Chapter 6: The Rewards

Sengoku's ideas are pretty solid compared to others.

Even though some folks have pondered it, not everyone's got the same big-picture smarts as Sengoku.

The chat room buzzes with excitement right now.

Roronoa Zoro: I'm picking 8, the boss of the revolutionary army in some other place. He has got to be a top-notch swordsman.

No rhyme or reason. It just feels right, so Zoro went with Jianhao.

Kaido: Where'd this kid pop up from? I bet he's one tough fighter. War, that's the only thing that shakes up the world.

There is no special reason, just 'cause Kaido's a soldier himself, and he knows the sting of betrayal.

Douglas Bullet: Kaido's onto something. The big shot ruling the world's gotta be a betrayed soldier, tough as nails.

Nico Robin: It's archaeologists. Only they truly get the world's secrets and can make real change happen.

Dr. Clover: You're spot on, Robin.

Vegapunk: Absolutely, it's all about technology. Only tech can truly shake things up. The might of tech is my pick, number 2.

Cobra: I reckon having a king of a mighty nation, full of goodness and fairness, ain't a bad idea either. That kind of power and righteousness.

Cobra throws his hat in the ring, too. Though on the one hand, he's been really roughed up after the Alabasta mess.

The other reason is to leave something behind for his daughter Vivi after he's gone.

Crocodile: Well, well, King Cobra, a king nearly toppled by pirates, leading the revolutionary army that's gonna run the world? When it comes to sheer might, why not pick the Celestial Dragons?

Doflamingo: What sets apart those Celestial Dragons who gave up their authority from plain idiots? Absurd.

Garp: After hearing all that, I'm going with number 5. Marine Son of Hero is plenty.

Monkey D. Luffy: You got it, Gramps. We're in sync.

Sengoku was taken aback by Garp's choice. With limited options, only three folks can snag the rewards.

Certainly, there's a good chunk opting for the fifth choice. Once the countdown wraps up, it's a race against the clock.

Katakuri: This is tough. Observation Haki can't quite grasp it, and it's too darn complicated.

Ten seconds flew by amidst everyone's chatter in the chat room.

As the countdown hit zero, everyone still chatting instantly transformed into answer whizzes and nailed it in a flash.

[The correct answer to the prize quiz is 4, and the top three who chose it are General Star Katakuri, Whitebeard Edward Newgate, and Admiral Zephyr from the Marines.]

[Star Katakuri received the Conqueror's Entangling Awakening Card as a reward, allowing direct control over the Conqueror's Entangling Ability.]

[Whitebeard Edward Newgate was rewarded with a five-year resurrection card, capable of perfectly reviving individuals who passed away within five years of its use. Moreover, these cards can be fused; two five-year resurrection cards merge into a ten-year resurrection card.]

(Note 1: The remaining time after subtracting the time of death from the number of years of use will be converted into age. For example, if a person dies two years ago and a five-year resurrection card is used, they will be revived three years younger. Additionally, resurrection cards cannot be used on living individuals.)

(Note 2: Resurrection cards obtained by deceased individuals are directly bound and cannot be used on others. The available resurrection time will accumulate if the individual cannot be resurrected. However, if a living person acquires the card, it can be used on others.)

[Admiral Zephyr, before joining the Marines, was granted a ten-year perfect repair potion. Upon use, it can completely heal all injuries, disabilities, hidden ailments, and diseases while also making the body ten years younger.]

Katakuri: I just went with my gut; I didn't expect to hit the jackpot.

Feeling a bit bewildered, Katakuri couldn't predict this enigmatic quiz's answer with his usual insight, so he relied on intuition.

After making his choice, he second-guessed himself; it seemed like the least probable option.

To his surprise, he ended up picking the right one after all.

And it's the Conqueror's Entangled Awakening he's been yearning for.

Despite his remarkable skill in Observation Haki, mastering Conqueror's has always eluded him.

While the Mochi-Mochi Fruit is formidable, it lacks the devastating force he craves. Destructive power is his sole weakness, the area where he falls short compared to the Four Emperors.

Now, his final weakness can finally be addressed.

Empowered by Conqueror's Entangled Awakening, he now feels confident enough to confront his own mother, who's been tormented by cravings, to protect his siblings.

Whitebeard: Seems like fate's favouring us, commoner orphans.

Whitebeard is deeply moved. He chose option four because he himself was once a civilian orphan who rose up against tyranny.

Despite his lack of strength when his country was oppressed, he persevered through sheer determination and the trials of life and death to reach this day.

Sengoku: How could it be option 4?

Sengoku finds it hard to believe.

His earlier deductions seemed flawless, and a hero's son appeared to be the most plausible choice.

Even if not that, each of the other options seemed more probable than common orphaned children, given the immense challenges they face in starting from such a disadvantage.

Going from a civilian orphan with nothing to leading a revolutionary army that shapes the world? Are we stretching reality a bit too far here?

Civilian orphans are at the bottom rung; only slaves have a lower status.

Roger: Time's ticking, folks. Why dwell on the answer when the real talk should be about the reward? Resurrection cards are up for grabs, and that rascal Newgate's already back from the dead.

Golden Lion: Resurrection cards sure sound tempting, but sadly, I'm already dead. I would prefer Scoundrel Zephyr's body repair potion if I were alive.

The undead Golden Lion is facing demise by acid.

Resurrection cards might smell sweet, but Zephyr's body repair potion is alluring, too.

Even for the Golden Lion, the body repair potion would undoubtedly be more appealing if he were still kicking.

With his legs restored and the rudder removed from his head, he could even regain ten years of youth.

Without physical disabilities hampering his movement and without the rudder hindering his Haki, how could he possibly lose to those petty thugs?

Physical limitations slowed his speed, and the Lion Fruit alone couldn't compensate.

The rudder interfered with his Haki abilities, posing a constant threat of brain injury and potential death.

Brook: Here's a conundrum: if you're a skeleton but breathing, are you technically alive or dead? Would you need a resurrection card or a body repair potion?

Nami: That's quite the brain teaser, but before we delve into that, I suggest snagging the quiz prize first.
