Landing

[Planet: Elordia]

The space pod holding Ruka descended from the sky, generating intense heat from friction and compressed air, making it appear as if it were on fire. Nonetheless, Ruka was completely fine, even after the space pod landed on a large mountain inside a large forest, creating a large crater.

When it landed inside the crater, a huge pile of dust and dirt kicked up and flew away from the impact, temporarily veiling the space pod. Along with this, all the animals scattered from there since they could feel an ominous, terrifying power emanating from the weird white metal object that seemed to blink with a blue light.

This place was completely devoid of humanoid life, and the only things that were here were animals, insects, and plant life that extended far and wide. Wherever Ruka's space pod had landed, it was clearly safe from intervention.

Five years had passed, and Ruka was in a comatose state until she was ready to wake up and leave the pod. She was getting too big to be there forever, plus there was something important waiting for her, so living in that pod forever would hinder everything.

Thankfully, after five years, something deep inside her forced her awake, causing her to open her golden draconic eyes. Ruka looked around and didn't know where she was, how she ended up here, or what was in store for her.

Everything she would experience from this day forth would be completely new, and at the moment, she didn't have anyone to help her. Well, that would be the case if that same something that awoke her didn't appear itself before her. Luckily for Ruka, it did.

Ruka's golden draconic eyes glowed, and in her vision, a hologram had appeared in front of her in the shape of a golden woman. However, this woman didn't have any facial features at all, but when she spoke to Ruka, her tone was warm, comforting, and inviting. "Hello, Mistress. You may not understand me now, but you will in just a moment. Uploading [Galactic Language] to your database."

After a few moments of waiting, an influx of information flooded Ruka's mind, causing her to clasp her head with her hands. Wincing from how uncomfortable this was, it soon calmed down, allowing Ruka to do so as well.

This time, when the holographic woman spoke to Ruka, the latter could understand her. "Now, then, Mistress. I apologize for such a rude awakening. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know."

Although Ruka had gained so much information about a lot of things, such as their pronunciation, their meaning, and the sentence structure of the way they're supposed to be used, it was still going to be her first time speaking. So, when she spoke, she started to mumble, "Wheream I? Whoam I?"

Gratefully, the holographic woman understood her words and intentions. She replied with delight and warmth, "You are Ruka, my Mistress, [Classified], daughter of [Classified] and [Classified]. You have landed here on Eldoria."

Seeing the confusion on Ruka's face, the holographic woman understood that parts of her speech were redacted for Ruka's safety, so she rephrased. "You are Ruka, a Draconic Orc Futanari who is deeply loved. A lot will not make much sense now, but in time, it will. I'll be able to answer any questions that don't interfere with why you're here or those who are related to you."

After saying this, the holographic woman projected a global map in her hand, showing Ruka the world that she landed in, Eldoria. "As you can see, you have landed on Eldoria, a planet where you will be able to safely grow up, become stronger, and learn. You will meet a lot of people, some good and some bad. Until then, you will train before you seek civilization."

This was a lot to take in for a five-year-old, but fortunately, this [Galactic Language] skill helped her understand everything perfectly. Still, she didn't know everything, and those things she will learn with the help of the holographic woman.

"To start your training, I am uploading some survival skills to your database so that you can survive out here in the wilderness." The holographic woman claimed, and a few seconds later, several skills were indeed added to her database.

Explaining each one, the holographic woman said as she gestured her hands, "You have been given four skills; those are [Nano-Body Transformation], [Crafting & Dismantling], [Aura Absorption], and [Survivalist Guide]."

Then the same uncomfortable feeling of Ruka's mind being flooded appeared again, only this time it was far easier since she was expecting it and was slowly getting used to it.

She then continued to explain each one, and as she did this, a hologram appeared and would show what the skill was and how to use it. "The [Nano-Body Transformation] skill will allow you to do two things. First, you can properly shape your body into anything you desire. The second thing is that you will be able to consume materials, whether physical, magical, or ethereal, no matter the material's property or state."

"That skill will be useful for the next skill, [Crafting & Dismantling], that will allow you to craft objects as long as you have a clear understanding of what they look like, their effects, and the necessary materials needed. Once you have completed these three conditions, you will be able to craft and/or dismantle to your heart's content."

"The next skill is [Aura Absorption]. You see, how power or strength is determined is through their personal aura, an ethereal field reflecting someone's attributes. There are two different types of auras: Warrior and Magician. If someone is born with a warrior's aura, they will train and gain physical attributes mostly, while those who are born with a magician's aura will train and gain their magical attributes. For the physical attributes, these are vitality, strength, agility, and dexterity. The magical attributes are intelligence and charisma. Now, people can train all attributes if they so wish, but sooner or later, it will be more efficient to train your innate aura than not."

Taking a moment to pause, the holographical woman allowed Ruka to think on this in order to ask her, "Uh, which aura was I born wif?" to which was answered in no less than a second, "Mistress, you are destined for great things. In order to accomplish those things, you will need both types of auras, which you have."

Ruka understood everything this holographic woman was saying, but she didn't exactly know the context of why this was important. Again, while she gained knowledge of practically all words and their meanings, with no further understanding or context, she didn't have all the answers.

Despite this, she clearly knew that, because she was born with both auras, she was somehow important and special. And yet, she didn't really know how she should feel at the moment.

"Now, to continue where I left off, this skill will allow you to consume all living things with aura so that you can absorb their aura and raise your aura, your physical and magical attributes, without the need for training. But I must inform you, Mistress, that you should not neglect your training just because you can gain attributes in a different way."

After seeing a nod from Ruka, the holographic woman continued once more, "For your last skill, [Survivalist's Guide], it will allow you to have a complete guide full of information so that you can survive in all situations in any circumstances. This will be your most important skill out here in the wild and in the future, so please use it and use me when needed. After all, that is why I'm here."

With everything out of the way, the holographic woman was about to do something until Ruka stopped her before asking, "Um, what's your name?"

Hearing this, the holographic woman just replied in the same loving tone, "I don't have a name. You can give me one if you want." which made Ruka start thinking of a good name for the holographic woman.

It took her a minute to come up with the name "Luna," and the holographic woman, now Luna, thought it was wonderful. "Thank you, Mistress, for such a perfect name. From now on, I am Luna. Now, then. Let's get your life started."

To open the space pod to gain access to the outside world, Ruka needed to open the pram that protected her from landing. Inside the pram itself, it was very dark. The only reason Ruka could see Luna was because Luna projected herself through Ruka's vision only, not in the environment. Anything or anyone wouldn't be able to see Luna this way; thus, her bright golden holographic light, or body, would not illuminate the environment.

However, Ruka's body was special because of not only Luna but also because of her parents. Their genetic gifts were not activated since Ruka's body isn't capable of handling all of those powers at the moment; therefore, they are inaccessible to Ruka. Something as simple as night vision, however, could be easily utilized.

In a couple of seconds, Ruka's vision adjusted to the darkness, and soon after, Ruka could see as if there was light inside the pram. Looking around, Ruka saw various buttons that were sealed in case she accidentally hit one of them in her comatose-like state. Now that she is awake, this was not needed.

Luna, through Ruka's vision only, marked certain buttons with a colored circle for her to press. "I will tell you to press these buttons in this order by color." and that's exactly what Luna did.

A few moments later, Ruka had finished pressing the necessary buttons in the correct order, and the pram had finally opened, revealing the space pod that remained open. And once again, Luna and Ruka did the exact same thing, and the space pod opened, freeing Ruka and allowing her to see something incredible.
