9 The System (1).
"You guys better hurry up or you would have to duel with me." Taro,Kaiden and his boys upon hearing this started running towards the teacher. Axel not knowing what to do also followed up.
"That's better." Zarekion,their practical teacher said. He was among the top ten strongest in the school and no students ever wanted to duel with him and get beaten up." I hope everyone is here. Then activate your system and get ready for a duel in groups of three against each other." he said again
"Let's form a group with another person." Taro asked but Axel was lost on thoughts.
"What's this system stuff? Why don't I have one? How am I going to gain one? I can't be the weak in this world again. Why didn't Thorngage tell me about all this. What am I supposed to do now?" was all Axel could think about.
"Thorngage,come here." Axel and said in a normal tone. As if Thorngage was just a few meters away,he appeared. "You called." Thorngage said with his left knee and and right hand in a fist form touching the ground.
"Hey,hey,hey. Who is that? How can you even try intrude the class to speak with someone without a system? Zarekion said with anger in his voice. "Huh!" Thorngage shouted looking back at the person who just spoke. No one saw Thorngage when he entered, they just turned to see what was happening when Zarekion spoke.
Just by looking at the person standing in front of Axel and his aura Zarekion bowed. "I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to disrespect you. I'm truly sorry, I'll watch myself next time before speaking. In Galadrielle, if you really wished to live then respect the power. That was the same thing Zarekion was doing.
"I'm very sorry but this is a secured information and we cannot speak here. But master Lyrikson told me that you were supposed to train for it so you don't need your powers now to duel against these ones." Thorngage whispered to Axel and disappeared as if nothing happened.
But this had calmed Axel down a little. "Who would have thought the leadr of the stealth force will appear here." Zarekion said now standing. "So ignore evevthing that just happened and form your groups." He said once more.
Astrid walked towards Axel and Taro."Can I join your group?" Taro was so shy to speak. Axel was more shy but had to force and talk. "Hey,why is Astrid joining those losers." Kaiden shouted. The other classmate were also jealous of Astrid joining the group of losers.
"Oh, I see. So that thy can gain their only win from her since they are all weak." Kaiden said. "Would you all keep quiet unless you want death." Zarekion bellowed. His was enough to keep the whole class in check. Now let's start. "Well,I don't know how you're going to participate Axel but as long as you have a group. You must." Zarekion said calmly.
"So you can choose a team you want to duel with but you must have an agreement." Zarekion said once more to tell them hy weren't picking fights. Before the selection of opponents could even start Kaiden already knew the team he wanted to crush, Axel's team.
"With this I might be able to gain his trust and then maybe we can work together to make him stronger. Well it seems he can produce a very powerful aura but he has concealed it..." Astrid was thinking. Astrid was one of the descendants of Lord Rylan which meant that she was also supposed to swear her allegiance to Axel's. Although Axel wasn't told about this yet.
"I'm going with Axel's team. I'm going crush you all. Well maybe I'm going shall spare only the beauty amongst you. Kaiden said with a face to show that he was really serious.
"So I'm supposed to fight with only my weapon and no Kyokai.Well I'll try hard to beat him." Axel was still thinking. " Okay,let's just not to be beaten.
" Activate system,Arctrix. "
" Activate system,Morphix."
Both Astrid and Taro said to activate their powers."So Astrid is wielder of the legendary Arctrix, sword of the ice black panthers." Zarekion said to himself. When in the Bronze rank in his world " activate system" must be said to get your power into action. But after reaching the Silver rank power can be used without saying it.
When Astrid released her sword Axel was fast to notice that it was for Lord Rylan but had to keep his mouth shut to prevent Astrid from knowing his secret identity. A small ice domain was formed around only the sword since Astrid was still weak.
Taro's eye had become pure brown as a colour of a beast. His standing position was as if he was being possessed. His finger nails had now become claws comparable to that of a wolf. He was actually a half beast.
Axel just watched as Astrid and Taro amazed the other students with their powers.
"Activate system,Incantia"
"Activate system,Arcarius"
"Activate system, Blade Master"
The first person who spoke was Kaiden. He was a magician. His power was for fire elemental to be specific. "Incantia" was an activation code for magicians. The second person was an archer and "Arcarius was an activation code for every archer.
The third person was a swordsman and with the activation code for every swordsman was "Blade Master" but since Astrid's sword was a divine weapon she had to mention the name of the beat the sword possessed to activate it in Bronze to Iron rank.
"Is everyone ready. Then let the fight begin." Zarekion shouted. Immediately when the start was said Kaiden cared in with his boys immediately. Axel placed his hand on his waist as if holding a something in his hand and immediately the dralion's sheathed katana appeared. He took his stance and waited but Kaiden and his boys had stopped in their tracks.
"Impossible,hey sir did you see what just happened?" Kaiden asked Zarekion with a confused look on his face. The little power leaking from the katana showed how strong Axel could become in the future to Zarekion. But he brushed it off as a bluff. "He doesn't have a system that is why." now Kaiden didn't see it as a threat anymore.
The archer rushed towards Taro with the release of lot of arrows from all directions. That was one of his skills arrow domain where arrows are shot from different directions towards an opponent. He thought the battle was already over thinking he had connered Taro and stood watching.
With swift movement as those of a big cat Taro was dodging just as fast as he could. But the arrows became overwhelming,he had no choice but to use it again. "Primal roar"
RRRAAAAHHH!!!
The roar was now powerful because he was a half beast. The domain of arrows were shattered as the roar was sounded. The archer's pride in his strongest skill was shattered into pieces. While he was still thinking of how his domain was broken with just a roar, Taro pounced on him with his claws pointed at his throat.
"Calvin has been defeated. He shall now withdraw from the battle leaving only his three opponent and two of his teammates." Zarekion shouted. The other students cheered for Taro but all he could do was to just shrink in his shyness.
"Arctrix: Glacial Fury" Astrid said while swinging her sword in he direction of the third boy,. This was a skill that released torrents of icy claws and teeth dealing damage to opponent. The icy claws and teeth had headed for third boy,Ethan.
He continued charging towards the icy claws and teeth headed for and leaped forward and said "Voroal strike.". A swift and deadly slash released which deals massive damage. Ethan's skill had collided with that of Astrid causing a mini explosion. Ethan charged again at Astrid was actually looking for the direction in which Ethan would come from.
Ethan shouted "Feint", a skill that created a fake attack to lead opponents into traps. Astrid immediately saw Ethan changing forward at him. When he jumped to strike,Astrid was about to block the attack but the sword just went through him.
"Here" Ethan said as he dashed at full speed towards Astrid from the back. With one clean strike,Astrid was disqualified. She had received a clean strike at the back of her neck causing her to pass out.
"It seems he had no mercy on the beauty in your group,I'm really sorry. And now can you even win without a system?" Kaiden teased Axel.
" If I secure a win,then we win." Axel said looking straight at Kaiden. Before Axel could reposition his body,"Lightning strike" lightning was already on it's way to deal the damage which it did. Axel was stunned for about five seconds. In this few seconds,"Inferno" a fireball was headed right for Axel when he gained his composure back.
