Jordan and I had barely said two words to each other the entire way back to the hotel. I think neither of us was sure what to say.

Nothing would have made a difference now. 

It was over.

The first thing he did when we got back was to arrange for his plane to leave for New York first thing in the morning. 

I felt sick to my stomach. Being in the same room as him and not being able to talk.

This wasn't how I imagined this trip would be like. The most romantic city in the world and here I was, lying in the bed all by myself while Jordan slept on the couch, trying not to cry and failing. Silent tears continued to stream down my cheeks no matter how many times I asked myself to stop.

'We need to stop this' 

The sound of my voice resonated inside my head.
