12 Meeting the Cullens

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I stretched my hand and took it from my nightstand. Taking a glance at who was calling I saw Alice's name. With a groan I answered.

" What do you want?" I asked straight away trying to return to sleep as fast as possible.

" What do I want? Hahaha. Well first of all, good morning Theo!" She said excitedly.

" Morning, now what do you want?" I asked.

"I just called you so you can start getting ready. Rosalie is on her way to your place she'll be there in about 15 minutes." She replied with her usual cheerful voice.

" 15 minutes! What time is it anyway?" I grumbled in my pillow.

" Well it's already 10am. Where you perhaps still asleep?" She asked.

" Yeah!" I replied while stretching. " All right I'll get dressed. Do you want me to bring any drawing materials or do you have everything at home?" I asked.

" It's allright I already have everything here. Just hurry up and get dressed Rosalie is gonna be there any moment." She replied.

" Ok see you in a bit then." I added before hanging up.

Immediately after hanging up I buried my head back in my pillow. Not even a minute later. My phone rang again. Answering without looking at the caller. I heard Alice shouting into my ear. " THEO I KNOW YOU RETURNED BACK TO SLEEP! WAKE UP ALREADY!" Which made me immediately hang up on the pixie.

Immediately after hanging up, my phone rang again. Looking at the caller ID again I saw Alice name. Responding to her and immediately telling her. "Ok ok, geez I'm up." And hanging up on her again.

I stretched one last time before stumbling my way out of bed and into the shower. And while in the shower. I heard Bella banging on the bathroom door.

" Theo! Rosalie is here I invited her in she's waiting for you in the living room." Bella shouted at me through the door.

" Thanks Bella, can you keep her company and tell her I'll be there in 5 minutes." I asked while stopping the water in the shower.

" Ok..." she replied skeptically.

I dried myself and got dressed quickly before going downstairs and noticing Bella and Rosalie watching Tv. I could visibly see how uncomfortable Bella was around Rosalie. By the giant gape that was between them.

Jumping over the couch and seating myself between both of them, I pulled Rose in a half hug by putting one of my arms behind her neck and pulling her to me.

"Hi Rosie!" I greeted her and gave her a small pec on her temple.

Rose had a small barely noticeable smile before she stiffened and turned it back into her usual ice queen face and pushed me away from her. " Hi to you too Theo." She then stood up and went to the door to put on her shoes.

I just kept looking at her weirdly, trying to understand if I did something wrong. "Rosie is everything ok?" I asked.

She looked back at me with a raised eyebrow. " Of course, now hurry you don't want to keep Alice waiting." She added before exiting the house without waiting for me.

I looked at Bella with an eyebrow raised. And she just shrugged my way before returning her attention to the Tv.

I quickly put some sneakers on and sat myself in Rosalie car. She drove in silence for a couple of seconds before I decided to break the silence.

"Rose is everything allright?" I asked.

" Why wouldn't it be?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well maybe it has something to do with you pushing me away not too long ago?" I replied while studying her face.

" No everything is fine.... *sigh*.... I'm just kind of new to all of this." She said while pointing a finger between the two of us. " I just need to get used to displaying affection, is all. Nothing is wrong with us." She said while putting a reassuring hand on my thigh.

" Ok sure, take your time we'll go at whatever pace you feel comfortable at." I replied while holding the hand she put on my thigh and squeezing it gently.

As Rosalie's car pulled up to her driveway, I was mesmerized by the Cullen house or should I call it a mansion.

The mansion stood at the top of a hill, surrounded by trees from all directions. The only way to the mansion was the road leading to it.

The road lead directly to the large garage to the right side of the house. The walls of the mansion were mainly made out of glass panels. Added to the sleek wood and black metal exterior. And the rectangular shape of the house. Giving the house a modern look to it.

(A/N I tried describing it but I just wasn't capable enough so here's a pic for that. Basically same as the movies.)

"*whistle* damn nice place." I said while getting out of the car.

Rosalie just gave me a small smile. Before taking my hand and leading me inside.

The moment, the door was opened I got ran into by an overexcited pixie.

" THEOO!!" The little ball of energy screamed directly in my ear.

I just hugged her back, with way less enthusiasm than her. Not that I wasn't happy to see her. Just that I can't get as excited as she is no matter what the occasion might be.

