"What do you think?" Tianshi Xue asked the prince as she spooned another forkful of cake into her mouth.
"It's moist," he told her. "And it's not that sweet."
"I baked this cake yesterday afternoon. I made it for you." Saying those words made her fingers curl, but she had to get used to this now. If she wanted to advance and level up her relationship with the prince, she should no longer feel awkward about saying nice things like this one.
Besides, the prince did not look a bit bashful when he told her earlier that he missed her. Prince Qui declined to go back to the garden, insisting that he would doze off instead of spending his time with her. So they went to the library.
