The surprise

James woke up from his sleep after an unknown amount of time.

His eyes were still a bit blurry due to sleep, after stretching his body he got out of the silicon beds and went out of the pit.

Warming some Ice into the water he took an ordinary water bath. After completing the cleaning work he was still in a leisurely mood as he slowly cooked the food and gulped down the food without leaving anything.

After completing everything he went to the pit, when he saw the bottom filled with silicon he came to a realization of what happened before he slept.

Remembering everything he had an excited expression on his face as he hurriedly stored the silicon in the storage revealing the bone-like surface below.

He went below to have a closer look, he remembers that when he lost consciousness there was a small piece of the surface he was able to break out.

Checking the surface carefully he found the place where he had worked and a very small dent of 5-6cm.

'What is this thing that even the fire pickaxe can't break it open.'

With a lot of curiosity, he took out the broken piece from the storage space.

It was a thumb-sized small piece. He was feeling a bit nervous now that he thought about it, today was the last day of the novice protection period. Previously the system didn't recognize the things under the surface.

He was nervous that if the system doesn't recognize the things now too then he was doomed for sure.

Because he neither had the time nor the strength to dig anymore. This might be an opportunity for him or a dead end.

With a heavy heart, James focused his attention on the small piece in his hands.

As if feeling James' confusion the system explained him going out of its usual way.

{Titan Whale:

A mutated species created by the God of Ocean 'Poseidon'. It was created for carrying the underwater cities of the ocean races. It has a very huge space inside the body. When a Titan Whale becomes an adult it will absorb all the flesh and organs inside its body into the heart and will create a huge empty space inside. It also gains bone armor under the skin increasing the defense to a huge extent.}

'Woah, what the heck.'

The systems explanation explained many things about this Whale.

What surprised James the most though was the point that it can carry an entire city inside itself. From this one can imagine how big this whale should be in reality.

'So this was the surprise the system talked about?'

James thought with an odd expression.

Even though this thing can be considered a treasure but for James now this was just a burden. He didn't have use of this thing now.

When James was thinking about what should he do about this he had a thought in his mind. A foolish thought.

'If this whale is so huge how much meat should it contain. Maybe this was what the system was indicating?'

Thinking such he directly contacted the Magma guy and trade a lot of Magma slime.

He first cleared the Ice around the bone revealing a small part of the bone, it was so big that even though he successfully cleaned a small part of it he was not able to recognize it. But he was able to find a corner around the bone where the surface looked darker in color and had some muscle-like texture.

Seeing this James was excited and hurriedly cleared the Ice.

After a lot of hard work, the frozen meat was revealed, but James was no more as excited as before because this meat looked anything but edible.

Seeing this he was completely disappointed and walked out of the pit. He was no more in the mood to explore further.

Coming to the farms outside he sat under the fungus with a disappointed look.

'Is this the end? Even with the system am I going to fail here?'

'May I was the wrong person chosen for this. If only I had taken other decisions maybe the outcome would have been better.'

He had much self-blaming thought in his mind, for the first time since he transmigrated he felt so low in confidence. The future seemed bleak.

While James was mourning his misfortune, the world outside was going through tremendous changes.

On a vast plain, there were many players distributed in different places around the plains, there were freestone houses, wooden houses, underground houses, treehouses. These were all different types of safe houses chosen by the players.

The always calm plains were suddenly disturbed by heavy winds. The trees and grass swayed around the wind.

The same scene can be seen everywhere. The rainforests, deserts, and other places with surviving players.