" Missed you too Alice." I said while patting her back. Alice was holding on me like a koala with her feet wrapped on my midsection so her head can reach next to my ear.

I could see in the corner of my eyes the twitching eyebrow of Rosalie. Who looked about to blow a fuse on the little pixie.

" Alice get off him." Rosalie seethed next to me while I felt her hold on my hand tighten.

Afraid that she might accidentally break my hand in the process. I tried taking it out of hers. Which only resulted in her hold to tightening even further.

Alice finally got off me but proceeded to hold my other hand. Which resulted in a scowl to be plastered on Rosalie face but at least her hold on me loosened.

With a slight squeeze from my part to Rosalie's hand she relaxed and gave me a small smile.

" Let me introduce you to our parents." Rosalie said while giving a slight glare to my hand that was held by Alice. The little pixie only put her tongue out mocking Rosalie and proceeded to ignore her glare.

Rosalie let out a tired sight before walking me up stairs to the kitchen where her family just finished cooking breakfast.

As we made it to the top my hand were finally freed from their grasp.

" Theo this is Carlisle my father." She said. As she motioned me to a light blond man with slicked back hair and the usual golden eyes. He looked to be in his mid 20's and exactly like his movie counterpart.

" Hi I'm Theodore Swan." I said to Carlisle while extending my hand toward him to shake it.

" Nice to meet you Theodore, you must be Chief Swan's son?" Carlisle asked as he shook my hand.

" Yes sir." I replied.

" A good man." He added.

" Thanks sir I'll make sure to tell him. He seems to think highly of you as well." I said.

Rosalie then introduced me to Esme. " Theo this is my mother Esme." She said while presenting me with her hand to Esme.

Esme smiled at me with eyes that seemed to radiate motherly love. Before she hugged me briefly and introduced herself.

" Nice to finally meet you Theodore." Esme said.

" The pleasure is all mine." I replied with a smile.

" And you've already met the rest of the family." Rosalie said.

I smiled and waved at the rest of the Cullens minus Edward who I still didn't see since the night I tried killing him.

" Did you have breakfast?" Rosalie asked.

" No I didn't have time, you came quicker than I expected." I said.

" Well we just finished cooking ours you wouldn't mind joining us?" Asked Esme eagerly.

" I would love to." I replied respectfully.

Before I quickly followed after Esme who guided me to the kitchen table.

I finally had my hands free, and I didn't want to be dragged in an another tug of war between my girlfriend and my best friend.

On the table was a huge english breakfast, with toasts, eggs, sausages, bacon and beans.

As I sat at the the table, Emmet started teasing me trying to get a reaction out of me.

"~So you and Rosalie?~" Emmet asked as he started wiggling his eyebrows with a teasing smirk.

Edythe at his side only smiled and took a seat next to him.

" Yes." I responded without giving in to his taunting.

He deflated comically at my response and said in a dejected voice." Damn you're no fun just like Rosalie, I guess you two were made for each other."

" Hey don't talk about my best friend like that! He's fun!" Exclaimed Alice from my side as she sat at my left.

" Well I tell it as I see it." Emmet added.

Both started arguing back and forth.

Rosalie who was still standing had an empty plate in her hand. " Just ignore Emmet that's what I do. So what do you want?" She asked while pointing to the plates of different food on the table.

" A little of everything would be great." I replied with a grateful smile. It was my first time at her parents house, and I didn't feel confortable serving myself. Seems she noticed.

She put more than a little of everything but I didn't point it out to her. I had a pretty big appetite with how much I worked out anyway.

" Here you go." Rosalie said as she brought me a full plate and sat next to me with a smile.

Everyone had served themselves, and seemed to be waiting for me to take the first bite.

I cut a small portion of sausage and tasted it.

Esme seemed to be paying attention at what my reaction would be.

" So how is it?" Asked Alice from next to me.

" It's great!" I said with a small smile and thankful nod in Esme direction.

She beamed at me and proceeded to start eating from her plate. Hiding a small amount of disgust at every bite.

It surprised me how everyone at the table forced themselves to eat, what probably felt like dirt to them.

( A/N Twilight vamps can eat human food but have to throw it up at some point. Since their digestive system is frozen in time like the rest of their body.)

" So you work out?" Asked Emmet between bites trying to distract himself from the disgusting taste.

