Great Start

With a small spin, the gift opened. There was a bright light from the box for few seconds which illuminated the surrounding a little bit, then there was dark again.

But there was something at James fit, when he looked at it he was a bit confused. After observing it carefully he knew that it was actually a shovel.

The flat part of the shovel was made of a bright red shining material, while the handle was made of an unknown metal. When James bent down to pick up the shovel he found that the flat part of the shovel was illuminating a certain area around his feet. To watch more carefully he bent down and was surprised to find that the entire floor was made up of shining crystal-like ice surface.

'So this was the reason why I am feeling cold here?'

He hurriedly picked up the shovel and used it as a torch to observe the surrounding ground. And as he has thought he was standing on a layer of ice, or this whole cave might be made up of ice.

In short, he was transported into a closed ice cellar!

Thinking about this James was sweating even in this cold environment. But then he thought about what the system had said while giving the gift. He thought about the shovel which seems to be the gift and carefully observed it, from the looks it seemed to be of higher level. When he looked at it there was a notification from the system,

{Fire Shovel: Rare

Element: Fire

Note: It has a high amount of fire element and can be used to dig through ice easily, it can also be used as a source of heat.

Modifications:

3).....

Upgrade

Dark elemental shovel(epic): The scale used for forging the shovel belongs to an infant fire dragon with a small amount of dark dragon blood. If the dark element can be strengthened the fire element in the shovel can mutate into a purgatory fire element. (Materials: Eleven life wood, young fire dragon blood, young black dragon blood, water dragon's scale,...)(10,000points)}

A lot of information was presented in front of James, seeing the level and quality of the shovel there was already happiness bursting out of James. But something else caught his attention most, the modification and upgrade tabs of the system.

According to what he knew this world was more than 90% game like but there was still a huge restriction in it, firstly there has been no one who can so easily change the quality of any tool. Only a few great races with thousands of years of knowledge can do that, but they also had the restriction of materials and techniques.

But with the help of the system, James can easily do this, and he can do this in an instant with the help of the system while others had to do it manually.

This ability alone can help him reach the top of the food chain in a few dozen years. Because even though there are blueprints available for anything in this world one had to either pay a huge price to the game panel to create it or make it manually. This can be ok for the beginning but considering the high-tech instruments, it was impossible.

While he was dreaming of ruling the world by upgrading and selling high-quality tools and instruments infinitely there were new notifications from the system pouring cold water on his plans,

{Request to the host,

Please select the time for distributing daily points.

These points will be required for everything the system does.}

Seeing this James was a bit disappointed but still, this was better than nothing.

He didn't think much and directly select the current time for daily checkout.

{Ding Dong

Today's daily checkout is received.

There is a novice pack for the first day of 100 points.}

After the notification he saw a new dropdown in the system panel which showed the point he had, currently, there were 100points.

'I will have to carefully spend these points in the future.'

After thinking about everything a little bit he had few plans to follow. The first thing he needed to do was find a way to receive a large number of resources and also a good place to lay down the safe house.

There is only one way to pass the novice teat and that is to upgrade the safe house into a self-sustainable base that can survive in the Star Space. This is because the last level of the test has always been the destruction of the planet.

James took a deep breath and sat down placing the shovel beside him, in this kind of closed place it is important to reduce the consumption of oxygen as much as possible. He then opened the chat panel again to find any clue.

"Hey, is there anybody who can provide me with a weapon? I can trade it with a cup noddle."

"100 ml mineral water: 10xwood, 10x iron."

"Guys, I am spawned in a dense forest with huge trees, though I have found a decent amount of food and basic materials I don't know why there is no water here."

"Yeah, I have been searching this plains full of green grass and flowers for such a long time but didn't find any water source. What makes me confused is where do these plains gain the water."

Seeing the messages James was also confused to know that there was not a small amount of water on this planet. Though such a thing is not impossible in the Star Space considering the lava sea and plant world like things where previous people were spawned.

Except for a few people who might have received a small amount of water from the novice pack others were in great need of it.

While thinking he looked down and had a brilliant idea, what if he can melt this ice he can get a huge amount of water and then trade it for other resources.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
