The smoke of gunfire dissipated.
"Who helped us block the damage of the ray just now?" Victor looked at the sky, feigning puzzlement.
"It should be Odin," Thor replied without hesitation.
In the sky, a loud humming sound followed.
"Quick, scatter!" Thor shouted urgently, knowing they couldn't afford to stay grouped together.
As everyone dispersed, a pillar of light descended from the spacecraft overhead.
The light seemed to carry down several figures.
Leading them was a hooded man with crimson pupils and grayish skin, exuding an aura of mystery. Most notably, he wielded a halberd that occasionally emitted an undead aura.
"I know him," Victor exclaimed. "He's the leader of the Obsidian Five Generals, General Deadblade."
The Obsidian Five were Thanos's formidable force, instrumental in his conquests across countless planets.
"He's one of Thanos's men," Thor confirmed, recalling stories Odin had told them about the tyrant.
"Gods of Asgard, what brings you here from afar?" General Deadblade asked hoarsely, a sly smile playing on his lips.
"Cut the talk, give us Loki," Thor demanded impatiently, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.
The general sighed, "Alas, your brother has already joined us."
"In that case, I'll retrieve Loki myself!" Thor declared, gripping Mjolnir tightly and soaring into the air, lightning crackling with each movement.
In mid-air, he descended with a thunderous impact, unleashing bolts of lightning towards General Deadblade!
Seeing this, General Deadblade swiftly gestured, summoning several pillars of light from the spacecraft below.
From them emerged armies of warriors.
"Here they come," Victor observed, retreating to the rear as he strategized his next move.
Meanwhile, Odin in the temple observed the unfolding battle.
"Victor, what surprises do you have in store this time..." Odin mused, watching intently, though he couldn't hear Victor's thoughts from this distance.

On the muddy battlefield, chaos reigned as Thor engaged General Deadblade, rallying the Asgardians and their allies against the Black Order's legions.
With the Asgardians bolstered by the Immortal Palace's Three Warriors and Sif, their combined might overwhelmed the Black Order's forces.
After a while, the Black Order realized they couldn't hold their ground.
"Retreat!" General Deadblade commanded, signaling his troops to fall back and regroup.
Turning to the spacecraft, he shouted, "Cull Obsidian!"
Instantly, the teleportation device activated for the third time, and massive figures materialized.
Descending from above were mechanical Zitari bugs, targeting the Asgardians!
"Not again!" Victor muttered, dodging their attacks swiftly in mid-air.
Without pause, several Zitari robots landed, immediately converging on Victor.
Fortunately, Victor's combat prowess was formidable, dispatching the robots swiftly.
Looking up at the spacecraft, Victor spotted the Zitari mothership looming large. If they could disable it, the battle would turn in their favor.
"Focus, Victor!" Van Dahl, having defeated an enemy, rushed over, concerned for Victor's safety.
"You go assist Thor; I'll handle the Zitari," Victor replied calmly, his eyes fixed on the approaching threat.
Asgardians were robust, and Victor was confident in his ability to handle a few Zitari alone.
"Stay safe," Van Dahl said before joining the fray against General Deadblade.
With a nod, Victor activated his Omega Rays and vanished into the battlefield.
---
Back at the temple, Odin was bewildered. "Where did he go?" In less than a minute, Victor had disappeared from his sight.
"How did he manage that?" Odin wondered aloud, unable to extend his vision beyond the realms, yet still curious about Victor's strategy.
Simultaneously, Victor reappeared aboard the Zitari mothership.
The mothership was critical to the Zitari's operations; disabling it would cripple their forces entirely.
Victor's plan was clear: target the mothership with his Omega Rays.
Concentrating energy into his eyes, Victor unleashed a scarlet ray that pierced through the mothership, crippling its systems.
Within moments, the once-mighty mothership lay motionless, parts falling off as it succumbed to Victor's assault.
Sensing trouble above, General Deadblade intensified his efforts against Thor and the others.
Looking up at the disabled mothership, Thor smirked, "Looks like your allies are in trouble."
Though uncertain of the cause, Thor welcomed any advantage against their formidable foes.
