Internships.

[Third person POV]

"Now that everyone's decided on their hero names, we can go back to talking about your upcoming internships. They'll last for one week. As for who you'll be working with. Those of you who were on the board will choose from among your offers, everyone else will have a different list."

"You have a lot to think about. There are around 40 agencies across the country who've agreed to take on interns from your class. Each agency has a different specialty that its heroes focus on. Keep that in mind."

"Imagine that you were Thirteen. You'd want to choose a place that focuses on rescuing people, not fighting villains. Understand? Think carefully before you decide." Explained Aizawa.

"Yes, sir!" Most of the class.

"I want to fight crime and bad guys in a big city." Kirishima.

"I just hope I can intern someplace where there's a lot of flooding. Or maybe a lake." Tsuyu.

"Turn in your choices before the weekend." Aizawa.

"We've only got two days?" Sero.

"Yeah, so you should start now. You're dismissed." Aizawa left the room with his sleeping bag.

"So, guys, have you decided what pro agency you wanna go for?" Mina.

"Mt. Lady's my top choice!" Mineta.

"Mineta-chan. Are you thinking something perverted?" Tsuyu.

"Possibly…"

"Dude. I have heard that she is a total slob, if you wanna do something productive you should pick a different one." Kaito.

"If she is as you say then, after doing everything she will see me as a perfect gentleman! And then! Then!!!!"

"Its good to have dreams, but hallucinations are a different story." Kaito commented while going back to his desk.

"Mina, you made it pretty far in the tournament. It's weird you didn't get any offers." Ochaco.

"Right?! So unfair!"

"Hey, Deku, who's on your list?" Ochaco looks at Midoriya who is muttering something.

"There are only 40 heroes who'll take us, so after looking up their specialties and splitting them into groups, I can start narrowing..."

'There he goes again.' Thought Tsuyu, Ochaco, Mina and Mineta.

"Huh? Oh. Sorry, what'd you guys say?" Midoriya.

"You're really thinking hard about this, aren't you?" Tsuyu.

"It'll all work out. I've settled on my pick." Ochaco.

"Already? What agency?"

"The one that the Battle Hero: Gunhead."

"Huh? Gunhead is a big brawler, though, are you sure that's where you wanna intern, Uraraka?"

"Yup! He sent me an offer."

"Whoa, really? But I thought you were trying to be a hero kinda like Thirteen, more into rescuing than fighting."

"Ultimately, that's the plan. But I've been thinking ever since the festival…Well, at least since I faced off against Bakugo. The stronger I am, the more possibilities I'll have. Plus, learning from a battle hero will give me a different perspective. Right?"

"Yeah, totally."

"More importantly, there's something I've been meaning to ask you all day. Why are you trembling?"

"Oh. This? It's the air chair exercise."

"Air chair exercise? Were you doing that during the whole class?" Ochaco.

"There's no way! That's such an old-fashioned way to train." Mineta.

"A smart one, though. The isometric muscle contraction that's needed to hold your body above your seat makes it an easy way to work out without moving." Kaito appeared again.

"But, if you are gonna flex, you have to do it right." Kaito gets in an 15º angle.

(For you to have a mental image, imagine Michael Jackson's move, not the moonwalk, the other one.)

"Holy crap! How do you do that!?" Mina.

"Years of training."

"Since you are here again, what hero will you join during the internships?" Tsuyu.

"Well, I received only 50, but one of these guys is actually him."

Kaito shows a paper with Endeavor's agency name.

"ENDEAVOR!?" the quartet yelled catching everyone's attention.

"Yeah, I guess he sees this as repaying me for making Todoroki use his flames."

"Wow!" Mina.

'I don't want to be near that excuse of a parent, but the Hosu incident is part of the main story, I need to make sure that the situation won't worsen.' Thought Kaito.

Afterwards everyone went home. Kaito warned some of his classmates to chose an appropriate place for the internship, he warned Yaoyorozu about her choice and tried to make her reconsider but she didn't believe him.

'This gal is a little ignorant.' Kaito thought.

When Kaito got home, he got a text from Midoriya.

'Can I train with you tomorrow?'

'Huh, he is improving. I'll put you through hell, BE PREPARED.'

[Next day]

It was Saturday so, early in the morning the training began. Both teenagers are in a secret place in the forest, the place has all sorts of marks in the terrain. It is the same place were Kaito trains most of his techniques.

"Listen up Midoriya. My breathing techniques are extremely powerful and beneficial to the body, however the lower the proficiency the bigger the backlash it will cause you."

Midoriya nods.

"First: I am going to teach you the complete version of the 'Total Concentration Breathing Technique', it will be extremely difficult, also. Second: you will train your energy control throughout your body, and Third: we will battle against each other."

