58 (LVIII) The Celestial Blacksmith

*CLANK!!*

The metal cart crashed onto the highway, sparks flying as it skidded across the asphalt and banged into an abandoned car.

Sam landed close to the crash site, rolling as he rose from a knee, placed his hand on the back of his neck, and gave a sly smile.

"Jackass..." Zishawn huffed, landing squarely on his feet and staring at the younger man, admonishing him, "You should work on landing some more..."

"Heh..." Sam chuckled, "Sorry about that."

"So, why are we here?" He asked, walking over to the barrier of the highway and looking around the ruins of Pittsburgh.

"One of my mom's close friends used to live here." Samael lied, standing beside him as he shared the view, "I came to look for her."

"If Pittsburgh is anything like Chicago..." Zishawn said, glancing over at the young man.

"She's tough..." Sam said with a smile, placing his hand on the older man's shoulder, "Don't worry, she's around here somewhere."
