Star space survival

In a messy bedroom with an old single wooden bed and a chair and desk. When the curtains of the window were lifted up due to the air bright sunlight passed through the gap illuminating the room. When the light fell upon the bed a creaking sound came from it, no because of the light but because of the person sleeping on it. After a few minutes, the blanket was pushed away from the bed until it fell on the floor and a young man swayed out of the bed with half-open eyes. He swayed towards the window and opened the window curtains to allow the light to pass inside. After opening the window he went to pick up the fallen blanket and threw it on the bed. Then he leisurely went to the bathroom to brush and bath.

After more than half an hour he came out wiping his hair, after changing into a pair of neat clothes he went to the full body mirror on the wall opposite the bed, except for the clean shining mirror the entire wall was filled with various blueprints, stickers, and some notes of unknown things.

In the mirror, there was the image of an ordinary-looking young man with a height of 180cm and an aesthetic physique. Heart-shaped face with black hair and black sharp eyes. While he was busy grooming his hair a voice came from outside,

"James, are you awake? hurry up and come down, breakfast is ready."

Hearing the voice James hurriedly searched around the room and picked up a black backpack he hurriedly put the slim white-colored tablet on the desk in the bag, and a toolbox containing some study tools. Then he took the skateboard placed alongside the desk and hurried out of the room.

Outside the room were the living and a joint dining room, currently a female in her 40s was placing the served breakfast on the dining table while a man in his 40s sat on the main chair, seeing James coming down both of them showed a kind smile,

"Goodmorning mom"

"Goodmorning dad". These were James's parents.

Claire, a 39-year-old housewife. And Lucas a 41-year-old, working as a sales manager in the cities biggest supermarket. A three-person middle-class family.

After James hurriedly ate his breakfast he was ready to go for the university.

When he came out of the house there was a small corridor leading to the escalator in the front while on both sides were apartments. Their building had a total of 170 levels, from zero to 150 each level had a total of 7 apartments. Jame's home was on the 60th level.

When he entered the escalator there were buttons for all the 170 levels he directly pressed the button for zero levels. As soon as he clicked the button the door was closed and the escalator went rapidly from 60 to zero level in a few seconds of time without affecting the person inside.

After the door of the escalator opened James went out, after descending few steps outside the building he came to the road, there were many high-rise buildings in any direction one can see, there were even building higher than the one James stayed in. He waited for the signal lights to change to red and then crossed the road and came to the footpath, along the footpath all the lower floors of the buildings were converted into various stores, contrary to the stores on Earth the things here were more high tech and odd. There was a pet shop with a griffin, a golden bird with shining feather, the clothes store had a virtual mirror outside the store where customers can try few outfits on the showcase for free, in the tech store various high tech gadgets can be seen such as a hovering surfer similar to the silver surfer, there was even few robot shop with household robots and fancy mechs for fun use.

James didn't seem to be bothered by all these things as he put his skateboard down and hurried toward one direction, the scenery kept changing around him as he sped up.

The world James lives in is Earth a few hundred years in the future. In this world, human technology has made many breakthroughs and reached an unbelievable level.

With development, the hierarchical gap between the rich and poor has also increased to the point of forming a rift in between. The rich keep getting richer while the poor are either exterminated, have to accept the superiority of the rich and work for them or fight to get a place between them. The current Earth and the nearby galaxies are completely controlled by humans, humans have long broken their shackles and have become an interstellar race.

Many new secrets were revealed, many encounters with foreign races led to the unification of the human race, few races built friendly relations while most races opt for war. Being an interstellar race for just a few hundred years humans are despised by the higher-level races. There are even a few races who have ruled space for millions of years.
