*Swish!* *Slash!*

Issei's sword swiftly slashed towards the grosteque flab of meat. Contrary to expectations, the sword didn't cut deeply on the stray due to the fat acting as protection.

The stray felt the attack too and turned around. It's mouth was full of sharp teeth, with blood dripping grom it.

*Raaaaaarrgh!*

It roared as it swung its large right arm towards Issei. The latter which used sage art on his stick sword to slash it. Unlike it's main body that is full of thick fat, it's arm was considerably thinner hence his sword easily cut through.

*Raaagh!*

Issei jumped to the side and dodged the blood spurting out of the arm. While the stray in its anger and pain, glared at Issei as it swung it's remaining arm.

*Bam* *Bam*

Issei dodged the arm as it slammed the concrete floor.

'I should finish it,' He thought as he increased his speed. A second later, he got in front of the stray.

Due to his current age, the stray towers over him which he used to his advantage. He concentrated nature's ki in his stick and thrust it towards the stray's chin, blasting off its head in the process.

*Thud*

Issei then swiftly jumped back and avoided the corpse, falling.

"Now, I just need to burn it." Issei muttered,

[But you didn't train your magic yet...oh wait, senjutsu?]

"Yes, I'll use spiritual flames made by senjutsu."

As he said that, a crimson red flame appeared in Issei's right hand which then flew towards the stray's corpse. It burned the corpse quickly before turning it to ash.

Issei then turned around and started walking away.

"Finally done with this one, I'll hunt a few more around the vicinity of our home."

[Hey partner, how long do you think you need to achieve balance breaker?]

"Hmm, at the rate I'm going now, I think in a few more months. I think just before I turn 13 years old. After achieving it, I can finally start moving in the supernatural world."

[You're really overpowered, partner]

"Haha well, it's just thanks to my memories from the future." Issei chuckled as he traverse through from roof to roof once again.

After which he continued hunting some more strays to keep the area around his home, safe.

"Whew, that will be all for tonight. I should go home now." Issei muttered as he burned another corpse.

After seeing the corpse turbed to ashes, he then used light step and jump from the roofs of the houses.

After a few minutes, he was near his home but then, he suddenly stopped.

"Partner..."

[Yeah, I felt that too, it's spatial and magic fluctuations. Someone teleported in the town.] Ddraig replied with a seriously.

Issei's expression turned serious too as he felt multiple presence teleporting after the intial teleportation. And those following presence has huge presence meaning, they're strong.

[What are you going to do?]

"I can't ignore this since they're quite near our home. They can endanger my parents," Issei replied before going full speed towards the location where he felt the fluctations.

While on his way, he used Touki along side his safe arts to enhance his physical strength and defenses.

Arriving at the area, he saw a group of devils surrounding someone. The group was mostly composed of mid-class devils with two high-class devils in terms of power.

The person they're surrounding was a girl full of injuries such as as burns, cuts, etc. She appears as a girl in the age range of Issei, having long black hair with split bangs, and hazel-gold eyes with cat-like pupils.

"?!!!?" Issei subconsciously flared his aura as he felt a familar emotion. It was the emotion of anger.

While he had experienced many things in the decades, he had become calm in most situations. He wasn't easily angered band few occasions would get him angered. But one such occasion has happened currently.

Seeing one of the person he deeply cares about being full of injuries, is a sure fire way on angering him. The girl might not know him currently but, he did know her and that's enough of a reason.

[Partner!]

"Ddraig...I think I need balance breaker." Issei glanced at the devils who noticed him due to him flaring his aura.

[But you can't access it right now]

"I have a way but it's a reckless one with my curent body." Issei replied before swiftly gathering nature's ki from the surrounding.

While doing so he dodged the spells thrown at him by the enemies.

"Kill that brat, we can't let any witness get away." One of the high class devils leasing the group pointed at Issei.

"Yes!"

Back to Issei, after a few moments, his body grew suddenly. It only stopped after he grew to how he looks in his late teens.

This was one of the modes that one can use through senjutsu. It lets him grow by gathering nature's ki and in this form, he can access more power and abilities such as balance breaker.

After such announcement resounded, the teenage (temporary) Issei was covered in draconic looking armor.

"Now then, I don't have much time so, let's start this!" Issei said as he dashed off towards an enemy.