Kaito starts explaining the technique to Midoriya and let him memorize it.

"Remember! If you teach this to anyone else, I will castrate you."

"*GULP*" Midoriya.

Midoriya spend the whole morning learning the technique but had to stop because he was at his limit. While he was doing that, Kaito honed his techniques over and over again to attain the perfect outcome, a strong attack that can cut through anything, but doesn't leave the user tired.

When Midoriya took some time to rest he started to visualize Kaito's techniques and started to compare his breathing with his.

'Constantly, he is using the technique constantly, as if he is breathing normally. Each time I use OFA I sense some type of connection with the technique, if my attacks are an egg inside a microwave without exploding, the breathing technique would be some sort of switch to control the temperature.'

'The problem is that, I can only materialize said switch for a low time. On top of that, my body is not strong enough to handle higher OFA outputs.'

Kaito called Midoriya and told him that it is time for the mock battle.

Midoriya started to attack Kaito with punches but Kaito easily evaded them. Kaito counters elbowing Midoriya in the chest.

Kaito rushes at Midoriya and starts throwing a barrage of punches and kicks to defeat him. Midoriya uses the Breathing Technique and dashes away from there but Kaito followed him.

'Wind Breathing Martial Arts: Aerial Ace.'

Kaito dashes even faster and tackled Midoriya with his head. Midoriya rolls on the ground but immediately moved after sensing the next move.

'Fighting Breathing Martial Arts: Rock Smash.'

Kaito's fist connects with the ground and shatters it. Midoriya gets close to land a hit but Kaito blocks with his other fist and headbutts Midoriya.

This time Midoriya was not fast enough and gets hit by Kaito's attack.

'Water Breathing Martial Arts: Surging Strikes!'

A barrage of fast attacks overwhelms Midoriya and immobilize him in the spot, with all his willpower he gathers enough energy in his finger to blast Kaito but not to break it.

"Delaware…SMASH!"

The air cannon threw Kaito to the Horizon and Midoriya was left with his injuries and he still felt the aching pain.

'My finger…its not broken, but Kaito was blasted away. It must be the technique, hopefully that bought me some…'

Midoriya's train of thought stopped when he saw Kaito charging his way towards him to deliver the finishing blow.

"I won't back down, Kaito! I will win this battle, even if it's just training."

"That's the idea, go all out or get wrecked."

"Detroit! SMASH!!!"

"Dark Breathing Martial Arts: WICKED BLOW!!!"

Midoriya's fist was covered in some greenish energy whereas Kaito's whole arm seemed bigger and more muscular.

Both fists connected and a shockwave was generated. Midoriya's arm was getting a little sore, even though he is using the breathing to regulate his energy, the situation is making it hard for him to control it.

'Close! I'm so close to defeat him! Just a little more!'

Kaito on the other hand, is a little better but the power of OFA is starting to overwhelm him as the output increases.

'Clashing hand naked might have not been the smartest move, but I have to finish this or Midoriya will break his arm again.'

Kaito softened his right arm and let Midoriya win the clash, the problem was that he slid his arm and avoided most of the damage. Midoriya's punch generated an air cannon that took some trees.

In that instant, the very instant the attack ended, Kaito used his left arm and delivered the attack right to Midoriya's gut. It was to fast for the greenette to dodge.

'I guess I lost again, but I'm glad that I am getting stronger, I'll win next time…Kaito.'

Midoriya closes his eyes and waits for the punch, but the punch never came.

"How about we leave it here?" Kaito asked Midoriya.

"Your arm is extremely sore but with the correct treatment it will be ok for Monday."

"Haha, I lost. Thank you Kaito."

"Thanks for being casual. Now, how about we dive ourselves in some junk food."

"That would be nice, but I prefer something a little healthier."

"Fine, fine, my moms cooking is the best, she will give you whatever you want and I will fill my belly with the rest, how about that?"

"Let's go, we have to prepare for the internships anyway."

[Train Station]

It was the day and the internships were about to start, Aizawa was bidding his farewell to his students.

"Everyone has their costumes, right? Remember, you don't have permission to wear them out in public yet, and don't lose them or anything." Aizawa.

"Gotcha!" Mina.

"Answer properly."

"Yes, sir."

"Make sure you mind your manners with the other heroes during your internships. Now get to it."

"Well guys, I only have one thing to say: Don't miss me too much." Kaito says with a goofy face.

"Fuck off!"

"Kobayashi, hurry or you'll be late."

"Going, going."

"Everyone! Do your best!" Kaito said as he was leaving with Todoroki.

Everyone else nodded and went to their internships.

'Time to see what the #2 is all about.' Kaito though with a grin in his face.
