Chapter 33 Endorsement (1)
Finally, it was time for Lin Xialou the CEO of L.X Designs to finally and officially endorse Kara as their brand ambassador.
Lin Xialou had always wanted to endorse Kara Stewart as her company's brand ambassador but Kara's young age at then was holding her back.
(Some hours earlier)
(In the L.X Designs Company)
Lin Xialou was in her company that morning having a board meeting with the shareholders.
"C.E.O Lin, do you think Miss Stewart will agree to this endorsement?" A shareholder asked.
"Why not?" Lin Xialou replied.
"We are just asking, having a celebrity like Miss Stewart to instill and inspire confidence on our customers and those yet to patronize us is going to be a deal worth trillions of dollars, we can't afford that much, not this time around." One of the shareholders reasoned.
"Yes, we can't afford that much, we are currently in competition with the "Eau Sang Designs, not to mention the L and B Designs, Dior, Addidas, Hermes, Channels, G and G! Name then, if we go with this deal our stock price will drop." The shareholders reasoned.
"Silence," Lin Xialou ordered.
Immediately there was silence in the board room.
"Thank You! Lin Xialou smiled.
"Now, I'll give you the reason why Kara Stewart is our best shot in topping the market," Lin Xialou said with a pause.
The whole board members immediately paid attention to what their C.E.O was about to say, this is their shares benefits they were talking about, so they needed to give her their undivided attention.
"Now listen, people trust whoever is famous. and in this case, our famous ambassador will be Kara Stewart, she has fans all over the world, and she has their trust."
"And customers always ask themselves, why should celebrities buy a poor quality product? Therefore, this endorsement is a technique we will be using to inspire confidence. And in a market where the choice range is wide and the competition is high, this is a huge point of differentiation,"
"Another point is Direct sales: well, that's really all will want as a company!
"Imagine a Kara Stewart fan looking at the newest Ads, picturing Kara Stewart wearing an L.X Designs gown. Perhaps the outdoor board is placed near an L.X Designs store or outlet the result can be an immediate sale.
The shareholders clapped at Lin Xialou's speech.
"So with these reasons stated, I hope you can now see why she's our best shot in topping the market, and why we need to sign her." Lin Xialou said to the shareholders.
"So how much are we talking about here?" One of the shareholders asked.
"We are talking about thirty trillion U.S dollars," Lin Xialou replied.
"But that's a huge amount of money, Miss Lin please reconsider.......
"There's nothing to reconsider, we will make a whole lot more than that when she becomes our brand ambassador." Lin Xialou quickly interrupted the shareholder member.
"For your information, Miss Stewart's manager, Miss Anderson has declined a lot of brands, because of my friendship with Miss Kara, and because I've already notified them earlier. Lin Xialou said further.
"Do You think Eau Sang Designs or L and B Designs, will think twice about signing an endorsement deal worth trillions of dollars with Miss Stewart?? Lin Xialou asked the shareholders.
"No, they wouldn't hesitate." The shareholders replied.
"But they were declined by Kara herself, because of our friendship." Lin Xialou said to the shareholders, making them gasp in surprise.
"Wow! The shareholders gasped.
"So you see that we've been able to have a rare gem in the music industry, so we better sign and close this endorsement today so we can start filming commercials.
"Yes Ma'am! The shareholders replied chorously.
"Good!. So let's start preparing the documents.
(Present Hour)
(In the room of Kara at the Stewart Mansion)
Kara was sitting in her room, it was the day of her endorsement with her favorite design company, the L.X Designs.
She was very excited for the day, her make-up artist and stylist just arrived and they were bringing out their tools, about to transform her into the goddess that she is.
"I can't believe it's happening ladies, today I'm gonna be endorsed as the brand ambassador of L.X Designs, my favorite fashion design Company." Kara squeaked happily, while the beauticians kept working on her.
"You, my dear are one funny girl," Rebecca said to Kara with a smile.
"And I can't believe that you will turn L and B Designs down." Mrs. Katherine said to Kara as soon as she got to where Kara was sitting, being attended to by the beauticians.
"I just love Lin's Designs more," Kara said to her mother while shrugging her shoulders.
