Reckless

Being in his balance breaker, Issei's power can be doubled continuously without the 10 seconds interval. And it's just the perfect time for it.

[Boost! Boost! Boost!]

Issei arrived in front of an enemy, the latter which has his arms out with a magic circle upfront.

Issei didn't dally and wasn't worried about the spell coming his way. He coated his right fist with touki and punched through the magic spell. Then his fist continued on and hit the face of his opponent, he then blasted a concentrated ki blast to it.

The devil whom he punched in the face had his head pop like a balloon. Blood spurted out and covered his fist and body.

Those that saw that got stunned and Issei took that oppurtunity. He enhanced himself with touki and senjutsu then dashed off towards Kuroka who was barely conscious.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you..." Issei whispered before dashing off once again. This time his enemies got out of thei daze.

Issei on the other hand put down Kuroka away from the devils. He then turned and blasted some ki towards the incoming spells.

"No holding back now," He muttered before blasting off.

Getting near another enemy, Issei once again blasted his opponent's head.

"What are you all doing, those who know close quarter combat, engage the enemy!" The devil group leader commanded.

And then from the group, quite a few dashed towards Issei. The first to arrive has his hands coated with demonic power and threw a punch at Issei.

'Predictable,' Issei thought as he ducked down and shaped some ki into blade shaped then blasted it through the ones surrounding him.

Then without further ado, he continued on killing his enemies swiftly as if he was on a rush. But as time passed, his killing speed significantly slowed down.

And finally, it's only the devil leader. The man was cackling evilly as he stared at Issei. "Kukuku, it seems you're nearing your limit."

'Shit, I don't have much time before the technique deactivates.' Issei cursed in his mind while confronting the leader.

Without further thinking, Issei threw some ki blades towards the enemy who responded by throwing his own spells. The collision of the attacks created an explosion causing dusts to rise blocking their vision.

Well for the devil leader at least since with senjutsu, Issei could 'see' just fine. So with that, he swiftly attacked once again. Arriving behind the leader, he threw a kick which the leader reacted by dodging.

Issei just smiled at the sight as numerous ki projectiles swooped in, surrounding the enemy. Those ki projectiles then blasted through the enemy's body, creating severe injuries.

"*Uaack* *Cough*" The devil leader coughed out blood as his body gained some gaping holes. His breathing was becoming unstable as he tries on holding on his life.

Issei just coldly stared at him before throwing a touki coated fist and blasting some ki, popping the enemy's head.

"*Cough* *Cough*" Issei kneeled down as he coughed out some blood out of his helmet. Shortly after, his balance breaker disappeared and his form changed back to his child form.

[Partner, are you okay?]

"...It's the after effects of the technique." Issei replied before glancing at the field they fought. Blood was everywhere along with the headless corpses.

He raised his right hand and soon the spiritual flames made through senjutsu appeared and spread out to burn alll the corpses as well as the blood.

After being down with that, he weakly walked towards where he put Kuroka. Arriving there, what he saw was not a girl but a black cat full of wounds.

"*Cough* *Cough*" Issei coughed out blood once again, before wiping it off. "Looks like she turned into this form due to severe injuries."

Issei then sat down beside Kuroka and sighed, "I should heal for a bit before going home." he muttered and started employing his senjutsu for healing purposes.

[Partner, you have some serious internal injuries. If you were to stay in that form for just a bit, your organs would've ruptured.]

Issei smiled wryly, "Well...you're right..." He replied weakly

[Focus on healing yourself first.]

"Thanks"

Issei used senjutsu to heal himself on his injuries for a few hours before he somewhat getting rid of some injuries. His internal injuries aren't fully healed though, he would need a few days for that but otherwise, he can now use the minimum of his abilities.

After healing himself, he proceeded to heal Kuroka's injuries. But similar to him, she also sustained major internal injuries so he only manage to heal her external ones. She also got some worse injuries that can't be healed by him currently with his ability.

After all that was done, he carefully carried her in his arms and went home.
