The wail of sirens filled the air, the unmistakable sound of an ambulance cutting through the noise as I lay sprawled out, my own blood pooling beneath me. Each pulse echoed in my ears, and with every beat, I felt my life slipping further away.

"Guess that's it for me," I thought, taking in the vast amount of blood I'd lost. I wasn't a doctor, but even I knew that after losing this much, survival was no longer an option.

I strained to turn my head, just enough to catch sight of a little girl nearby. People were crowding around her, checking to make sure she was okay. "At least... you're... sa...fe..." I managed, words barely escaping my lips as everything faded.

And then... darkness. Or, at least, that's how it was supposed to end.

Right now, I'm lying on a bed as hard as a rock, turning to look at an old guy who's watching me with concern. He's signing something I can't quite make out.

I just got my memories back, and I learned that my name is Xiao Shin, but I have no idea what that means. Can't be anything cool, like in the anime world—Naruto would've had me feeling like a hero, but here I am in Douluo, and I know nothing about it. The only thing that's stuck in my head is some keyboard warrior talking about the main character being a villain. And here I am, in the same village as this villain MC.

Great. Just great. What kind of mess have I landed in?

"Xiao Shi, are you alright?" the old grandpa asked again. I nodded, feeling a bit more stable.

"Good, good!" he exclaimed with joy. "I'll make some warm porridge for you," he said as he left the room.

As soon as he was gone, I stood up, but suddenly it felt like something heavy hit my head. A massive wave of memories flooded in, clearer than before.

"I see," I mumbled, grasping the sudden understanding. My real name is Zhu Shin; "Xiao" is just a nickname. It's like a veil lifting, revealing a whole new world of memories and realities.

Now, I had to figure out what all this meant for me and how I was going to navigate this strange life.

"A system? I guess this is standard reincarnation stuff," I thought, recalling my previous life. I was well-versed in these tropes, and it all started to make sense. Of course, I'd find myself in Douluo Dalu after seeing that blue-haired kid, Tang San, back at grandpa's house.

This was going to be a wild ride. With the Supreme One System on my side, I might just be able to carve out a path for myself here. But first, I needed to understand what this system could do for me. I should try to make out the best of this life, though it's not like I was any bad in my previous life, I was an famous figure in the worlds of Stock Market, I had made Millions of Dollars easily.

But I guess at the end, those money don't matter now. Sigh. I looked around the old hut; it wasn't that bad, really?.

"System, are you here?" I asked, and suddenly a notification appeared in front of my eyes.

[Host doesn't need to say it aloud; Host can command me mentally.]

"Okay, what are your functions?" I queried, hoping for something useful.

[None at the moment.]

"Huh?" I was confused. "Why are you even here then?" The Supreme One System seemed unreliable at the moment.

[This Supreme System is designed to make Host the Supreme One in the whole reality.]

[But Host has to start from zero and must make some choices. According to those choices, System functions will be activated.]

"So what are the choices?" I asked, eager to get to the good stuff.

[The choices are about the paths.]

[It is seen that the whole world is that of Douluo Dalu.]

I stared at the options, pondering. "I see… choices? Of course, Martial Supreme. I'm not a beast or a human turned beast," I replied, speechlessly, this system turning more and more reliable.

Suddenly, my body felt so light that I felt like I could fly. My senses flared to life, picking up the sounds of bubbling pots and the humming of old grandpa in the other room. After a moment, the feeling of power surged through me, transforming my skinny frame. I looked at myself and realized I felt strong, like I had a new purpose.

I waited, excitement building, as a new notification appeared: CULTIVATION TECHNIQUE UNLOCKED—Eternal Art of Beginning and End.

It was a cultivation technique of the highest grade, marked as a Supreme grade art. Though, I didn't know what other grades existed.

The Supreme Shop was a treasure trove, containing everything I had ever seen or that existed in my previous world, whether real or fictional. The possibilities were endless!

And then there were the Supreme Points. These were crucial to the system, needed for accessing the Supreme Shop or performing any upgrades. I could use them to advance my own cultivation or even enhance others.

"Is there anything else left?" I asked, eager for more information.

[Nothing, but there are Quest functions. Host will be given Quests from time to time, with rewards that can vary from Supreme Points to anything else in the Shop.]

Quests, huh? That sounded promising. I could earn rewards and build my power while tackling challenges. I couldn't wait to see what the system would throw at me.

"Xiao Shi, porridge is ready!" Grandpa called from the kitchen. I realized I'd have to wait for it, but that was fine. I had time to gather my thoughts and plan my next moves.
