"So tell me when did you get back from States?" Mo Hua asked while sipping her caramel latte slowly.

"Two weeks ago." He said while looking at Mo Hua lovingly.

"What? 2 weeks!! So why didn't you call me? No one informed me that you are back? Why? Seems like I will have to take a class of Uncle Chen and Aunt Chen along with my parents..." Mo Hua scolded him with a sad face.

"Hold your horses milady... I am the one to be blamed here. I asked them to not tell you as i wanted to surprise you." He replied the moment he saw Mo Hua grabbing her cellphone to scold her and his parents.

"Pig.. So what took you so long to come and meet me?" She snorted angrily at him.

"Sorry sweetie, I wanted to meet you immediately when i came back but dad was hospitalized due to high blood pressure so had to stay back."

"What? Uncle Chen was hospitalized? How is he now?" said with worry filled voice. Uncle Chen was like a father to her and thinking him unwell made her worry for him.

"Don't worry he is doing okay now. It was nothing major. Also I made the doctors run full body check up on mom and dad. Everything is normal." He tried to calm down her worries.

Looking at her calmed emotions, he continued, "MoMo I dragged Uncle and Aunt Mo for health check up as well. I hope you don't mind.."

"Why would I? They anyways listen to you more and I am happy that they agreed. I am always worried for their health and asked them to get a routine check up done. But they never listen to me." replied with a warm smile on her face.

She felt happy that Liam was so considerate towards her and her family. He always treated her parents very well just like his.

"Yes. and I showed their reports to the doctor as well. Aunt Chen is perfectly fine but there is a little bit of cholesterol issues for Uncle Chen but nothing major. He is taking prescribed medicines and dad is making uncle exercise daily. So please don't worry at all." even though her parents had requested him to not disclose this trivial issue to Mo Hua as she will panic, still he told her everything as she had the right to know about her father.

Listening to him, Mo Hua felt a bit panic for her father's health but when she heard that he took care of them and arranged everything already made her feel relaxed.

"Thanks Liam. I am really grateful to have a best friend like you. What would I do without you?" She grabbed his hand and thanked him. She was feeling indebted to him for all these years when he stood by her side or helped her.

"So marry me and be with me forever. You will not have to worry about managing things without me then.." he said with slight teasing in his tone.

"CHEN LIAM... Stop puking nonsense. I don't like such kind of jokes.." she retorted back and thought 'Did he forget why i didn't speak to him for so many years?'

"Hehehe, sorry sorry i won't tease you again so forget it now." he said trying to control the situation.

How can he forget that bad day when he almost lose her. Now he was not going to repeat the same mistake again. Plus things were different now....

What different? time will only tell...

"You better not." she sighed in relief and remembering something she questioned him, "I forgot to ask. What are you doing in my university?"

"Actually i had planned to graduate from my previous university in Sates but looking at the fact that Mom Dad need me more now given Mom's illness, I decided to stay back and graduate from Beijing University."

Chen Liam's mom was diagnosed with brain tumor two years ago and was under treatment since then. Due to the University rule he was studying in States, he couldn't transfer himself to any other university before the last year so he waited till he entered last year of his graduation to get transferred.

"What? Really? Its so amazing.. Liam we will again be in same college now. I missed our old school and college days. We will have one hell of a fun." Mo Hua screamed in joy.

Chen Liam and Mo Hua spent few more minutes chatting with each other. They had a lot to catch up with each other but decided to end their meeting today as Mo Hua had an errand to run.

Chen Liam was feeling dishearten to part ways so soon but without any argument agreed to Mo Hua when she said, "Liam, let's meet tomorrow for lunch @11am. I need to head out now."

He sadly said,"Okay sweetie. Will pick you up at 11am tomorrow. Bye for now."

"Aren't you coming back to university?" she inquired when she noticed gloominess on his face.

"Naah.. you head back first. I need to meet a friend here in sometime so i will stay back." He replied to her instantly.

"Okay then. Take care. Bye." with that Mo Hua left the cafe excited to meet Yan Xuan.

Poor her, she didn't knew a storm was waiting for her and only she had the ability to control that storm. But how???

She walked hurriedly and reached her dorm room where she saw all her friends waiting for her impatiently.

Seeing her arriving, Li Mei wailed pointing towards Mo Hua, "She is here."

Xi Mian and XiXi covered their ears the instant they heard Li Mei screaming and said," LiLi, What the hell....." but then both scowled at the person who arrived late.

"MoMo, look at the time.. its 6.35pm already. You are late." Xi Mian scolded her like a mom scolding a child who is late for his exams.

"MoMo, here we are so excited for your date and look at you still standing there listening to our jibber-jabber."

Mo Hua was amused by her friends excitement and she really felt happy that she had her friends who cared for her so much.

"I am sorry. Now let me get ready." Mo Hua decided not to argue with her friends as they were caring for her and decided to focus on getting ready for tonight's date.

She rushed towards her wardrobe to grab the bag of dress that she bought today and went inside the washroom to get changed.

When she changed and came outside, Xi Mian was getting her shoes out while XiXi was getting her handbag ready and Li Mei was preparing for her makeup.

"Girls, please stop making it so extravagant. Its just a date." Mo Hua sighed helplessly at her friends actions.

"Yes MoMo that's what we want to tell you. It's not just a date. its a a DATE..... your first date... that too with the Yan Xuan.. So show some excitement atleast for us..." XiXi chided at Mo Hua's calm demanour.

"MoMo you have no idea how many girls will be heartbroken if you get together with Yan Xuan. Many are dying to be with him and he is dying to be with you.. But look at you..."

Mo Hua nodded her head helplessly and sat in front of the dresser to get her makeup done.

It was almost 6.50pm and only 10mins left for Yan Xuan to come pick her up for their date.

"My gosh.. MoMo you are looking like a fairy descended from heaven. I wish if i can turn into a boy and snatch you from Yan Xuan..." XiXi acted like dying from heartache by keeping her hand on her heart.

"hehehe.." Xi Mian and Li Mei giggled looking at XiXi's overreaction.

Mo Hua was wearing her heels when her phone started ringing. Her heart started thumping loudly when she saw Yan Xuan's name flashing on the screen. Her heart was feeling flustered with anticipation of their date.

She received the call and heard a low husky voice,"Waiting for you eagerly. Come downstairs soon."

"Hmmmn" she replied and disconnected the call with a crimson red hue painted on her beautiful face.
