Rebirth Into Darkness

Kyle Johnson was a nineteen-year-old Caucasian young man with an athletic build and unruly brown hair. He had bright blue eyes that contrasted with his lightly tanned skin, and a charming smile that drew attention from the fairer sex. Growing up in a middle-class family, Kyle had always been known for his good looks, and as he entered his freshman year at a prestigious college, his confidence and charisma had only grown.

Kyle had never been short of female companionship, having always been surrounded by girls in his high school. However, college offered a new and exciting environment, with a higher female to male ratio and even more beautiful women to admire. This newfound freedom and excitement fueled a burning desire in Kyle to explore his sexuality and take full advantage of all that college had to offer.

As a result, Kyle became known as the guy who was always up for a good time. He was friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in getting to know people. His good looks and charming personality made it easy for him to meet girls, but he found himself drawn to a particular type: confident, sexy women who knew what they wanted and weren't afraid to go after it.

One such woman was Sarah, a stunning brunette who lived in the dorm across the hall from Kyle. Sarah was tall, with dark hair that flowed down her back and sparkling green eyes that seemed to pierce through Kyle's soul. She was confident and outgoing, with a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor. Kyle had been drawn to her from the moment they met, and over the past few weeks, they had been spending more and more time together.

On this particular evening, Kyle found himself in Sarah's dorm room, nervously pacing back and forth as he waited for her to finish getting changed. They had been flirting all evening, and Kyle could feel the tension building between them. He knew that tonight was the night, and he was both excited and terrified at the prospect.

As Sarah emerged from her bedroom, Kyle's heart skipped a beat. She was wearing a lacy black bra and matching underwear, and she looked sexier than ever. Kyle felt his palms grow sweaty as he approached her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close.

'Hey there,' he whispered, his voice husky with desire. 'You look incredible.'

Sarah smiled, running her fingers through Kyle's hair. 'You don't look so bad yourself,' she replied, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Kyle leaned in, pressing his lips to Sarah's in a passionate kiss. He could feel her body molding to his, and he knew that he had to have her.

As they began to undress each other, the room shook violently, sending books and papers flying every which way. Kyle and Sarah broke apart, startled by the sudden movement.

'What the hell was that?' Sarah exclaimed, her eyes wide with fear.

'I don't know,' Kyle replied, his heart pounding in his chest. 'It felt like an earthquake.'

The room shook again, this time even more violently. Kyle stumbled, struggling to keep his balance as Sarah screamed.

'We have to get out of here!' she yelled, grabbing her clothes and rushing towards the door.

Kyle followed close behind, his heart racing as he tried to make sense of what was happening. The hallway outside Sarah's dorm room was filled with smoke and debris, and the sound of sirens filled the air.

As they stumbled towards the stairwell, the building shook once more, and Kyle felt a sudden, sharp pain in his chest. He stumbled, falling to the ground as Sarah screamed.

'Kyle! Oh my god, Kyle!'

Kyle could feel himself slipping away, his vision growing blurry as his consciousness faded. He could hear Sarah's voice, frantic and panicked, as she tried to revive him.

'Please, Kyle, don't leave me. Stay with me!'

But it was too late. Kyle felt himself being pulled into the darkness, his life slipping away as the earthquake raged around him.

The world spun. A kaleidoscope of crimson and black, an overwhelming cacophony of buzzing, crackling energy. Then, silence. Kyle, or at least he thought he was Kyle, lay on a bed of rough, cold sand, a strange numbness coursing through his limbs.

He tried to sit up, a sharp pain shooting through his head. Disoriented and confused, he looked around. A desolate landscape stretched before him, barren and red, bathed in the harsh glare of two suns. Giant, skeletal structures, remnants of an ancient civilization, loomed against the fiery sky. A wind, carrying the smell of burning sulfur, whipped at his clothes.

In The Old Republic...

"Where… where am I?" he croaked, his voice raspy and unfamiliar.

A low, metallic whir sounded beside him. He turned to see a squat, metallic droid with red-glowing eyes, standing silently. The droid's eyes seemed to bore into him, studying him intently.

"You are on Korriban, young one. World of the Sith." The droid spoke in a synthesized voice, its metallic tones surprisingly smooth.

Kyle blinked, his mind trying to grasp the words. "Sith? But… I…"

"You are no longer the one you once were, you are no longer a jedi." The droid's voice held a strange, almost mournful tone. "You are a Sith now. A warrior of the Dark Side."

