12.(BLUE ORBS)

NICK

Before I could reach my sister, her back hit floor and she passed out, dad held her and called mom, he carried her to the couch and I followed him, dad sprinkled water on her face and she took a deep breath, she whined in pain when dad tried to move her legs, all of the sudden I heard a loud crack and she screamed.Dad took her to the room,mom and I followed him.

She had her first transformation.a nearly impossible thing, she is not eighteen yet. My eyes met hers, I saw black orbs instead of her beautiful brown ones. I gave mom and dad a worried look and they said that it happens with few, she'll be fine. I stroke her hair and her eyes turned back to normal color. As I exited the room the door banged.

I looked at wall clock it was about 1am, who might that be, I opened the door in hurry and found one of my university friend Jason standing there.

What is he doing here at this hour, I glared him. If my dad even get a hint about it I'm dead, I invited him in and closed the door.

"What's going on here and who's that, why he's visiting us so late, never seen him before" he asked all questions at once, I shivered.

"Dad this is Jason, he is my university friend, it's his first time visiting me, he needs my help with something that's why he's here" I told my dad as his eyes softened.

"Well boys you better keep your voices down, and take your friend to your room don't want to wake up your sister" he warned and left.

I went towards my room as Jason followed behind me. I shut the door as he entered the room.

"What the heck man, I told you not to come here, what's so urgent?" I sat on my bed.

"My dad needs to talk to you, it's important, you better visit in few days, I came here to tell you that" he stood up in hurry.

"Fine but I'm not promising, you know my dad would skin me alive, if he even get a hint that I'm in touch with your pack" I gave him a knowing look.

He nodded in agreement,after he left I went towards my sister's room. But my parents conversation stopped me from entering the room, they both sound worried, as I heard that she's healing and her body fought with the shift I relaxed a bit. One thing which made me worried again was that those who had early transformations like that they all rarely survived, but she's fine thankfully.

As I heard them stopping the conversation, I went towards my room quickly before they knew I was doing eves dropping, I closed my room's door slowly and hid myself in blanket after all today was so tiring. God I pray that she stays fine, she's my only sister. I yawned and my eyelids feel heavy.

ROSE

I woke up with unbearable pain in my whole body. My mind was unable to process what happened,till my parents told me that my wolf is waking up and I nearly had my first transformation.

I took shower to wash off the tiredness, I went downstairs for the breakfast, Nick and Jack were not there rest of the family was sitting at table. They all gave me a worried look as I pulled out the chair to sit my head felt heavy, I tried to take hold of chair to prevent myself from falling but didn't worked and my head pained awfully and I fell down and darkness took over my vision.

ALEX

I quickly ran towards my sister to catch her head, before it hit the floor. I rested her head on the cushion and she was unconscious. Dad took her to couch. When mom checked her pulse she relaxed a bit as we all looked at her in worry. As she saw dad she tensed.

"I told you something is wrong with her, but you didn't listen, she could've died because of her early transformation yesterday, I swear John if something happened to her I'll never see your face, so stop arguing with me and let me call my friend" her voice broke and she sat beside Rose.

My mouth hung open, when I heard my mum, how was I still unaware about this. Of course I was asleep due to my overloaded laziness. As Nick sprinkled water over her face she opened her eyes after few minutes and tears trickled down her cheeks. I looked at my dad who was busy in calling someone and he was angry, as he saw me his eyes softened and he gave me a weak smile.

"Hey Alex! sit with her till I'm back" Nick told me while he walked towards his room in hurry.

I slowly walk towards the couch and tried to change my face expressions, so she won't know I'm worried. I squeezed her hand and she hugged me, that's what she always does when she's scared of something. I hugged her tighter until she let me go.

"I don't know what's happening to me, I'm scared" she wiped off her tears.

"you'll be fine Rose, don't worry, after all you survived in most of cases it's very rare, you'll be alright" I assured her.

"Rose one of your mom's friend is coming for your checkup and he's a healer" dad told us while making another call.

"Healer?" we looked at our dad in confusion.

"Healers are like doctors but they have every knowledge about how to treat people like us, maybe your mom's friend know how to stop your early transformation" he said.

It was 3pm, breakfast was already missed, I pulled out few slices of bread and made sandwich and left to complete my vacations homework. God I can't escape my thoughts. I diverted all my concentration towards my studies and started learning.

ROSE

As I tried to get myself off the couch, I felt my legs hurting, I sat back and cursed under my breath. I struggled to walk towards my room and closed the door with frustration. As I lay on my bed I felt tired like never before and my bed gave me so much relaxation and I drift into sleep.

9 hours later...

My mum moved my shoulder and I woke up, she handed me sandwich and tablets with water, I gulped down the tablet with water after eating sandwich. I went downstairs after mum left it was 12am. I turn on the tv and lower down the volume so their sleep won't get disturbed. I turn off the tv when I didn't find anything interesting to watch. I went back to my room and decided to read a book.I picked a book from shelf and started reading it.

Suddenly I heard a click, and someone opened the door slowly. I was shocked at the moment my hearing was way too much better than the last time. I slowly checked from my window and found Nick was there slowly taking step away from the main door. I decided to go after him and quickly wore my joggers and coat. I started following him I walked slowly so he won't be able to hear my footsteps, but he was in that much hurry that he didn't even notice. I had to walk fast so I won't lose the tracks, he was walking brisk, I lost his tracks. I sighed in disbelief and keep on walking straight where he disappeared, into the forest.

God help me, if dad knew about us both coming here alone he'll kill us. I shivered in fear, when I heard wolf howling,after few seconds I heard few more and I ran straight back, I fall down because I didn't notice a big log on my way. As I tried to get up I felt hot breaths behind my neck, I closed my eyes in fear and pray to God for my safety. I slowly turned back and opened my eyes, I saw a wolf same as size of Nick's wolf only eyes were glowing blue instead of glowing red. I screamed at the top of my lungs and try to push away the heavy weight from my body and crawled back, suddenly someone hit my head with something heavy and I started losing my consciousness and darkness took over my vision...
