Chapter 4 The Second Teacher

God once more appeared and asked him about his 2nd teacher. He had many he could have picked, but he chose Grandmaster Skywalker from the New Jedi Order. Not only was he wise but was quite possibly the greatest lightsaber duelist to ever exist. Gavin hoped that Luke could teach him and help develop his style of lightsaber combat.

Luke appeared much like Meetra had. After greeting, Gavin began to teach he taught from his experience and understanding of the force and philosophy.

Gavin learned how to pilot spaceships, The lessons from Meetra were expanded on. "The limits of the force are your imagination." Luke once said, explaining some of his more ridiculous abilities. Master Skywalker also expanded on where he felt the old Jedi Order had gone wrong. "They started out as monks. They accepted requests to mediate conflicts again and again. Soon, they were tied to the Old Republic and forgot they were supposed to serve the force not to involve themselves in politics."

When asked if that meant that the Jedi should have not become involved, Luke sighed. "No, that is not what I mean." he paused as if considering how to put hoa thoughts to words. "It was not wrong to act as mediators but to become involved in politics, and forget that the Jedi serve the Force not the Republic that is where their mistake began." Luke then guided him through the Galaxy in the force showing Gavin how every life effects the next. All connected in a never ending chain.

By far, the most impressive thing was his swordsmanship. Legends was not kidding when it described him as the greatest lightsaber duelist of all time. Gavin fought him every day. Luke pointed out the weaknesses in his self-made style. "Rivers Flow you call it." He once said,"Rivers not only flow around the land but cut through it. If you can master when to flow around and when to burst through, it will be a powerful style. Soresu's greatest weakness is its lack of attacking. It makes up for this in defensive strength, but if you can manage to better this, then you will be formidable."

Eventually, these lessons came to an end.

When God showed for the 3rd time, he asked who Gavin wanted for a 3rd teacher.
