Chapter 39 (You have no choice)

".little ant... you have something that I desire within you"

Hiro unhurriedly uttered as his voice vibrated against the cave fissures... echoing back in all directions.

"I- I have something that you need?"

Hearing such words... Eli couldn't help but be flabbergasted...

Within him?. It seemed that Eli still haven't caught up yet on the circumstance. He is well conscious of that thing within his mind but he was too immersed in his survival that he overlooked it.

"I- I don't get it?... what possibly could I have within me that you need?... "

Eli inquired in unrest while his heart crumpled wildly within. He just couldn't get it... what thing did an emperor class monster needed from him. A lowly human that can easily be obliterated...

"Since you do not know of it... then I will be taking it forcibly"

'System how can I take the heavenly treasure within his body?... find a way for me'

Hiro unexpectedly paused his movement on the outside with his pair of eyes tightly latched onto the two ants. Though within his mind he began to consult with the system.

'Ding replying to the host... host only needs to consume the body. As for the rest of the process, this system will crack the heavenly treasure apart from within and then embed it into the host body'

The motionless voice quivered inside his mind. Informing him that the simplest way to seize the heavenly treasure would be through him consuming the ant. In other words... kill him.

Unawares Hiro ordered the small human with such odd instructions. Similarly, both Eli and Senior Weyn have numerous tiny suspicions lingering inside their hearts. But due to the gap in strength, they could only endure and obey as they had been instructed.

Eli answered back in a low voice... though his heart was incredibly uneasy at that moment.

"Young master... I have a bad feeling about this."

Suddenly Senior Weyn slowly arrived at his side and whispered into his ears.

"You don't have to tell me that... I already know."

"B-but"

"It's fine... we can get through this. Let him take whatever he wanted and then we will leave. "

"Can we trust him?"

Senior weyn asked in worries...

"We can't..."

Eli answered...

"Which also means we have no other choice...

but to accept whatever comes next."

*Gulp*

He gulped down his saliva while glimpsing his gaze towards the giant head before him.

Listening to this... Senior Weyn had no choice other than to stay silent beside him.

All of these transpired before Hiro's very eyes... but he didn't mind. Let them talk all they want as long as he can get what he needs then everything else are meaningless before him.

"Are you guys done chatting yet?"

Hiro unhurriedly descended his head down... slightly ahead of them as the whiff of breeze blew by against them.

"Y-yes... we have"

*Shivers* *shivers*

Eli faltered in his words while the cold emerald-colored eyes stared down towards his very soul. His body shivered in fear while peeping back towards the giant head in front of him. The distance was extremely tight... barely less than 5 meters away...

"Good... "

"You can die now..."

"Wh-?"

Hearing such abrupt words... Eli's heart halted beating completely... while his eyes magnified in fear... but his reaction was far too delayed of what's coming from the front.

"Young master!!!!"

*swoosh!*

Hiro in lightning velocity... unraveled his giant mouth as he sprang forward. Similarly, Senior Weyn was caught off guard by this abrupt action... but sadly she couldn't get to Eli's side in time as she yelled in panic hysterically.

Everything appeared to slow down before his very eyes...

as he peered towards the giant fleshy mouth that was coming towards him. His eyes wide opened aware but... his body had been frozen and deeply planted onto the ground.

This is the chasm of strength...

"Am I going to die?"

This was his only thought flickering within his mind at that juncture... But sadly he's not the main character of a story. No one can save him other than himself.

*Boom!* *SWOOSH!!!*

His body was instantly gobbled up into Hiro's mouth passing by in front of Senior Weyn as she attempted to move forward towards him.

"Ding congratulations to the host for consuming the Heavenly Treasure container"

Everything comes to pass in a flash...

She had already taken one step ahead as she dropped her right arm to the front... supposedly aiming to grab Eli... but she was too late.

She was directly frozen after Eli's body was devoured by the giant mouth. The gust of wind crashed against her face... her hair fluttered about against it as her eyes broadened in despair and disbelief.

"Yo-young... master??"

Her voice squeaked in silence...

Pain...

Anger...

Sadness...

All of it came at once... surging into her mind.

She was still frozen in place staring dumbly towards where he was previously standing at.

She can't close her eyes... she can't lock her heart anymore.

Her mouth loosened...

Her eyes lid throbbed alongside her slowly thumping heart.

Tears began to trickle about from her eyes... as they gradually drip down onto her cheeks.

"Y-young master..."

She murmured once again but this time... she had completely lost it. Her sanity...

*Swoosh*

"Hmmm, what's with this human?... mannequin performances?"

Hiro slowly tossed his gaze towards the woman frozen in place with his cold glowing eyes.

"She's crying?... did I just eat her boyfriend?"

"Oh well, who cares..."

Hiro wondered about it for a moment...

Consuming a human for the very first time. But he doesn't feel anything even though he was once a human too. And now seeing humans behaving like this... surely any normal person would already have tears in their eyes.

"Hey, you ant... tell me your final wish. Do you want to perish by getting eaten by me or do you want an instant demise grated by my tail?"

Hiro unhurriedly slanted his head downward directly in front of her as his breath thumped against her face.

But she still didn't move even the slightest... as if she had been petrified.

"Hmm... since you didn't say anything I will take it as (I want to get blasted by an energy bomb)..."

*Sizzles!* *Sizzles!*

Hiro unhurriedly unwrapped his mouth as in the next second a massive energy bomb gradually materialized in front of it. Flares of electric current could be seen shimmering here and there around the energy bomb as the rippling sound that it made resounded within the cave.

'What a pitiful ant... you can go die and rest now'

Hiro thought to himself while glancing down towards the heartbroken woman.

*BOOM!*

He rapidly roared it forward... crashing against the woman as she was directly consumed within the giant energy bomb. Plunged away at a horrible momentum straight across the cavern...

And yet she didn't even respond to it...

Surely love had turned her deaf towards reality.

*BOOM!* *TREMBLES* *TREMBLES*

A vast eruption exploded on the other side of the cavern as the floor began to shiver furiously. Sounds of crystal fragments hitting against each other throbbed all around the place...

"Ding congratulations to the host for killing a 10-star magician... Gaining 200 thousand points"

"that should settle it"

Hiro mumbled to himself while glimpsing towards where the explosion occurred. His cold emerald eyes reflected the big encircling red blast on the other end of this cavern.

"System when will the method be ready?... it had been a while already."

While doing so... he asked the system about the method. It's not like he was in urgent need of it but the sooner he gets it the better.

"Ding... It will take up to around 10 more days to complete. Currently, the system is breaking the heavenly treasure down inside the host body, and such the time that it will take to formulate the method will be longer"

"This... mhmm... "

Hiro considered for a minute before deciding on any decision.

"Then do that... "

"Staying here for 10 days more won't hurt. Also, I can finish my next evolution in time."
