Chapter 27

After the long meeting, Moka and the others set many things in motion. Seeing as how the marriage was already arranged, and Vera Beroya was the Heiress to a big Clan with many warriors and assets, Moka decided to go ahead with the marriage. Not only would merging the Clans bring him many warriors and assets, to his surprise, he could also feel the force telling him this was the right decision.

When Roz heard that Moka wanted the wedding to proceed, she was ecstatic. Her and Nam Beroya were old friends, and she couldn't be happier that their Clans would be merging through a marriage of their young ones. Roz had met Vera when she was just a little girl and even then, she was a quiet, yet respectable young lady with a hint of mischievousness that she felt was perfect for Moka.

With the marriage agreed to, Roz set about inviting Clan Awaud to Mandalore so that the soon to be married couple could meet one another.

Another piece of big news that nearly brought Roz to tears was Moka finally admitting that he was to become a father soon. When Shmi had called him asking about the safety of Anakin, she revealed that she was well into her pregnancy, with him obviously being the father. When Moka revealed that both Abbela and Shmi were pregnant with his children, happiness soon swept through the once somber meeting.

Mandalorians weren't the type to get hung up over the fact whether one was married before they had kids. Mandalorions are so short in number that they willingly adopt orphaned or lost children and treat them like their own, So when Moka revealed that he would soon have two children, on top of soon being married and potentially making more children into their Clan and House, those there couldn't be happier. Shmi and Abbela were treated differently soon after that as the two became openly known as the mothers to Moka's future children.

Wisely, before the news became public, Moka decided to move Shmi to Kahlua and have one of the Elders replace her as Ambassador of Tatooine. He didn't need anyone attacking Shmi in order to get to him.

When Shmi arrived, she looked well and truly ready to burst, and was sure she'd be giving birth soon, as she was already pregnant before he left for the War on Kazarak months prior. With a large pregnant belly and a beautifully radiant smile, Shmi looked as though she were practically glowing. 'That pregnancy glow is seriously dangerous. Even with most of my dark side corruption gone, I still have the urge to make another kid or eight, with this beautiful lady. But I highly doubt my future wife will let that happen, Mandalorion baby crisis or no.' Moka thought to himself as he admired Shmi fondly as she came down the ramp.

His future wife can say nothing about the kids about to be born, but once he makes his Oath to her, that'll be a different story. Mandalorians loved their oaths.

"Mom! You're finally here! You're so huge now!" Anakin yelled as he ran and hugged his mother who he hadn't seen in half a year at this point. Hearing this, Shmi playfully smacked Anakin, reprimanding him on calling pregnant women big.

When Shmi finally made it in front of Moka, she struggled with her new size to bow before him, only for him to stop her, and carefully pull her into a hug. "You are soon going to be the mother to my first child. You'll never have to bow to me, Silly" Moka said as he took off his helmet and gave her a loving kiss to her forehead, causing her face to blush heavily.

Seeing this, Anakin grew confused and excited. "D-does this mean you're going to be my new dad?" Anakin asked, worried about the answer. He has never had a real father figure as most other mean that hung around his mom had bad intentions, but Moka was different.

Hearing this, Shmi and Moka looked each other in the eyes, having a silent conversation, before Moka looked back towards Anakin, and crouched to his level. "Well, that depends on you, bud. Me and your mother's relationship is... different. Yes, she is having my child, but she isn't the one I am to marry. Still, I will make sure you are both well taken care of. Now, if you would like, I could officially adopt you, making you a Foundling like I have many other children. Except unlike them, you will become a part of my Clan and House, but unfortunately, the next in line to inherit the throne must possess my blood. If you are okay with that, I promise to take you as my son, and treat you no differently than my other children." Moka said slowly and carefully to make sure Anakin understood every word.

This was big. Yes, Foundlings could become heirs to clans, even his future wife Vera was both a Foundling and an Heiress. But, Anakin was too much of a wild card to have him inherit the throne. What if something happened in the future and BOOM, now you have a Dark Lord with near endless wealth, a Mandalorion army, and special training in a new force energy. He could form an Empire that could make Palpatines look silly.

Anakin thought seriously about Moka's words for a long 5 seconds before he vigorously nodded his head and jumped to hug Moka. "Please be my new daddy!" Anakin pleaded full of emotion as he hugged Moka tighter, as if he would change his mind if he let go.

Hugging Anakin back, Moka nodded his head. "Then from now own, you will be my son, both you and you're mother naturally joining my Clan. You will be known as Anakin and Shmi Kahl from now on." Moka said as he stood and ruffled Anakin's hair. Sure at this point, Moka was just about to turn 16 and Anakin was 9 and half, but you have to remember one big fact, Moka was reincarnated.

In his past life, before he died, Moka was 30 years old. So after spending nearly 10 years in this world, Moka had the mental maturity of a 40 year old man. That coupled with his impressive 6'7 height and his 'Seasoned Warrior' aura, it was only understandable that he seemed older.

The three members of the new happy family hugged each other and made their way into the palace, and set up a wing of the Palace for both Shmi and Anakin. Anakin being adopted was met as even more good news, as at this point it was well known among the House that Anakin had the makings to become a very powerful force user.

