11. (PAIN)
ROSE
All I could see was red eyes, none of us tried to make a move, I pulled Max behind me slowly, Jennifer stood beside me while clenching my left hand.
The room was still dark, the moon hid behind the clouds, I had no intentions of revealing Nick's identity to Max , I stared deep in the darkness, but miserably failed to see anything rather red eyes of Nick's wolf. the room filled with moonlight as the clouds moved past the moon, A gasp left my mouth, Nick's wolf had gotten way bigger than last time. he was more bigger and taller than the last time. A lump formed in my throat with fear as I watched him moved slowly towards us all.
As he moved further, shiver went down my spine,he started sniffing my hands, my whole body became stiff with fear,then his head moved towards Max, who was pale in fear.
"Brother stop" I called out to him to divert his attention from Max.
Which didn't work and he growled louder this time, Max and Jennifer were now hiding behind me, I felt my legs giving out, suddenly he jumped out of the window.
"Shut down the window we got him" dad shouted from outside and I heard a painful howl.
We barely reached downstairs to lounge,the door opened and dad came in while holding chains in his hand, those chains were tied around Nick, he dragged Nick inside and after him was uncle Josh they both were covered in mud. They dragged him towards the basement's door, he kept growling. They pushed him hard and finally managed to get him through the door. After a couple of minutes I heard painful howls, I jumped and sprint towards basement as mom and aunty try to stop me, I dogged them and went down to basement.
What I saw made me gasp ,dad was shouting at Nick while he was tied so tightly in chains that he wasn't able to move, it looked like the chain might peirce through his skin.
"You could've hurt them, I told you not to go near them, but you didn't listen, now shift back or I'm going to beat that stubborn ass out of your body" he growled.
"DAD STOP" I screamed.
He froze in the place and turned towards me with shock.
"WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING JONATHAN, WERE YOU THINKING ABOUT BEATING HIM,TAKE THOSE FUCKIN CHAINS OFF OF HIM, THEY MIGHT CUT HIS SKIN, HE'S BLEEDING" mum shouted at dad.
"Honey I can explain, and Rose why don't you look after your brother" he told me while throwing the whip away.
"YOU ARE CRAZY, SHE'S JUST A KID AND YOU WANT HER TO FUCKING CLEAN THE MESS YOU'VE MADE, YOU BETTER GET THIS RIGHT JOHN" I winced at her voice.
" Mom Its fine, I'll try" I assured her,so this argument and drama don't continue.
The door closed with bang and I shivered,I went towards wash basin and wet the cloth and came back and saw him whining in pain. I loose the chains on his neck and paws,he whinnied louder.His back had few cuts, but his legs seemed fine.All I could hear was my parents shouting at each other and my uncle and aunt trying to stop them.
As I got closer to clean the blood on his fur he moved away, I cursed him under breath, he's stubborn even he's in pain, idiot.
"You listen to me, I'm going to clean your wounds,stay still brother" I warned and moved towards him.
He didn't stop, after all that stubborn ass is not going to listen to me, I glared him which didn't turn out well, he growled back.
"Come on!!! stop moving, you like it or not I'm cleaning those " I turned towards him in a blink.
When he didn't move I started cleaning blood from the back, a big patch of hair was gone. Instead of whining in pain he licked my hand.
"Damn it,stop that's gross" I nearly screamed.
"Eww" I washed my hands several time.
Then I saw my parents coming down, they gave me a worried look, without saying a word i sprinted towards my room, I had no intentions to face anyone. I washed my hands again, and sit on my bed, The door burst open and Nick was standing there, my eyes went wide when he walked in like nothing happened to him. Only ten minutes passed and he changed back and decided to check on me what a jerk, I shrugged my shoulders.
"Stop staring at me kiddo" he whispered.
"How come u look like nothing happened ten minutes ago?" I asked
"It's normal for us when we get used to it, it becomes easy, and with addition of fast healing" he explained.
" Dad shouldn't have tied you to those chain, don't tell me he hit yo also!" I rolled my eyes.
"Hey I could've hurt you, Max or Jennifer and that would be a complete disaster, dad would've put me in chains anyways after that, well do you see any scars on my arm" he showed me his arm.
"Werewolves heal faster than normal human beings, so stop worrying too much, let's go downstairs everyone is waiting" he pulled me up.
After few minutes mom called me to say goodbye to uncle's family as they were leaving accept for Jennifer. She decided to stay for a whole week, as the outing plan was already cancelled. I hit Alex on his back as he was busy in sleeping with his empty bowl of popcorn over his lap.
"Well that was quite of a show" he mocked me.
"Shut up, don't you know anything rather than sleeping lazy ass" I answered back.
As I came to lay on my bed there was someone already sleeping, I dragged the blanket and found Jennifer sleeping on my bed, that clever girl, I pushed her aside and lay down while panting, God she has gained some extra weight. The next week is going to be excited, I relaxed in my bed and sleep took over.

One week later…
Today is the best day after all those hectic days, last week was all fun as Jennifer was here to entertain me. Finally I'm sixteen, our parents decided a surprise birthday party for us which was not a surprise for me and Alex anymore, Jennifer had already told us. Yes she always reveal the secrets.
It was almost 7pm and Alex and I were pacing out to eat the birthday cake. When mom blindfolded us and walked us to the lounge everyone greeted us. And she took off the blindfolds. My mouth hung open the whole lounge was decorated and looked magical. When me and Alex saw our birthday cake, we nearly faint, it was black forest chocolate cake, which mom never allowed us eating before due to it's richness of chocolate, after all she's a doctor.
Dad had already ordered more than ten pizzas as all the men eat like here eat like there's no tomorrow. Mom made lasagna, Spaghetti and some side dishes. Dad turned the lights off and we cut the birthday cake after blowing the candles with happy birthday wishes.
When mum and dad gave us gifts, our eyes went wide open, when we found new phones in the gift box. Alex jumped in excitement while I was already expecting something like this so I thanked my parents for the gift.
After seeing off out relatives, I helped Nick with cleaning all the dishes and Alex and Max cleaned the whole lounge and removed all the decorations. I felt like I might sleep as soon as I drop on bed.
As I climbed few stairs, I felt pain in my stomach and my jaws started hurting, I ignored it and climbed further but the pain didn't decrease and my stomach twisted and I screamed while losing my balance and rolled downstairs. I screamed in pain while holding my stomach, and the pain travelled all the way through my back bone and everything started to become blur and I saw Nick and dad running towards me and darkness took over...
