Prostrate exams

Outside the hospital, a sleek car was parked by the end of the road. It was night and the car was dark making it look like a perfect camouflage. Inside, Xu Jingli and his assistant, Lu Fang, were sitting comfortably. Lu Fang had no idea why his boss suddenly wanted to come to this small hospital in the outskirts of the capital.

He sighed, "Boss, are you trying to but this place? A redevelopment maybe?"

Xu Jingli did not answer but that did not stop Lu Fang from asking once more, "Are you looking to start your own hospital so you have come to take a look at how hospitals operate? If that was the case then I think we should be inside instead of watching from outside where we cannot see anything happening inside!"

Xu Jingli turned to him, "I already have a hospital."

Lu Fang sighed, "The what are we doing here at eight at night?"

Xu Jingli did not even turn to face him, "You can go home then and leave the car to me!"

His eyes were focused somewhere. For some reason, he wanted to see Chen Mumu again and that was why after asking for a while, he found out that she had come to this hospital.

It was strange. Back at the wedding, she had gotten in with such grandiose that this hospital did not match with the idea of her he had in his mind. He suddenly turned to Lu Fang before he spoke, "Look up Chen Mumu and tell me who she is."

Lu Fang was surprised. This was the first time Xu Jingli had asked him to look up the information regarding a woman. Usually, it was always men who made deals with the man.

He had always been taught never to ask questions so he pulled out a weird looking gadget from the drawer under his car seat and keyed in the name. a couple of results popped up all with pictures of the people. He pushed the gadget towards Xu Jingli and asked, "Is she amongst these?"

Xu Jingli looked down, saw the Chen Mumu he was looking for and then clicked. He took the gadget from Lu Fang and began to read all the information regarding Chen Mumu.

Turns out that Chen Mumu was the daughter of Chen Murong, the head of Chen Group. Her father was one of the richest men in the country. He read further and realized that Chen Mumu was actually illegitimate. Chen Murong had her with his mistress when he went on a business trip to Chen Mumu's mother's home town. She had a sister, Chen Xu, who he had attended the engagement of and her step-mother was Xia Fei who hated Chen Mumu to the core!

Chen Mumu's mother was sick and this maybe the reason why Chen Mumu was in the hospital. Before he could read futher, he saw something from the corner of his eyes. He squinted them and when he saw who it was, his body language changed drastically.

That was Chen Mumu but who was the other guy next to her?

He felt a very powerful emotion overcome him and before he knew it, he was already out of the car walking in large strides towards the two!

Lu Fang was surprised! He tried to call out, "Sir…boss…Xu Jingli!"

None of those worked so he got out to see for himself what had made the man walk out in such a hurry!

Chen Mumu and Doctor Feng were speaking on her mother's treatment unaware that a certain man was coming towards them. The doctor gave a few pointers, "The medicine I have given you will last a week. I heard from your mom that you will not be here tomorrow for her discharge so I needed to tell you this before you left. She will have her first dose in the morning so there is no need to worry. When the week is over please bring her back. We don't want to waste any more time."

Chen Mumu nodded, "I will bring her over once I have everything in order. I will also work extra hard so that I can get enough money for the surgery so don't worry to much."

Doctor Feng felt like he was the one who should tell her not to worry but she had already said it.

He looked at Chen Mumu's dress once more and asked, "Did you go somewhere today?"

Chen Mumu looked down at her dress and sighed, "Yeah, a wedding."

Feng Du An looked at her strangely. That dress was good, great even but for a wedding, it was a little revealing. He did not want to voice it out as he was afraid it would not sound good. it would also bring his chances of ever getting close to Chen Mumu down.

He really liked Chen Mumu and was hoping that one day he would get the courage to ask her out. She was one of the most beautiful women he had ever laid eyes on and to top it all off, she was very intelligent.

He scooted closer to her, "What will you be doing after work tomorrow?" he asked all of a sudden.

Chen Mumu looked up, "Nothing much, I will accompany my mother at home, why?"

"Nothing much, I was just hoping that you could…"

Before he completed his sentence, someone suddenly interrupted them by calling, "Mumu…"

Chen Mumu thought she was hearing her own things. Her head snapped towards the voice and there he was, Xu Jingli in the flesh!

He immediately walked towards them. Chen Mumu was surprised, "What are you doing here?"

Xu Jingli did not know the answer to that himself. He tried to come up with an excuse but whatever his mind was coming up with did not seem too convincing so he said, "One of my friends wants to have a prostrate exam and this was the nearest hospital we could find, what are you doing here?"

The friend, Lu Fang, who had also reached where they were heard that and almost fainted!

Prostrate exam? Prostrate exam my ass!!!!
