Before I could grasp my bearings, gun shots were ringing in my ears. My eyes snapped open. I found myself standing in the same spot.

I turned to check out the situation, but my eyes locked on the pedestal. I walked over to it and waved my hand. The metal plaque split in two before retracting into the pedestal. A compartment was revealed.

In the hidden compartment was a holocron, a cross peen hammer with a kyber crystal embedded in the top, an ingot of unknown metal, and a modest beaded necklace.

I quickly put everything into my backpack before turning around. Now it was time to live.

Leighton was leaning against the open door with an SMG in his hands. He quickly noticed me moving about. "Master! You're awake!"

I looked around and found Lyle and Olivia on their knees next to different sarcophagi. There were two operators next to each of them. They appeared to be in a daze.

Suddenly, I felt danger. I rolled forwards, taking cover behind a sarcophagus.

Bullets flew past me. Chunks of stone and dust when flying into the air.

I shivered as I felt a chill rip through my body. I wiped the sweat from my forehead, but it did little to help. Is it just the cool and damp air down here? Or was there something else?

I gripped my rifle and pulled back the slide to check that it was loaded. I flicked the switch on the side to change the firing mode to semi-auto, popped up from behind my cover, and aimed down my sights.

I saw someone wearing green camo swing around the door frame while aiming into the mausoleum. I shifted my sights to the left and locked onto their chest before squeezing the trigger.

The bullet hit their chest, causing them to stumble. I pulled up and squeezed the trigger once more. Their body went limp as a bloody mist shot through the air. They crumpled to the ground.

I kept aiming at the door as I moved to the next sarcophagus. Two more enemies emerged. I quickly killed one of them with a single shot to their head. The second soon followed them to the grave as Leighton unleashed a stream of bullets into their ear.

I rounded one last sarcophagus and then reached the wall. I looked across the open doorway to my padawan. "WHO ARE THESE GUYS?"

Leighton tossed an empty magazine onto the ground before jamming another into his SMG. "I RECKON THEY'RE RUSSIAN?"

I sighed. "Fuck. WHERE ARE THE CHINESE?"

Leighton shrugged. "NOT SURE."

I shook my head and glanced around the corner. There was a large group of people standing behind the few that were shooting into the mausoleum. Next to them was a group of three; two men and a woman. One of the men looked familiar.

I got an idea after seeing the large group, so I tapped my ear. "If you can move, get ready. We're gonna rush them."

Tucker quickly replied. "Kyle, I really fucking hope you know what you're doing."

I smiled. "Don't worry. I'm just gonna make some cheese."

I darted out from behind the door and yelled. "MOVE!"

The large group reacted quickly, raising their weapons and aiming at me. The familiar man from the trio on the side noticed me and his eyes widened. He looked as if he was about to yell something, but he was instantly drowned out.

At least 30 guns began firing at me. I took my left hand off my rifle and held it forward with my palm open. A wall of bullets began to form.

I smirked as I noticed the panicked expression on the familiar man's face. Then, I flicked my hand forwards.

The bullets flew back towards the large group. Scraps of clothes and sprays of blood exploded into the air as they were shredded.

There was a series of groans and thuds as almost all of them collapsed to the floor. Then, there was silence. The remaining enemies were trembling in fear.

The trio, however, were glaring at me. Their eyes shone in varying intensities of yellow.

I let out a big exhale. "Ahhhh, much better. You fuckers were so noisy."

The familiar man raised his rifle and started firing at me. I wasn't ready for this so I had to roll out of the way.

By the time I was back on my feet, I could only watch as they shot through the air with the assistance of the force. They disappeared further into the ruins.
