Spice and Witches

In the middle of the night, throughout the dark forest could be heard the sounds of horse galloping and the sounds of wooden wheels clashing with the dirt. If one listened closely it could also be heard the faint sounds of people having conversations.

"Your highness, please let me drive the wagon, you already look so tired."

"Don't worry about me, you girls should have your beauty sleep, and please don't call me King or your highness anymore. Now I am just a mere peddler traveling the world looking for a small profit."

The one who starts the conversation is a lady with cascading down blond hair and mature charming face. She sits inside the carriage. And the one who answered is a man with white hair and pale skins. From some wrinkles appearing in his face, one could guess the man's age is around 40. He sit in front of the carriage holding the rope controlling the two horses.

After hearing the answer, the lady replies.

"But for me you always be the king forever, and why do we need looking for money? Graycastle treasuries are part of yours anyway."

The man gives a faint smile.

"It might be fine when you call me the king in this quiet forest right now. But what will happen if you said it in front of customers or market sellers? They might realize who I am and then want to buy the goods in higher prices or sell their goods in lower prices. Even give them for free.

Altough it won't ruin the market system in large scale, I just don't want them to suffer a loss. And what the use of wimbledon treasuries right now? We have traveled for several months, and already so far away from the castle."

Just after the man finished, the lady retorts.

"But we do have the device that could be use to communicate far away, what do you call it? Telephone?"

The man could hear the howling sounds of wolfs from afar. He whips the ropes to make the horses run a bit faster, then replies.

"Well, the telephone is using AM radio signals, we can only use it around 100 miles from the castle, and even if at nights the signals could travel further because of skywave propagation. I don't think the signal could reach this place."

The lady doesn't get what's the man talking about.

".... what?"

The man laughs a little, and turns his face into the carriage. He then points his finger to a lady with flaxen hair sleeping soundly.

"Anyway, it's already past midnight, just go to sleep already. Take example of Anna. She already slept hours ago. If I am too tired I will stop the wagon and wake Anna up to replace me."

The lady lies down her body on a soft cushion, then looks up countless bright stars in the sky.

"Hmm, okay. But somehow lately when I close my eyes I always reminisce all of our sisters in the union back home. Guess I already miss them so much, especially sister Wendy. Wonder how she is doing right now. Hope she doesn't get overwork being the new king's advisor. "

She stops a bit and take a breath.

"But I also really enjoy the moments right now. Travelling together with you and sister Anna alone. No need to worry about the kingdom politics anymore. No need to worry about churches and the demons anymore. More importantly no need to worry that you will be getting hurt anymore."

After he couldn't hear the sounds of wolfs anymore. The man pulls the ropes to slow the horses down and gazes upward.

"Yeah I also love this new peaceful era. The chuches and the demons were already destroyed long time ago. Now I just hope that no other conflict could ruin Graycastle. But I believe with the help of Wendy, he will be a good king."

The lady anwers while yawning.

"Yeah, I also believe he would be a good king. He had already received wendy and other sisters teaching and care since baby. Even, I, Ashes, and Lorgar have taught him how to fight properly. But to be honest I always wonder, isn't he too young to be a king?"

The man answers doubtlessly.

"I think 18 is old enough to be a king. Even back then I was in my early 20's when I became a king. But he now has Wendy and others witch's sisters to help him, so I am pretty relax about this actually. And I have also been too tired to be a king of graycastle for nearly 20 years, now is the era of Cielo Wimbledon"
