17 Training Party

The two fierce dragon silhouettes roared at one another before flying off their casters' limbs. The Azure Dragon Punch, the other Green Leaf Dragon Kick, slammed into each other sending shock waves throughout the forest,

Naruto was holding onto a branch, desperately trying not to be swept away by the powerful gusts of kinetic energy.

A large explosion erupted from the focal point of their attack and created a crater in between the two. As degraded Chakra and dust floated into the air like smoke from a fire, the outline of the two fighters could be seen standing apart from one another.

Kibo's face was pale. It took every ounce of strength he had not to be crushed under the weight of his own technique.

He coughed up a mouth full of blood, and his wounds were obvious to see, but luckily Kibo could feel his gate of healing rapidly repairing the fractured bones, and ruptured muscles in his body, Kibo then stared across the gulf to see his opponent's condition. Chen's appearance was completely healthy, not the least bit of exhaustion could be seen on his face, only that of complete surprise.

"I must say, you have the Chakra of a Peak Genin, at most. Yet this technique at least allowed you to reach, low-grade Kage Level in physical strength. However, currently, your body is too young to handle the pressure from the influx of natural energy," Chen assessed his technique.

As he looked over Kibo's constitution, Roshi rubbed his chin and said, "Why are you trying so hard to make me accept you as disciples?"

Kibo collapsed in a pool of sweat, sighed while looking at the sky, and then said, "You know I looked you up in Konoha's records, but more specifically I looked up your last student's."

Chen's eyes widened before Kibo continued speaking, "I can understand why you're hurting. But your selfish attitude will leave the Leaf Ninjas weaker as a whole if you don't pass on your skills."

Kibo sat up, hoping the right words could help Roshi fight through his pain, "Did you know that during that final struggle, it was your student who chose to stay behind and protect his retreating allies?"

Chen's expression turned sour, but Kibo didn't stop. "He held off the enemy Shinobi all by himself and saved 148 fellow Konoha Ninjas."

A bit of water formed at the edge of Chen's eyes. "Your student's actions were of his own making. If he could stand in front of you today and hear you given up teaching because of him, what do you think his reaction would be?"

"You should really stop blabbering about things you know nothing about, Kid," Chen spoke defensively, letting Kibo know he was on the right track.

"He'd be disappointed in you, and ashamed of himself for being the reason you quit teaching! You gave him everything, even the chance to fulfill his dream and protect his village, his family, and his friends. I think instead of wallowing over his death like a weak old man, he would rather want to see you proud of him. He would rather be thanking you for helping him and being his teacher. Be the master he was so gratified to call his own."

The tears from Chen finally began falling. The emotional moment lasted a bit but, after he calmed down he looked at Naruto and Kibo, refreshed.

With a sigh, he took off his sunglasses, and like a stone being lifted from his back, the elder Chen Roshi stood straight up. His earlier hunched over stature could no longer be seen.

In front of the two stood a tall and stern-looking man that suddenly shouted, "Well! Is this how you greet your master?!"

The two made a startled jump, but then quickly performed a traditional bow one would use when accepting their teacher.

"Students greet teacher!" The two shouted.

[Mission Complete! Reward: 1,000 Pts, and a Random Jutsu Relic.]

"Good. Every day after class, you two will come and receive training from me." The two nodded their heads in excitement, as they ran home that day at max speed.

After going to school the next day they felt like it would never end, but after class, something interesting happened.

Hinata walked up to Naruto and asked him and asked, "N. N. Naruto C. c Can I join you in your training?"

Kibo looked surprised at Hinata's bravery while thinking that the fact both he and Naruto saved her, could've deepened her desire to be with him.

That or during her time training with Karin yesterday, the red-head Uzukamki managed to give Hinata some encouragement.

Kibo thought it was probably Karin's doing.

While Naruto was glancing at Kibo for recognition, Kibo gave a subtle nod of acceptance.

He jumped up in joy while hugging Hinata. "Yay! Now I get to see more of Hinata!" Hinata's body temperature sky-rocketed.

The young Hyuga had reached her Naruto exposure limit and passed out from embarrassment.

Kibo laughed as Naruto shook her gently trying to wake her.

"Shut it! Nii Chan!" Naruto said with a red face.

"But...It's so funny!" Kibo said as he fell on his back, laughing the whole way down.

When Hinata finally opened her eyes she spoke in her shyest tone, "I'm sorry! Did I passed out again?!"

Naruto's red face matched Hinata as he said, "Don't worry just think of this as training too."

Karin who was forcefully holding her arm around Kibo's elbow said, "Do you think she has enough Chakra to even start your training?"

Kibo looked over Hinata with his Tengan, she had an amazingly powerful dormant Chakra Pool, however, she wouldn't be able to access it until she grew stronger and realized it.