" Yeah, I try my best. Just can't do so as seriously as I used to. Can't seem to find a gym in Forks." I said with a sigh.

" Yeah, closest one is in Seattle." Emmet said.

" Yeah that's too far since I don't have a car yet." I said.

" Well I have a couple of weights in the garage. If you want you can have them." He said.

" That'll be great, thanks bro." I replied with a smile as I kept eating my food. I started stagnating in my training and it would help a lot to train with weights.

" Hey Theo, I've been thinking of losing some weight. Why don't we both register at the gym, that way I'll drive you to Seattle so we can work out together?" Rosalie asked with a little wince when she talked about losing some weight.

She was way too into her appearance to even think she wasn't less than perfect, appearance wise, weight wise, height wise. You name it she was perfect in every way possible. A true Aphrodite.

She was making any excuse to spend more time with me. And I definitely didn't mind.

" That would be great!" I replied with a smile. I then poked her belly. "~And you do need to lose a little weight. With how much you ate just for breakfast.~" I added with a teasing tone.

Emmet booming laughter soon resonated followed by Alice's uncontrollable fit of giggles. The rest of her family only laughed lightly while hiding their mouths with their hands. To not anger Rosalie.

Rosalie furiously dropped her fork on the table as she glared at me. But the small tug on her lips made me understand she wasn't really mad.

" Your lucky I like you." Rosalie said with a playful glare.

I just smiled innocently at her, and gave her quick kiss on her cheek.

" See I told you my best friend was fun!" Exclaimed Alice as she stood up on her chair with her hands at the side of her hips with a triumphant smile while looking down on Emmet.

" Alice! No standing on the chairs." seethed Esme.

Alice immediately plopped down with a pout while grumbling" Sorry Esme."

Jasper who had been silent all this time, proceeded to confort her, with a smile.

Everyone finished the food on their plate, greatly surprising me. I didn't think they would go this far to keep their secret. Maybe they were more guarded against me since Edythe and Edward can't read my mind.

As I stood up to help Esme tidy the table. I was held back by Rosalie. " I'll help her, you should go finish your art project with Alice. I would like for us to have a little time to ourselves when you're done." Rose said before pushing me gently toward Alice.

Who immediately grabbed in to my hand and started walking me to the 3rd floor of their house. Where her room was situated.

As we made it into Alice room, I was impressed by how much pieces of Art where hung around the room.

The walls were full of paintings that were probably hand made by Alice. While she had a full wall in her room that consisted of a giant library. Containing the huge collection of historical books collected by Jasper throughout the years.

She had 3 doors, in her room. The first leading to a luxurious bathroom with a extravagant bathtub. The second leading to a room sized walk in closet. With the biggest collection of clothes I had ever seen. She probably had million dollars worth in bags alone. Without counting the expensive jewelry and the designer clothes. The last door lead to a small studio sized room. With painting accessories, and different finished and unfinished paintings scattered in the room.

"* Whistle* damn Alice nice room" I exclaimed in disbelief at how rich the Cullens really were. But with Alice gift it wouldn't be surprising if they were billionaires.

Alice just laughed at my gaping mouth before forcefully closing it with her hand.

" You better close your mouths before you end up eating a fly." She shimmed with a smile.

" Anyway let's start finish the project. Since you already finished painting me." I said as I pointed at the painting of me she had in her art room. " All that is left is me painting you."

" You better make it great!" She exclaimed as she took a pose in front of me.

" Well don't expect something as great as yours. I only took Art since they didn't have an improv class in forks. They only had either Art or Music and I'm terrible when it comes to playing any instrument." I said with a smile.

" I'm sure you'll do great! Now start drawing I don't want to stand here all day." She said as she kept staying still holding her original pose.

After 2 hours of drawing and talking with Alice, I was finally done. The painting didn't look as terrible as I expected but it definitely didn't capture how beautiful Alice really looked.

Alice looked at the painting with scrutinizing eyes. "Well it's not great, but it'll do."

" Hey now that we're done. Let's go play some video games down stairs." Alice exclaimed excitedly.

I was about to inform her I had plans with Rose. But she just rushed out of her room. Expecting me to follow after her.

With a resigned sigh I followed after the overexcited Alice. It surprised me how she managed to sit still for a whole 2 hours. With how much energy she has, I was sure she would keep moving around.

