57 (LVII) Xag

Ichiko groaned as her vision slowly focused, gripping the edges of the indention in the stone as she pulled herself out of the stone wall. 

She collapsed to the ground, catching herself on her hands and knees, coughing as blood spattered across the floor. 

She looked to her left and right, tears forming in the corners of her eyes as she saw the unmoving bodies of Hia and Lin. 

'Fuck!' She inwardly exclaimed; half of the group was dead, and the other half was at death's doorstep. 

Ichiko slammed her fist against the ground, anger welling up inside her as she gritted her teeth. She reached out, grabbed her uchigatana's hilt, and raised her head. 

Xag stood over Isaac, goading him as his massive warhammer rested on his shoulder. He gripped it with both hands and raised it above his head as a powerful gust of wind forced him to step back, raising his head.