Kibo was trying to think of and find a way to help increase her Chakra levels earlier so she could truly train with them.

"Navi any ideas?" Kibo asked as he ran out of ideas.

"You could use the Azure Dragon Tears I collected!" Navi replied.

"Hey, I wondered where those went! How come I didn't see it in my Inventory?" Kibo questioned.

"I was removing the bestial nature from the Chakra. Now that they're purified, non-elemental Chakra Crystals, anyone can use them to increases their Chakra limits. However, the energy is extremely potent. I suggest the host uses a buffer such as water, earth, or other objects to lower the crystal's output."

"Any other recommendations?" Kibo asked, full of curiosity.

"It's recommended for the Host to absorb ambient energy the Dragon Tear produce over time. If the Host attempts to absorb the raw energy all at once, the chances of overloading your Chakra channels and exploding are high. The Host should also note that this is a useful ingredient in making Chakra Items."

Kibo had the system chop off a fist-sized piece of Azure Blue Gem and then broke them into 4 even diamond-shaped sections.

Walking up to a tree, Kibo took off a piece of branch around the size of his entire arm and transported it into his system.

"Navi can you displace the wood inside and swap it with a Chakra Crystal? If you can, cut them out into coin-shaped pendants. Make sure the wood has at least 2 inches thickness over the surface of the crystal."

"Yes! Ding! Action complete." Kibo withdrew the items from his inventory and placed a hole through the top, and began imbuing it with wood nature energy.

Suddenly the pendants looked like they started to breathe. Inside the loop, formed a vine that Kibo weaved in a spiderwebbing-like pattern, forming the lace.

"Wood energy to nurture the body, and pure Chakra to accelerate training."

[Congratulations to Host for making a Chakra Accessory. C Ranked Creation! The Host is awarded: +5 to his Chakra Smith Skill. 500 System Points.]

"Please Name Creation!" Navi chimed in.

Kibo looked like he was thinking hard, "How about Branch of Life Pendant!"

[Branch of Life Pendant(C-Ranked): Capable of nourishing wearer's physique and Chakra limit overtime by an increased rate of 20%.]

Kibo then made four more, an amulet that could be worn around the waist or hung from a belt, small ropey wrist bands, and an anklet.

Each of the creations altogether enhanced training speeds by 120% and gave Kibo 2,000 more System points.

After pulling out the accessories, Kibo handed them to Naruto while whispering, "You can have these, they'll increase your training speed, but. . ." He looked to Hinata then back at Naruto and said "I thought you might want to carve something into the pendent before you give it to her."

"But this is yours. Why don't you give it to her?" Naruto asked before Kibo hit him in the head.

"Because I'm giving them to you; what you do with it is your own business," Kibo said before giving them space.

Naruto blushed and said his thanks as he pulled out a kunai, and began marking into the wood.

After a few minutes, Naruto had drawn the whirlpool symbol on the back and covered the front in a field of lilies that looked like they were growing out to reach the sun in the center.

During all this Hinata was watching his face with a captivated stare, she liked how attentive and dedicated to his work he was, and how Naruto's facial expressions showed his true self.

When he finished, Naruto turned around and said, "Here Hinata this set is for you!"

Seeing the presents, she wanted to refuse as she waved her arms and said, "B.b.b.but I didn't get you anything!"

Kibo interrupted their awkward moment before saying, "These items are for you so you can train with us."

Kibo told her the properties of the accessories Naruto was gifting, shocking the group.

"When you can perform a single Shadow Clone then you can join us. Naruto has done a lot of practice that you need to catch up on."

Kibo pulled out copies of the Shadow Clone Technique and the Pink Muscle Transformation Technique before handed them to her.

"These are two techniques you'll need to master to keep up with us, Naruto has already learned these, and more." Kibo then turned to Naruto and said, "And if Naruto allows it, you can learn something extra when you come to train."

Kibo was referring to the Ninshu Scroll.

Naruto quickly caught on to what he was talking about and said, "I don't mind if Hinata sees it."

Kibo nodded his head and declared, "Welcome to the training group.

Hinata smiled while taking hold of the accessories Naruto was giving her.

"The Whirlpool Symbol on the back is my signature. The front represents your name. Flower's reaching towards the sunny place! That's a good name for the work." Naruto said while acting like a big shot[1]

Hinata was very happy. Her words couldn't describe just how much it meant to her. She stared at the Chakra Accessories with a smile on her face and enjoyed the moment.

After a few seconds passed of her daydreaming, Naruto placed his hand on her shoulder and asked, "Hinata, you okay? You didn't faint again, did you?"

She didn't before, but once she felt Naruto touching her shoulder, she sure felt like doing just that.

