~Jack POV~

Sitting in silence for a bit as I let the finish there thinking it was Glynda to point out the issue of this, "Sigh… as much as I don't like the idea of Ozpin letting an untrained especially a civilian enter the Academy do you have a place to stay?"

Flinching at that I shook my head at this making her frown.

Ozpin was next to talk to me in a calm tone as he spoke to everyone in the room, "In that case with your amnesia problem it would be hard to find a home. And I doubt any Lien you have would be enough to stay for a few days. After all, Beacon starts in about a few days from now."

So that's how long it will take for the plot to begin huh?

Although he does have a point earning money would be hard and without any ID would be even harder for me to obtain jobs or part times for that matter.

"Hmm… in that case would you like a hand mister Nights?"

"Huh?"

Tilting my head towards the Headmaster with a bemused expression he began to explain to me what happens next, "After everything that happened, I believe you should get a place to stay for the upcoming days till the entrance exam of Beacon. Although this person doesn't like me per se he would gladly help you because of today's events. Glynda, can you ask if his around still?"

"Surely Headmaster Ozpin."

Like that she left the room bringing someone else I was left confused about who are they bringing here in the interrogation room.

While I was wondering Ozpin then began to question me showing video evidence of me using my <Aura Combat> and <Aura Amp> as he talks to me, "And your use of Semblances? The enhancements? To most one would think you have a utilitarian type Semblance that functions on versatility. But no, it's more like skills to you correct from you're <Fusion> correct?"

I figured he would want to learn more about my abilities.

For now, I should explain the least I could or at least until it's brought up at the subject at hand but for now honesty should do, "…Correct Ozpin. But I would need to at least practice the skills beforehand to make them useful for combat. Hehe…"

Before Ozpin could continue though Glynda arrived inside with another person I recognized but was quite surprised to see him here.

Logically though it would make sense if he was here to pick up his girls.

Who came into the room was a man with blond hair that has two small strands sticking out from the top and blue eyes. His facial hair consists of a soul patch and small stubble along his jawline.

On his right arm is a tattoo of his emblem, which resembles a heart. His hair was once a bright shade of gold, but in his older age, it has notably grayed somewhat - still blond, but far more subdued.

He wears brown cargo shorts with a dark brown belt, black shoes, a red bandana on his left arm, and a brown leather vest over a tan dress shirt with the right sleeve cut off. For armor, he wears a metal spaulder, leather vambrace, and a brown fingerless glove all on his right arm.

Glancing in my direction I nodded at him acting confused before I pieced it together as I spoke to him, "Wait… you're that girl's father right? Ruby Rose's father right…?"

He smiles at this but when he looks at Ozpin, he stiffs at him but shook it off as he talked to me in a respectful manner, "Y-yeah… Still young man I should scold you for fighting out in the open like that like my daughter… But as a father, I really thank you for helping my baby girl out."

Blushing a bit embarrassed I responded to Tai as I smiled at the father, "Sure. Even though Ruby would be able to handle herself without my help. All I did was play support to her is all."

Tai nods his head but then glances at Ozpin with a frown on his face as he spoke to him in a civil tone, "Sure. But Oz… what exactly do you want from me? I was just about to leave with my daughters back to Patch before Glynda asked of me. Get to the point."

Before Ozpin could speak he glances at me for his permission I shrugged my shoulders as I replied to Ozpin, "Go ahead. I figured he would want all the details about this and it's ok if he refuses. I can find a spot to sleep for the next few days."

Like that Ozpin and Glynda began to explain the situation I was in while Tai as he raised his eyebrow at the explanation of my predicament.

He took some side glances at me but was more surprised when he heard that I was going to Beacon as there were clear signs of concern in his eyes when he looked at me before he was thinking.

Honestly, I was surprised that Tai was around still but also what would the results be as he thinks to himself?

Oh, right I still have that.

As Tai was thinking I took out Jaune's Scroll I saw Glynda looking at me as I handed it to her as she looked confused before I explained, "Oh right. Sorry I was meaning to turn this to the police because I met a guy and tried to call their parents but found some Transcripts to a Jaune Arc to Beacon?"

Her eyes raised an eyebrow at that as she began to take the Scroll looking through the contents as she spoke to me, "Hmm…. I don't know any coming student being Jaune Arc and seeing the contents here… seems like he's trying to enter Beacon Academy with fake transcripts."

Next, her eyes narrowed along with a frown at the content before she calms down before she talked to me more about the topic, "Thank you for the evidence and contents of the info. I'll be sure to exclude mister Arc from our academy and call his parents. We can't have no unreliable students enter Beacon costing a future generation to die because their mistakes…"

However, she then softens a glare towards me as she finishes her words as she pockets away Jaune Scroll on her person, "… that includes you as well mister Nights. Sadly, though Ozpin sees something in you and has set his mind to have you enlist. That's if you have passed the exam first."

Fair enough.

Shrugging at her it was fair because I didn't want to fuck up.

"Fine, I'll do it."

Curtly at that response from Tai, we all turned our attention to him as he crosses his arms together as he spoke out, "It's the best I could at the very least. He helped my baby girl Ruby so it's the least I could do at least till Beacon Academy starts. But don't expect to laze around mister."

Grinning with a nod towards Tai as I fist pumped into the air in response, "No worries mister I'll be hard working to train! I promise to Nuzlocke it even!"

"Huh?"

That was the expression I was met with as I sigh out my breath seeing that they don't get my references.

Really should keep any Earth culture down in me, it's a force of habit.

A habit that no one can understand me unless they are filled with Earth culture…

Shaking his head Tai began to laugh a bit at me next he called me forth to follow him, "Haha… sorry kid but looks like no one understands. But we better get going then the trip to Patch is closing soon."

Sighing my breath at this I smiled and nodded to him as I followed the man I took a quick look at my status screen.

Following Tai out I managed to see the police station inside as well as entering out of the compound to the front of the police to see two girls one was Ruby, and the other was none other than Yang.

Considering the fact that Yang is probably stronger than Ruby age wise it is understandable.

Nodding toward Ruby Tai began to give the girls a brief explanation to them as he spoke in an embarrassed tone, "Hey girls. Mister Nights here is staying with us for the next few days for all of you three to join Beacon. He has… special circumstances and I owed the Headmaster one so here we are."

Yang looks at me surprised Ruby looked very happy as she cheered for me that I'm joining them, "Ah…! You got into Beacon too! Congrats."

Laughing lightly at this I agreed and nodded at this.

This is going to be a very awkward time that much is certain.

But I don't mind it.

I hope all of this is worth it in the end.

But first, how would I gain Ruby's power first?