I followed the ball of energy to the living room, where Emmet was seated in front of the Tv with a remote in his hand playing with Edythe. They were playing Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. And Edythe seemed to be mopping the floor with Emmet. With her gift to read minds she was avoiding every move he made.

" Hey guys, Theo and I are up next!" Alice exclaimed.

" Are you any good?" asked Emmet.

" Well good enough to no get my ass utterly destroyed by Edythe I'm sure of that." I replied mockingly.

" Oh you think you can do better?" Asked Edythe with a smile.

" I'm pretty confident in my skills." I replied with a confident smile.

" Hey stop cheating!" Emmet shouted at his girlfriend as she was about to win with perfect health. Emmet not managing to land a single hit.

Without noticing we ended up spending 3 hours playing on the PS2. I managed to beat Edythe since she was too reliant on her gift, but Alice was unbeatable no matter what anyone of us tried.

And since we played king of the court, she played the whole 3 hours. Without having to switch once.

Rosalie walked in the living room, with a tray of 2 hamburgers and fries. "It's already 4pm you haven't had dinner yet. And what happened to our alone time?" She asked with a slight frown.

" Yeah sorry, I got too into the game." I replied while scratching the back of my head.

" Well we still have time. Let's watch a movie in my room." Rosalie said as she gave me the tray of food.

" Sure, thanks for the food." I said with a smile.

" Anytime." She replied with a sweet smile.

Before guiding me to her room.

Alice was about to complain, but Jasper made it to the living room. Stopping any protest she had. As she made time for her mate as well.

I followed Rose as she guided me to her room.

The moment the door to her room was closed behind us. She crashed her lips with mine in a needy manner.

I didn't fight it and just reciprocated the action.

After a couple of seconds she finally pulled away. With a blissful smile.

" God I wanted to do this all day!" Rose breathed out.

" Why didn't you then? I would have but I promised I'd go at your pace." I said.

" I would but it just feels weird to me. To show affection around the others. Even if they're my family it still feels weird to me. Just smiling as much as I did today, felt wrong." She said as she leaned on me with a slight smile.

I kissed the top of her head, " Take your time then, we don't have to rush anything." I said.

She just hummed in approval.

I crashed on her bed and made myself comfortably while Rose snuggled to my side. I didn't mind her cold body, and already got used to interacting with vampires so I didn't flinch or show any discomfort at her touch.

We ended up watching Bruce Almighty, while I ate the burgers and fries she had brought me.

Halfway through the movie I felt Rose hand start trailing up and down my arm. As she slowly started touching me.

Taking it as an invitation, I started giving her slight kisses on top of her head.

She started trailing kissed on my neck before looking up in my eyes and started kissing me on the lips.

We immediately deepened the kiss as Rosalie moved from her side hug position to straddling me. Leading us to steamy make out session.

I trailed my hands down her back, as I wanted to grab her ass. But just before I reached it. I felt her stiffen in my arms so I retracted my hands immediately. Not wanting to make her uncomfortable.

Seeing as I wasn't trying to grab her ass anymore she resumed kissing me in a needy manner.

After a couple of minutes of our heavy make out session. Rosalie rested her head on my chest. As she held me in a hug.

" Thanks." Rosalie said after a couple of minutes of silence.

" For what?" I asked.

" For going at my pace." She replied as she gave me a grateful smile.

I gave her a small peck on her head, " Anytime." I said.

My phone rang at that moment, looking at the caller I saw Bella's number.

Thinking she might be calling to know when I would be coming home. I immediately answered.

" Sup Bella." I said.

"...." But I got no answer.

" Bella? Can you hear me? I can't hear you?" I asked.

" ..." Still no answer.

Just as I was about to ask again. I heard a a smooth voice.

" Theodore Swan?" An unfamiliar male voice resonated in my ear.

Alarms immediately started going through my mind as I stood up abruptly.

" Who are you?" I asked furiously.

" Oh me, nobody. But you have garnered the attention of certain people. And they need your help." The voice said in a crazy like tone.

" And what makes you think I would help you?" I seethed.

" Well it's either you help us, or your sister is dead." He replied gleefully.

(A/N I decided to go off script of the usual twilight events. I will include of course characters and everything else in the trope and certain events as well. But I will be changing a lot. So that the story doesn't end up as boring for me to write. And hopefully not boring for you to read.
