were attacking Dyllis and her companion.

Dyllis picked up Gorolla with surprising strength and hide in the corner with her covering her view from the fight, she had uncover her ears only to hear dreadful laughs getting cut short with a thump as if a Bodie fell to the ground.

After twenty minutes the whole room became quiet as an abounded house. Dyllis backed away from Gorolla feeling kinda flustered with being so close to the other woman, Gorolla snapped out of a dazed state and immediately stood up, her eyes landing on the twins "who are they" Gorolla eyes turn vivid with suspicion towards the pointy ears twins.

Dyllis chuckled lightly "These are my little cousins" Dyllis eyes landed on the two showing their status.

'So that's what their status looks like' Dyllis thought "These two are Gelthar and Anel, There elvish nature shows more than their dark deer heritage" Dyllis try her best to smooth talk her way out, Gorolla looked at them in disbelief "What about that magic you just did?" Gorolla pressed for more answers.

"Their mother taught me some elf magic and said if I were ever in a pickle, I should just do this magic" Dyllis reply sheepishly, the twins glared at Dyllis with slight hatred "That is correct, mother wasn't available so we came instead" Gelthar confirm the cannibal white lie, Gorolla face brighten up "let's go to the others and get out of this terrible place" She looked like she wanted to curse but hold her tongue in front of the two children.

"Gelthar let's go back home before mother finds out that we are missing" Anel command her younger brother and hopped into the formation disappearing, Gelthar trail behind her and vanish. The formation lost its glow effect and fell to the floor turning into a puddle of blood.

"Sounds good" Dyllis reply to Gorolla feeling troubled, she could always kill her but that would mean it was a waste of system points. The pair found the others and left since they had got what they wanted and more, after a good amount of distance away from the ice crypt, the party set up camp and went to sleep while Dyllis remain on watch duty.
