"I think you're in the wrong room."
Alreign rested his hand and approached Gab. "I heard a shout from that room."
"Yes. Don't worry, I already sent a nurse for the patient," Gab replied, then he glanced at the ward on his left. "Are you done?"
"Hmm," Alreign said, opening the old man's ward, and then he looked at Gab. "See for yourself."
Gab entered the ward and checked the old man's heartbeat. It wasn't as weak as before—it was beating normally.
Gab looked at Alreign in disbelief. "You know, I haven't recovered from your resurrection yet. Now, I have to process this."
Alreign looked away and said, "I was like that before."
Gab put his stethoscope around his neck and faintly sighed as he sat on the couch beside the hospital bed. "Well, it looks like we already know what the outcome of our deal will be."
"I'm not starting yet."
"Yeah, but you can just magically heal them," Gab replied to Alreign, then he stood up and stretched his arms. "I'll draft your recommendation."
Alreign's face lit up, and he delightfully stared at Gab. "Really?"
"I'm not the kind of man who takes back his words. Also, I will just draft it. The real thing will be after the operation," Gab said, then walked ahead. Alreign followed him with a wide smile on his lips.
"Thank you!"

Alreign read the names of the patients. He didn't bother to look at their conditions since he could heal them no matter how severe they were.
He sorted them out and pasted a piece of paper in the right-side corner of the records, where the schedule of their operation was written.
Alreign halted as he realized these operations; it must have scars or signs of stitches.
Knowing his ability, he could just heal the patients without doing any surgical procedure, but it would also be questionable if he didn't leave any incisions in the patients.
Alreign massaged his forehead; this was his other dilemma. "What should I do?"
Alreign slumped on Gab's office couch and covered his face with his right elbow.
"Should I cut them first and then heal? But I could heal them after no matter what. The cut will be useless," Alreign whispered to himself.
He swiftly sat properly and took a piece of paper and a pen, then he started scribbling something while mumbling, "Plan for the surgery of Patient #1."
"What are you doing?" Gabe entered the office with a bag of soft drinks in his left hand and a bucket of fried chicken in his right.
"Nothing," Alreign replied without looking at Gabe. His face formed a stressed expression every time he crossed out what he was writing.
Gabe was just peacefully observing him while reading the crossed-out words on the paper. He looked at Alreign with his right brow raised in confusion. "What's with those weird words?"
Alreign halted, then he instantly picked up the piece of paper and hid it behind him as he realized what Gabe said. "I told you it's nothing! Why are you reading them?"
He hadn't told Gabe yet about his ability. He also asked Gabriel to keep it for himself for a while, just until he successfully won their deal.
"I don't know. Maybe a habit? I'm always watching you write your reports before, though." Gabe leaned to the couch and rested his head on the headrest. "Why are you so stressed about those patients? You're a good doctor; you can do it."
Alreign looked away. He didn't know how to respond to that compliment, as he felt flattered. "I'm not that good."
"Hey. Be confident! Do you remember the patient that your colleagues gave up because they thought the surgery was too risky and complicated?" Gabe asked.
Alreign nodded as a response. "I remembered him."
"You're the only doctor who took the risk because of that soft heart of yours; you couldn't ignore the patient's parents bawling their eyes out and begging the hospital to treat their precious son," Gabe continued.
"His surgery was successful, right? And it was because of you that he was alive and healthy somewhere."
Alreign fell into deep thought as he processed Gabe's words. "I am a good doctor. I should be confident."
Alreign put down his pen and genuinely smiled as he looked into Gabe's eyes. "You're right."
Alreign crumpled the paper he was holding and said, "I'm a doctor. I must never forget it. I may have an unusual ability to treat, but I could treat patients before as well."
Alreign stood up and took a deep sigh. "Thank you for saying those words, Gabe. Now I have answers. I'm a doctor; I could treat them even without using magic!"
Gabe confusedly looked at Alreign. His forehead knitted as he heard the word'magic'. "Damn, bro. You're weirder than Gab today."