A wave of nausea swept over Kyle. This whole situation was too much to comprehend. And he was a Sith? He, who had spent his college years chasing parties and trying to impress girls? The thought was both terrifying and exhilarating.

He tried to stand, but the droid spoke again, a metallic hand extended. "Rest, young one. Your body is still… fragile."

Kyle looked down at his hands, his fingers twitching. He felt different, stronger, with a raw power pulsing beneath his skin. He closed his eyes, focusing on the feeling.

The droid's voice, a mere whisper in his mind, guided him. "Reach out, young one. Feel the Dark Side. Let it flow through you."

He felt a darkness seep into him, a surge of energy, raw and untamed, like a wild beast unleashed. It felt alien and dangerous, yet strangely intoxicating. He felt his mind expand, his senses sharpening.

"Good. You are learning. Now, rise." The droid's voice sounded pleased.

Kyle stood up, his body aching. He looked at his hands, now seemingly larger, stronger. He felt a surge of power, a strange new confidence. A faint, red glow emanated from his skin, highlighting his veins.

"You are a Force-wielder now. A Sith," the droid said, its tone matter-of-fact. 'But you are still raw, untrained. You need to learn. Follow me."

The droid led him to a clearing, the wind whipping around them. In the center lay a pile of metal scrap. The droid gestured towards it.

"This is your training ground, young one. This is your first lesson."

Kyle glanced at the scrap metal, then back at the droid. "What do I do?"

"Pick up that piece of scrap metal." The droid pointed to a piece of twisted metal lying amongst the debris. "Then… feel the Force. Let it flow through you, and use it to make it… disappear."

Kyle stared, unsure. He had never considered himself the 'Force-wielding' type. In his college life, the closest he had ever gotten to using the Force was the occasional, desperate plea to get his friends to join him for another night out.

"Do it, young one." The droid's voice was barely a whisper, yet it commanded him.

Hesitantly, Kyle stepped forward. He felt the Force, a current of chaotic energy flowing through him. His mind focused, and he reached out with his will. He felt the metal, cold and heavy in his hand. He closed his eyes, willing it to vanish. A surge of energy erupted from him.

The scrap metal vanished.

Kyle looked down at his hand, then back at the clearing. No metal. He was stunned. He had done it. He, Kyle, a college student who hadn't even been able to manage his own time properly, just... vanished metal with the Force.

The droid's red eyes blinked. "Good. You are learning. But you have much to learn. There is much to master."

The droid moved towards a nearby wall where a lightsaber, its blade deactivated, lay propped against a rock.

"This is a lightsaber, a tool of the Sith. Master its power, and you will become a true Sith warrior."

Kyle watched in awe as the droid demonstrated the lightsaber's basic mechanics. As he practiced wielding the metal training blade, he learned to feel the Force flow through him, directing every movement, every swing. He practiced for hours until he was exhausted, but the droid didn't stop.

"You are a Sith, young one. There is no room for weakness. You must train, constantly," the droid said, its voice devoid of empathy.

Finally, the droid gave a signal, stopping Kyle's practice. "You have shown potential, young one. But you are still a novice. You need a master."

Kyle stood, aching but strangely invigorated. "A master?"

"Yes. There are few who can teach you the ways of the Sith. But you will find one soon enough." The droid paused, waiting for Kyle to ask his next question.

But Kyle didn't. He already knew.

From afar, a dark figure approached. He saw the Sith Lord, a being shrouded in darkness, his presence emanating a chilling power.

The droid's voice, a whisper in Kyle's mind, confirmed his thoughts. "This is Darth Jadus. He is your master."

Darth Jadus stopped before Kyle, his eyes piercing, his voice a low rumble. "So, the boy awakens."

"I… I don't understand," Kyle stammered, his voice trembling.

Darth Jadus chuckled, a chilling sound. "You will learn, boy. You will learn everything."

He turned to the droid. "Leave us. He is mine now."

The droid whirred, its red eyes turning to Kyle one last time, before disappearing into the swirling dust.

Darth Jadus grabbed Kyle's arm, his grip strong and cold. "Come, apprentice."

Kyle felt a wave of unease wash over him. He was no longer Kyle. He was a Sith. And he was about to be taught the ways of the Sith by a being who exuded unimaginable power. His journey had just begun. The path ahead was dark and dangerous, and Kyle, now Darth Krayt, was ready to embrace it.
