62 The Forest of Death

*Unknown POV*

Two figures can be seen conversing in the Root Headquarters, the first of these figures was awearing the standard Anbu waistcloak, under which his features were completely invisible.

The figure could be seen knealing in front of his superior.

A middle aged man, whos years were quickly catching up to him. Wrinkles could be seen beggining to decorate his face, wrinkles which would clearly only get worse with time.

He could be seen in similar garbs as his subortinate, only with his hood down.

Of course, if Mizuki was here, he would instantly recognize him as the most hated villain in all of Naruto, Danzo.

Danzo: "That's him?"

He could be seen looking at the contents of a scroll that was just handed to him.

??: "Yes sir, that's him"

Danzo: "Hmm... he appears to be normal"

??: "I can ashure you sir, he is more than capable"

Danzo let loose a disgruntled groan before looking towards the figure with a faint look of disgust.

Danzo: "You sick freal, I am only working with you for the good of the leaf, I can't even begin to imagine what would happen if your true nature was revealed"

??: "*snears* because in independant body that is basically a sectet police within an already divided village is just what the leaf needs."

Danzo looked towards the figure with a gaze filled with hate.

??: "Fufu, don't look at me like that"

Danzo: "Just remember the terms of our agreement... Orochimaru"

Orochimaru: "Whatever you say Danzo"

With the meeting between the two ending, Orochimaru got up and walked away, navigating his way through the complex array of tunnels created by Root which he would use later in his life in order to abduct Konoha citizens for his experiments.[1]

Orochimaru: "I do wonder though, if you can win against him...Mizuki"

Mizuki along with Idate and Anko, were all rushing through the forest expertly, jumping from tree to tree as they advanced towards the Tower without rest.

Idate clutched the scroll which was hidden with him as the team continued to advance.

Their strategy was a relatively simple one, Anko and Mizuki would use their snake like senses in order to search for teams who they would then rush in an attempt to secure their scroll.

Luckily for them, it did not even take them five minutes before they picked up on the signatures of a group of genin, whom were clearly also on the prowl.

That being said, them thinking of themselves as hunters would be absurd to somebody such as Mizuki.

They weren't predators.

They were prey.

His prey.

It took Mizuki and his group twenty minutes to safely approach the other group of genin stealthily whilst also following them.

Mizuki: "These guys are fucking morons"

Mizuki was despeately trying to hold in his laughter

Anko: "Morons? How so?"

Mizuki: "Listen Closely"

*Random Genin POV*

Genin 1: hehehe this exam will be easy, all we need to do is lay a trap at the tower and wait for a team to approach.

Genin 2: "Then Bam! we steal it from them! You are truly a genius!"

Genin 3: "As expected of you!"

Genin 1: "hehehehe, when I become hokage I will remember you guys"

Anko's expression was priceless.

She was desperately trying to hold in her laughter at the genin's antics, as despite his words, he was clearly one of the most incompetent genin she had ever seen.

Even Idate had a light smile on his face seeing this, as it was just so absurd.

Mizuki: {A young master? Are you shitting me?}

Mizuki: "Alright, so how are we going to do this? any one of us could solo them."

Idate: "How about we do one on ones, even if they are severly weaker than us, sometimes its fun to just dominate them"

Mizuki: {Finally! At last I get to enjoy the glory of being overpowered.}

Mizuki: "Sounds good to me. I call the one who was talking out of his ass."

Anko: "Damnit, I wanted to face him."

Mizuki let loose a provactive smile before turning back to their prey.

As the group of genin were running on the ground through the woods, they were surprised when they saw three figures, simply waiting for them.

Anko: "Took you long enough, you know how long you kept us waiting?"

Seeing this scene, most genin with half a brain would realize that an enemy who was able to track them without their knowhow and also were willing to expose themselves, had a couple of tricks up their sleeve.

Not these morons.

Genin 1: "Ahaha, our first prey! Leave your scroll here and we will leave you with your pitiful lives!"

Anko: "Dafaq?"

Genin 1: "I understand now, you are to scared to respond! An understandable response. very well then, We will give you ten seconds"

Mizuki: "Fucking Morons"

Sure, it was kind of funny to see a wild young master in his naturally habitat for the first few minutes. But now he was just fucking annoying.

He stood up and approached the genin before speaking to him.

Mizuki: "Hey, dumbass"

The genin turned to Mizuki with a look of shock on his face, clearly surprised that somebody was calling him such.

Genin 1: "What did you call me?"

Mizuki: "Dumbass, D-U-M-B-A-S-S, what, are you incapable of spelling as well?"

Hearing is insult, the genin's face turned a bright scarlet colour before pointing at mizuki and exlaiming.

Genin 1: "I WAS GOING TO SHOW YOU MERCY, BUT NOW NO MORE!"

Mizuki: "Ok great, let's see you put your money where your mouth is."

Genin 1: "I will deal with you myself"

Mizuki: "Whatever you say"

The genin had an arrogant smile on his face as he looked towards one of his companions.

Genin 2: "When I say go, the fight may begin"

Genin 1: "Excellent"

Mizuki: "Whatever you say."

The genin then began his countdown.

Genin 2: "3, 2, 1..."

Genin 1: "You shall learn to fear me.."

Genin 2: "begin!"

The first genin immediatly got into a horse stance as he quickly welded a single handsign, looking towards Mizuki arrogantly, clearly expecting some kind of reaction.

However, he saw none as Mizuki simply casually walked towards him, as if a casual day in the park.

The genin then welded another handsign, pausing for dramatic effect, he looked towards Mizuki, only to see that his reaction had not changed.

Genin 1: "I'll show him!"

The genin continued to weld hand symbols at an incredibly slow rate, all the whilst Mizuki simply casually approached.

Finally, three handsigns later, the genin finished welding his handsigns, and now had an arrogant expression on his face.

Genin 1: "ha! I have now prepared my jutsu! prepare to die! you should have accepted my mercy when you had the chance!"

Genin 1: "Fire Style: Fire Orb Jutsu!"

He then aimed his jaws towards Mizuki, as the jutsu he was about to perform was basically just a worse fireball jutsu.

However, as he moved his head to aim, he realized that Mizuki was right there.

In the time that he had been prepping his jutsu, Mizuki had simply casually walked towards him.

Genin 1: "YOU FOOL! NOW THAT YOU ARE CLOSER, YOU WILL HAVE NO CHANCE TO DODGE MY FIRE ORB!"

However, Mizuki was able to do just that, and evade the fire orb completely.

Not by dodging mind you, he did not move his body at all.

Instead he moved the source of the flames to be moving away from him.

*SLAP*

Just as the Genin was about to fire his flame orb at Mizuki, he bitch slapped his face so hard that he turned away before spitting the fire orbs in a completely different direction.

The direction of the genin's teammates.
