"Wait. Wait. I don't understand. You dreamt about who?" Gab massaged his forehead as he tried to analyze what just Alreign said to him.
"I dreamt about that man I brought here. And last night, I dreamt about an old man that was also confined here. That's why I wanted to check that room because you mentioned his name earlier. I want to confirm my dream."
"Mentioned his name?" Gab asked to clarify, to which Alreign responded with a nod. "You dreamt about his name too?"
"Yes. Will you let me now?" Alreign asked politely with that pleading gaze.
Gab fell silent for a moment. "What will you do if I let you?"
"I'll heal him. You saw how I treated you," Alreign responded, which gave Gab a deep thought.
Gabriel looked in the ward's direction, then he looked back at Alreign. "Do you want to be alone, or do you want someone with you?"
"I prefer to be alone."
Gabriel nodded at Alreign, then led him to the room.
"Call me if you're done," Gabriel said as he opened the door, revealing the skinny old man on the bed.
Alreign couldn't utter a word as he saw the old man's face—he was indeed the old man he saw in his dream.
Alreign looked at Gabriel and nodded as a confirmation. "It was him. Thank you."
Alreign then slowly closed the door. Gab sighed in relief as he turned around to go back to his office, but he halted when he saw Gabe at the elevator's entrance.
"I saw Alreign just—" Gabriel cut off Gabe's sentence, then he pushed him back inside the elevator with him.
"Don't talk here. He might hear you," Gab said as he pressed the 1st floor button.
"I thought you didn't want him to see his father yet?" Gabe asked in confusion after the elevator's door closed.
"Yes, but it wasn't his father's room. He was in the next room," Gab replied.
Meanwhile, Alreign checked the old man's condition's severity by putting his hand on top of his chest.
"Who are you?" The old man asked in a weak voice. His eyes were half-closed, trying to recognize Alreign's figure.
Alreign just smiled as he started to heal him. "I'm a doctor. Don't worry, you'll be okay soon."
The old man felt a sense of relief as he heard Alreign's words. A sweet smile instantly formed on his dry lips. "Thank you. My son is waiting for me."
"I know. You'll meet him very soon," Alreign reassured.
Alreign saw how the color red turned blue and later turned green around the old man; thereafter, he knew his treatment was done.
He sighed in relief as he looked at the old man, who was now peacefully sleeping. "Take care, Mr. Aguillera."
Alreign left the ward and was about to go back to Gab's office, but he was paused as he heard a shout in the next room.
He looked around for a doctor or nurse to inform them about the shout, but no one was around except for other patients who were walking while dragging their dextrose stands.
Alreign decided to walk towards the next ward and was about to open the door, but he heard Gab call his name, who was now walking in his direction.
"I think you're in the wrong room."