"You threw away Two Hundred Trillion U.S Dollars for love?" Rebecca was right about you, You, my dear are one funny girl! Mrs.Katherine said to Kara while glaring at her with eyes of disbelief.
"Mom, I can't choose money over love, besides I didn't want to break Lin's heart, she has been my designer since forever and she has been looking forward to this day." Kara reasoned to her mom.
"Hallelujah! My daughter is one loyal and patriotic friend." Mrs. Katherine sarcastically said to Kara, the beauticians, and Rebecca, making the ladies to laugh.
"Guys! Stop laughing, it ain't fair," Kara pouted cutely.
"Seeing that cute face of yours, I don't think we are gonna stop laughing anytime soon." Rebecca teased Kara.
"Hahahaha! The ladies laughed.
"Alright girls it's enough, let's stop laughing at her before she opens her flood gate of tears." Mrs.Katherine said to the ladies.
Immediately, the ladies stopped laughing while the beauticians continued working on Kara.
A few minutes later, the beauticians were done in transforming Kara into the goddess of beauty that she is.
Kara was looking stunning in her champagne-colored gown designed by L.X Designs.
She had on her neck her signature diamond necklace, with her name shaped as the pendant, she was looking astoundingly gorgeous by her appearance and the beauticians were the most happiest in the room because Kara's mom, Mrs.Katherine also known as the "Not So Easy To Please" kind of lady or better still the "Iron Lady" was pleased with their work.
A Few minutes later, Kara, Rebecca, and her mom boarded their limousines and zoomed off, heading towards the L.X Designs Company, with three other limousines containing Kara's other bodyguards accompanying them as convoys.
In no time Kara, Rebecca, and her mom arrived at the L.X Designs Company in their convoys of limousines.
As soon as Kara stepped out of her limousine, Joshua and ten other bodyguards immediately formed a protective wall around her, ushering her into the building.
As soon as Kara got into the building, all eyes fell on her, they were stunned by her appearance, she was looking astoundingly gorgeous for a girl of her age.
Kara got into the board room, where she was to sign her endorsement deal.
And as soon as she got inside the room, every board member stopped what they were doing and looked towards her direction, they were mesmerized and Enchanted by her beauty.
"No wonder they call her the goddess, she's really gorgeous." One of the shareholders said out loud.
"This girl is an epitome of beauty, I wish she could be my daughter-in-law, but too bad I have a daughter, not a son." Another shareholder said out loud.
"Hello!. I'm Kara and it's nice to meet you all!. Kara said to the shareholders trying to remember them of her presence in the room.
"Welcome, Miss Kara, and it's a pleasure and an honor meeting You! The shareholders replied chorously.
"Thank You very much, I'm here in respect of my endorsement," Kara said to the shareholders while taking out a seat to sit down.
"Oh! She will be with us shortly." The shareholders replied chorously.
"Okay! Kara replied warmly.
A few minutes later CEO Lin Xialou arrived at the board room, with a couple of lawyers and press members.
"Thank You, Kara, for accepting this endorsement deal, I really appreciate," Lin Xialou said to Kara with a bright smile while presenting the documents to Kara for her to sign.
"Don't mention it! Kara replied to Lin Xialou warmly while signing the documents.
A Few minutes later they were done with the signing of the endorsement deal, the endorsement deal was made with a whooping sum of thirty trillion U.S Dollars.
Lin Xialou then presented the money to Kara's Manager while shaking the hands of Kara holding the endorsement deal for the press to photograph and record.
In no time they were done with the event.
The next day, News Channels and TV stations were broadcasting the video of the endorsement deal between Kara and the L.X Designs Company.
Newspapers, Magazines, and so many News Blogs were not excluded from the ordeal.
Their major headlines were as follows:-
(1) L.X DESIGNS MAKE POP PRINCESS THEIR BRAND AMBASSADOR.
(2) KARA STEWART ENDORSED BY FASHION DESIGN COMPANY, L.X DESIGNS.
(3) L.X DESIGNS SIGNS A NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR. POP PRINCESS KARA STEWART.
These were many of the headlines appearing on Newspapers, Magazines, News Blogs, and News Channels.
In just a few hours the news went Viral and the L.X Designs Company stock price skyrocketed.
Kara on the other hand was very much excited, she couldn't wait for the commercials shooting to start commencing.
