Chapter 55 : Batman Is Injured

"Mr. Herbert, please wait a moment."

Jude was spotted standing at the door in the surveillance, but Alfred, the housekeeper, immediately opened the door and welcomed him in.

"I haven't seen you in a few days; you seem upset, Alfred."

Alfred sighed: "Master Bruce is injured, and the injury is not minor."

Jude didn't care: "It's just an injury; it's not a big deal. It's Just like him, he ran out to be a vigilante, and the protective clothing he wore was not strong. This kind of thing is normally going to happen."

In no hurry, he went to see Bruce. Jude took a hot bath first and then took care of his hair. Then he picked up an apple and went down to the bat cave.

"Jude, you are finally back."

Ivy was the first to spot him. The young girl hugged him when she saw him. Her very predictable figure was so enjoyable.

A whistle sounded next to me.

If you want to show affection go to the house above, There are so many rooms there, and there are children here."

Damian glared at Firefly and said, "If you don't speak, no one will treat you as dumb."

The two hugged and then separated. Jude looked at Damian and asked, "Where is your father? I heard he was injured, and he looked quite serious."

Ivy took Jude to the place where Bruce was recuperating. During the process, he did not see the black canary and the huntress. After asking, I realized that it turned out that something was wrong with Star City. They were anxious and rushed back.

Approaching the bed, I saw the dignified Batman lying there with his upper body wrapped in bandages.

"Wow, this kind of situation is rare."

As Jude said, he took out a camera and clicked on a five-shot burst, but after seeing the image, he couldn't help but frown: "Bruce, your expression management is out of control. Pay attention to your Face."

"Delete it!"

Bruce said every word with a sullen face.

"That's right. The injured person must be in pain. It is more realistic for you to be in pain now."

Bruce almost pulled out the cannula from his body and stood up. Fortunately, his three sons Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin went up together to hold him.

Red Hood had nothing to do with Jude, and he stood up and said, "This is not a good thing. If Bruce's identity is leaked, it will cause a big storm, so give me the camera."

"you worry too much Jason, can't Bruce Wayne not get sick? Can't he be beaten? He plays with beautiful women all day. I don't know how many people are there. It's not uncommon to be beaten by others. I just want to collect it. Take it out when I am in a bad mood, and laugh."

Jason Todd relaxes his muscles. If Jude disagrees, he will grab it. Others cannot bully his father.

Settling Jason Todd, Jude thought to himself, "Little guy, it's just an exposed film. I have 10,000 ways to restore it. Batman's frustration is my collection."

"Well, Bruce, tell me what's going on? Which villain has this ability to beat you so miserably?"

Bruce said, "It's a Talon."

"Talon? So you went to the owl's den?"

"Yes, you told me that the castle I explored when I was a child was one of the gathering points of the Court of Owls, so I went there."

"But although the castle is still there, it doesn't look like anyone has ever been there, and I haven't found any members of the owl in it."

"So I went to the residence of the Boris family again, and there I found a box in which there was a silver-white mask."

Jude said with a chuckle, "I didn't lie to you; it's the owl mask."

Bruce continued, "So I infiltrated the Johnson family's residence again and found two silver and white masks in the safe."

"The problem was on the third day. When I sneaked into the Longbottom family, I was ambushed. Eight Talons attacked me at the same time. I was severely injured, but I managed to escape from there."

"Um, that's a tragic tale. You're very concerned Bruce. At the very least, we'd have assisted if you were asked to act together. Moreover, you underestimate the Court. As the ancient entity in Gotham City, their strength is formidable. Don't underestimate them."

Damian chimed in, "Yes if you had taken me with you at that time, we could have at least broken a few bones."

Jude touched his chin, pondered for a moment, and remarked, "Now it's not just about your father's broken bones; it's whether the Court discovered his identity."

Nightwing spoke cautiously, "Impossible. Bruce doesn't make low-level mistakes. No, it's not about making low-level mistakes; it's about the enemy's strength. I believe the Owl's people aren't that foolish. When Batman spotted them, they must have been diligently searching for Batman's trail."

Jude's perspective was apparent to everyone present, but recognizing it was one thing; treating it as a major event was another. The Batcave had been a closely guarded secret for too long, instilling a strong sense of security in the Bat Family.

From the depths of their hearts, they didn't believe the Owl Court could find this place. The last time the two claws appeared, it was purely accidental. Their objective was to assassinate Bruce Wayne, not Batman.

"Okay, I'll be vigilant. By the way, Lucius told me that you're creating a powerful weapon. What's the outcome?"

"It's promising, just needs a bit more refinement. But I'm confident that my technology won't fail."

At this point, Ivy interjected, "Jude, can't you develop a healing potion? Would it be useful in a situation like Bruce's?"

"If it's only a fracture and internal organ damage, it's not difficult to cure. But I'm a bit fatigued, so I'll get some sleep first. After waking up, I'll head to Wayne Building. Let Lucius set up a proper laboratory for me."

After speaking, Jude returned to the manor and chose a spacious room to get a restful sleep. When he woke up, it was dusk.

"Did you rest well, Mr. Herbert?"

"It's okay. Are you waiting for me, Alfred?"

"Yes, the vehicle is ready; you can go to Wayne Building anytime."

Jude slapped his forehead. "So that's what you're thinking? It's Batman's old man. Alright, let me do him a favor. Honestly, I want to leave Gotham. The air quality here is terrible, and there are so many mental illnesses; it's not a livable city."
