The Beginning

Diesel's fighting style was slowly developing towards fighting these droids after weeks and weeks of attacks on the droids. He was able to time the shots it took for the tanks to reload in between shots. Also, understanding the weakness to the droidekas he slowly prepared the resistance to fight against the Trade Federation. Right now though the droids had Five tanks and two-hundred droids assaulting the center of the bunker. He stood in the center of hundreds of already destroyed droids, this current set would be the fifth wave they pushed back. His shields were nearly depleted at twenty percent. If he gave up and retreated here thousands of Naboo's would perish and the promise he made to the Queen would have been for nothing.

*FLASHBACK During Queen Amidala Coronation*

"Diesel, I know you have a high sense of responsibility and wish to return the favor for me helping save your life. There just isn't a need for it just live freely."

"Denied. Ma'am I will make it up to you and your people." She shakes her head figuring out what she could say to such a stubborn man.

"Fine, if me or my people ever need your help, come and protect us saving as many as you can." The words she said at the time. Changed Diesel instead of being a deadly super soldier whose only thought was killing the enemies of UNSC. He became more relaxed and eventually became a trainer for the Royal Guard increasing their overall abilities eventually earning him the right to be a guard. He isolated himself on the training guard where only a select few would participate. He felt the need to do whatever he could for the future.

*Flashback End*

"Ril'ah hand me that rocket"

"BUT Sir, there are only two shots!"

"Trust me, it'll be plenty have the men focus on infantry." Reaching over grabbing the Rocket Launcher from Ril'ah. He turns back towards the five tanks putting the rocket onto his back before pulling out his Modified Battle Rifle and begins to sprint towards them. He began by destroying the front line of the droids, dwindling what little numbers he could, before taking continuous firing from the tanks, two of the shots completely missed while the third and forth were dodge by the speed of the Spartan.

The droids have been fighting Diesel non-stop for the past few weeks, calculating the patterns he would use to dodge. They figured by baiting the first four shots they could use the fifth to land a direct hit on him and just like they predicted the first four all missed, and with the timing of the fifth it landed directly in front of diesel forcing him a few feet causing him to do a backwards barrel roll with him landing onto his feet. He immediately switches over to the rocket launcher firing both shots, knocking out a tank per rocket. He rushes behind one of the now destroyed tanks, lobbing his remaining smoke grenades over to block the tanks vision as much as possible.

Suddenly, he jumps out of the smoke right in front of one of the tanks, forcing it to fire another round completely missing Diesel and landing on the other remaining tank on the other side of the smoke. Diesel turns and throws thermal detonators into the tube of another tank, blowing the tube completely destroying the barrel of the tank as it attempts to fire another shot.

The last tank halts and starts to retreat, Diesel deciding it would be best to finish the last tank gave chase. At this point, a ship was coming into the view in the direction the tank was heading, popped open its hatch releasing three heavily armored individuals using jet packs. The three of them launched wrist rockets into the final tank. Stopping Diesel in his tracks as the final tank exploded in front of him. He looked at his shield, noticing he only had roughly three percent left. With the now retreating droid army the resistance decided to fall back to the bunker and await the arrival of its new visitors.
