Preparations

"So, now what?" Alice asked as we walked around the house, on the wrap around porch.

"I don't know. I'll probably just go to sleep. I'm mentally and emotionally drained. That is the first time we've talked about that day in twelve years after all." I said as I slowly walked towards my bike.

"You can sleep here, in my bed. Vampires don't sleep, so I'll just keep an eye on you...and maybe stroke your hair all night." she whispered to herself, thinking I couldn't hear her.

"I think it would be nice to have a pretty girl stroking my hair all night." I said nonchalantly, watching her from the corner of my eye to see her reaction.

"You heard that??" Alice asked, tirning to face me quickly as her face went a faint tint of red.

"Voices are just vibrations in the air, of course I heard it." I stated blankly.

"Oh. So my family is playing baseball next weekend...will you join us?" she asked hopefully.

"I guess. But I'll just cheer you on from the sidelines. It wouldn't be fair if I played." I responded.

"Okay. Are we going to your place or staying here? Even if I need to stay outside all night, I'm staying with you." she said, not giving me an option.

Hearing Emmett bust out laughing inside, I answered "I won't make you sleep outside. I'm not capable of that...as far as Bella is concerned, I'll be sleeping at home alone, as I already said. You can come over after she leaves if you want. The back door will be left unlocked for you." I said as I put my helmet back on.

"Okay, I'll see you soon." Alice said happily, watching me prepare to leave.

"Okay." was all I said before starting my hoverbike and flying away.

...

The next morning

Alice snuck back into her home, trying not to make any noise. While she was silent, someone was waiting, hoping to embarrass her.

"Well, good morning!" Emmett all but yelled.

"Oh, maaaaan." was all Alice could say before everyone else ran into the kitchen.

"So. Details, girl. Gimme." Esme said.

"Nooooooo!" Alice said, trying to avoid the entire situation.

"Does he have a big dick?" Rosalie asked, getting in on the fun.

Alice went ramrod straight and shut her mouth.

Seeing they weren't getting any answers from her, everyone looked as Edward.

"Don't look at me. She's doing everything to NOT think about last night." Edward informed them.

Releasing a long sigh, Alice admitted "We didn't do anything. He was really exhausted after telling us about his past and fell asleep with his head on my lap while we were talking."

"""Ugh.""" all the girls said.

"Maybe tonight. Normally, I'm all for fast, hard, and heavy, but I think he's going to take a bit. Until yesterday, he thought you were a child, Alice. Let it sink in for him." Emmett said calmly.

(To make a few things clear 1:only Carlisle knows that Hadrian already knew they were vampires. 2:spending time around people thinking and acting like she's 17, not 18, would start to set this in anyone's mind unless you're a psycho IMHO. 3:they're a family and are all, besides Emmitt and Rose, over 100 years old at this point so dirty details won't 'cringe' them)

"You're right. I need to go through my nightwear. I think I have exactly what he would like. Did everyone notice that he mainly wears black? Even his vehicles are black with red or gold accents. If I didn't have school today, I would spend all day prepping." Alice said angrily.

"I'll pick something out for you, Alice. When you get home, I'll even do your makeup. I already have plans for the colors you pointed out." Esme said excitedly.

"Thanks, mom." Alice said happily as she ran to get ready for school.

"Guys, night?" Jasper said, looking at Emmett and Edward.

""Guys, night."" they both agreed.

...

Later that day

Opening the back door to the house, Alice called out "Hadrian, are you home?"

Hearing nothing, she decided to go ahead and message him.

'I'm at your place. Are you going to be awhile?'

'No. I just finished finalizing transitioning my company into a multinational corporation. I'll be home in about twenty minutes.' Hadrian responded.

'Okay! I'll be waiting.'

'Alright. Turn on a movie for us to watch if you want.'

...

Hadrian's POV

Walking inside, I heard a movie playing in the theater. After prepping myself some popcorn and grabbing a soda, I walked in to see The Mummy playing. Having enjoyed the movie in my past life, I thought nothing of it until I turned to look at Alice.

I'm dropped my open drink and popcorn as I stared at her...I may or may not have been drooling. Her makeup was done up ancient Egyptian style, and she was wearing this:

While watching me make a fool of myself, she was smirking, knowing she had won.