Kibo laughed as he watched the awkward couple refused to part.

"I'll head on back and let mom know you'll be late coming home. After all, Naruto, you should walk your girl home." Kibo teased while leaving the area alongside Karin.

"Na. Naruto's girl?!" Hinata said fainting yet again.

Naruto caught her and said, "Great. Now, I gotta carry her home."

Kibo and Karin had walked quite a distance before she tugged on his sleeve and asked, "So do I get one too?"

Within a few seconds, Kibo pulled out two new sets of accessories and used his Star Chakra Molding to carve out the whirlpool symbol and on the front his own clan symbol.

He then handed it to her, "Naruto's Symbol?"

Kibo laughed, "No it's the Uzumaki Symbol. After all, you are a pure-blood."

"Nani?" Karin shouted in surprise.

Kibo then explained to her about the Uzumaki Clan and their traits. A bit of their history as well.

Karin was shocked, to say the least.

However, when she thought Naruto and her could be distantly related, she felt happy that another relative of hers was surviving.

"And the image on the front?" Karin asked batting her eyes at him.

Kibo scratched his face while blushing. "It's to show you're my girl. I know I don't show it, but life with you sounds fun."

Karin pulled her body closer to his arm and rested her head on his shoulder. "Thank you, Kibo. For everything."

Karin cried a little making Kibo feel flustered.

As he finished carving up his own, Kibo placed the same clan symbol on the back and drew Seiryu on the front of his own pendant.

After putting on all the accessories on Kibo realized that he was walking down a familiar path.

Up ahead aways, was the lake where Itachi and Fugaku would take Sasuke to train his Fire Release Jutsu.

As they walked by, they could hear the sounds of someone shouting, "Great Fire Ball Jutsu!"

The area suddenly changed in color. The large ball of flames lit up the surroundings even though it was still bright out.

Kibo looked over to see Sasuke and Itachi training together, when suddenly, Kibo had an idea.

He asked Karin to hang around here for him here for a bit before saying "I want to talk to those Uchiha for a while."

Karin nodded her head and stood waiting at the hilltop patiently.

As Kibo got closer, Itachi saw him approaching.

A smile came across the older brother's face as he waved his hand and said, "Hey, Kibo. It's good to see you again."

The sudden change in Itachi's behavior caused Sasuke's concentration to wane. After his Jutsu canceled out, Sasuke could hear his brother calling out, "It's been a long time, friend."

Sasuke was stunned. His eyes then went wide before suddenly shouting "Isn't that guy from my class?!"

Kibo walked up to him and said, "Good to see you as well, Itachi!"

The two shook hands and Sasuke's jaw dropped wide open.

"Glad to hear you recovered from your injury! Still to think that a tiny little pill has all the Medical Nin scratching their heads in confusion. That Medicine God mentioned in the report, is he truly capable of such a thing?" Itachi questioned.

Kibo scratched his head and laughed before saying, "You can see for yourself that it's true. It's obvious that I've healed up, but I can't say the same for you. Your injury is one that isn't visible to the naked eye."

Itachi frowned as Kibo pointed to his lungs and continued speaking, "Last time when I looked at you with my Tengan, I saw part of your body that has weaker and damaged life force."

"What are you trying to say? My brother's injured?" Sasuke shouted with anger in his voice.

Kibo shook his head and said, "No. I'm saying he's sick! Probably lung cancer."

Itachi's eyes widened as Kibo explained the symptoms he was growing all too familiar with, "Sometimes when you wake up at night and find it hard to breathe. You have random coughing fits. When you're practicing your flame release techniques, you feel a sharp pain in your lungs."

Sasuke started to panic because he'd seen the symptoms, "He's wrong! Right? Itachi Nii Chan?" The look on his face however showed the severity of the situation. Kibo purchased a Panacea Pill from his shop for 1,000 System Points and tossed it to Itachi.

"That pill should take care of your illness," Kibo said with his arms crossed.

"Why are you helping me?" Itachi asked with a look of confusion.

He didn't think that Kibo would harm him considering all he's done for the Uchiha Clan. But he wouldn't take a random drug without knowing what Kibo's intentions were.

Kibo answered him while thinking of his past life, "A long time ago, I was sick too. But I had some luck and now I'm all better. I'm just passing on the kindness that was given to me by that weird Medicine Man."

And once again, the mythical God of Medicine saves the day.

Itachi smiled as he didn't sense any fluctuation in Kibo's speech. After swallowing the pill, he felt the medicine start to dissipate in his stomach.

The medicine felt like foam that was slowly rising from his feet while cleansing his body. When the pills medicinal effects reached his lungs, Sasuke's eyes widened in panic.