Two more weeks pass before Moka hears the news that he has been waiting for. Qui-Gon and the other Jedi have had very successful surgeries and have been cleared by both Jona and Suna De. Making his way down to the hospital with his new son, Anakin, who wore his own little white and blue armor, Moka felt very proud. Anakin was definitely a genius and easily picked up on his Mandalorion training, easily passing his First Hunt with flying colors.

Walking into the hospital and making his way to Qui-Gon's room, Moka was pleasantly surprised to find both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in the room, up and testing their new prosthetics. Their new Kahlium prosthetics looked sleek and powerful, their new limbs even allowing them to feel the sensation of touch, just like their old limbs.

"It's good to see you two up and about. When you're ready, meet me in the courtyard of the hospital. I am about to speak with everyone you two brought from the Jedi Order. Ani," Moka turned to his son and continued, " Stay with them and join them on their way down. I know that you've missed them these last few weeks." Moka said, as he turned and placed a loving hand on the top of Anakin's helmet before he left.

Hearing this, Anakin grew excited and ran into the room and told them everything that has happened while the two were out of commission, surprising the two with all of the changes.

Nearly an hour later, Moka stood in the large, beautiful courtyard of the hospital, that could easily double as a national park. The courtyard was filled with benches, a large serene lake that had a gorgeously sculpted fountain in the middle, as beautiful, colorful flowers planted all around the courtyard that seemed to always stay in full bloom. There was a similar scene in the courtyard of Black Star Palace, only on a grander scale.

The air felt crisp and winter was soon about to take hold of Kahlua, which was an amazing sight to see all of the spectacular flowers and foliage covered in snow and colorful string lights.

In the courtyard in front of Moka sat everyone from came from the Jedi Temple, all wrapped in thick blankets to protect them from the slight chill. "Thank you for joining me today, on this beautiful morning! I know that just a few weeks ago, you all have experienced a great tragedy where you were forced to flee for safety from the Jedi Temple. I know that fleeing must have been difficult, as some lost limbs, loved ones, and even their own lives, all thanks to the treachery of the Army Of Light. But I'm here to tell you they have not won, for you still live!" Moka shouted, riling up the crowd of mixed aged Jedi.

The Younglings weren't quite sure what was happening, but when they saw the older Jedi cheering, they began cheering as well. "I also bring you good news today. Many of those who were injured and even those who have lost their limbs have all been healed, thanks to the masterful skills of the doctors in the capital hospital. Also, I have found and and made contact with the remnants of the Jedi Order!" Moka said, preparing his bait.

At this news, there were many gasps and conflicted feelings. The Jedi Order was their home, but it is no longer safe, as the whole Order has been branded as criminals by the Republic and the Army Of Light. But, ever since they've been on Kahlua, they've had a good life being pampered and free from the Order's strict rules. As if sensing the inner turmoil of all of them there, Moka continued.

"Now, if you wish to go back to the Order, I will personally set up the flight there to get you back to the Order safely. But, if you wish to stay here, I have a proposition for you. I would like you to stay here, on Kahlua, to help me form a new Order. The Templar Order, which is based on True Mandalorian principles of Strength, Loyalty, and Honor. There is no light or dark side, there is only the force. But, unlike the misguided Grey Order, I believe that both the light and the dark side belong to one whole, which is called, Perfect Force." Moka said, shocking many of the older Jedi.

Murmers broke out all across the courtyard as the few hundred Jedi began discussing things, until one curious Jedi raised her hands to ask a question. "King Moka, are you saying you mean to reform the Je'dai? As they too utilized both the light and dark side of the force." asked the female Twi'lek.

Hearing this, Moka grew a smile under his helmet, as he was waiting for one to try to make the comparison. "No, we will not be reforming the Je'dai, as though they were powerful and used both sides of the force, they used both sides as just that, two separate sides. The Templar Order believes in the Perfect Force, where you use and merge both sides of the force to bring it back to a complete whole. There is no light without dark, and vice-versa. Both sides must be at a perfect harmony, as only with Perfect Force, will you have total control over yourself, and the force." Moka said, as he prepared to show off a Perfect Force technique he has been developing.

Holding his hand out, palm facing upwards, Moka conjured a purple flame with silver lightning bolts dancing throughout it. Retracting part of his armor and sticking his arm into the now giant purple flames shooting from his right hand, everyone was surprised to find his arm was not burning. On top of that, the giant, bright purple flames didn't give off an oppressive heat, instead, it seemed to give off a comfortable cold chill.

Everyone, including the Jedi Masters were stunned, as they have never seen such applications of the force, and with such control and presence as well. "This is but a small application of Perfect Force. If you agree, you will become Mandalorions, and join the elite force that will be the Templar Order. No longer will you have to forgo love and emotions like with the Jedi Order, here on Kahlua, we encourage all that are powerful to find love and have children. You won't have to worry about becoming a slave to your emotions and being just a tool for others. Mandalorians hold our loved ones and comrades close to our hearts. We firmly believe in Strength, Honor, and Respect. So, will you free yourselves and become a Templar today?" Moka asked with his hands held out to the crowd in a welcoming manner.

Here it is! The rise of the Templars at last!
