Reborn As A Marine Fodder

Jeffery led a sad life, he had no drive, no goals, no ambitions, he was just waiting for it all to end, and one day his wish came true. After being hit by a truck, Jeffery found himself in another world, one he was familiar yet unfamiliar with. "....Am I in One Piece? But why am I a fodder Marine!" --------------------------------------------- Don't ask me about harem/no harem, I'll see how the story progresses and decide at the appropriate time. (even though that shouldn't really be relevant anyway unless the focus on this was R18 or romance which its not) Along with the last point no R18 there are enough fanfics with that shit, and frankly y'all can just usethe actual sites you bunch of degenerates. This isn't too serious read it if you want, no one's forcing you too so don't come raging at me if its not to your tastes, but I always welcome a negative review as long as its constructive. Lastly I obviously don't own the cover, or One Piece or any other franchises or works of fiction that may appear in this fanfic. That is all.

Chapter 14 Secret Operations

Opening the door Rak immediately found himself faced with 4 people who were currently discussing something. Unfortunately Rak couldn't hear what they were talking about. "YOU! What are you doing here!?" One of them shouted as they rushed Rak.

"Thud!"

He tackled Rak to the floor attempting to restrain him. "I-I was looking for the bathroom." Rak muttered pretending to be hurt. Hearing this the man got while keeping his foot on Rak's back. "What do we do with this idiot?"

"Are we sure he didn't hear what we were talking about?" Another person in a red shirt said. "Either way, I say we take him in. Didn't we need someone around his stature anyway." The man who tackled Rak sneered.

After this short conversation the man grabbed Rak by the leg and dragged him into the room. "W-What are you doing with me!?" Rak asked wearily. "Heh, you can only blame yourself for your own stupidity." The man said.

He then dragged Rak's body for some distance before opening another door. "You 3 make sure no other idiots come down here." He warned the others before entering the next room. Immediately Rak smelt something extremely putrid.

It was similar yet different to the stench he had smelled in Grip's favourite spot. 'What are they doing here?' Rak thought in confusion as his eyes darted around the room. While he couldn't see much from the angle his head was at, he could see enough.

There were hospital beds lined up everywhere, seemingly unconscious people laying on them, but that wasn't what caught Rak's attention. Rather it was that large holes in some of those people. "You better not throw up here, or I'll make sure your last moments are full of nothing but pain." The man who was dragging Rak warned him.

Frankly Rak wanted to get away at this very moment, but he stopped himself from doing so. 'For the mission.' He thought as he got dragged to the end of the room. The man then lifted him up and threw him onto a bed.

"What do we have here?" A doctor-like man asked. "This imbecile came into the Staff Only room." The man replied. "How unfortunate, well for him that is. For me the more idiots there are the better." The doctor smiled as he locked eyes with Rak.

'Ugly is an understatement.' Rak thought as the doctor reached for his arms. Now Rak had a better view of the room. Currently apart from the doctor and the man, there were maybe 5 other people in the room, non-combatants as far as Rak could tell.

'There's also another door over there, I can continue through there until I find Gold Tooth.' Rak thought. "Well now that I've delivered him I'll head back." The man said before departing from the room.

Just as the man left, the doctor placed Rak's arms to the sides of the bed, specifically over what Rak assumed were metal bondages. "Now to secure them, and we'll begin." The doctor laughed.

"Click."

The door to the room closed, and in that instant Rak moved. Rak got up from the bed before grabbing the doctor by the neck. Immediately everyone within the room was alarmed. "If you all make a sound, this man dies, and then all of you will follow him." Rak declared lifting the man off the ground.

Immediately they knew they had been tricked. "Seems you people are smart, I like smart people. First, lock that door, and don't try anything funny, those 4 outside won't save you, it will just force me to kill you." Rak warned as he walked towards the door.

"The man you're holding has the key." One of them spoke up, hoping to be as useful as possible to increase his chances of surviving. "Oh, hand me the key." Rak said as he locked eyes with the doctor. Currently the doctor was almost choking to death so Rak loosened his grip somewhat. "H-Here, just insert it in the hole and twist it clockwise thrice just don't kill me." The doctor pleaded while handing Rak a key.

Rak then locked the door before trying to open it. 'Seems they were telling the truth.' Rak thought before pointing at someone who had a build similar to his. "Strip, I'll need your clothes." Rak demanded, a few seconds later the man was almost completely naked, while Rak had a new set of clothes.

Fortunately it seemed as though the clothes fit Rak quite well. "So what's beyond that door?" Rak asked, as he got ready to leave the room. "There's a secret exit out of the building." The man who had told Rak about the key spoke up once more.

"And where's Gold Tooth staying in relation to that exit?" Rak continued his questioning. "There's a staircase within the pathway that leads right to his room." The man replied once again trying to save his own skin.

The other people were getting annoyed now. Why hadn't they volunteered the information as quickly as this guy? Luckily for them it seemed as though Rak wasn't the type to just kill everyone.

Hearing this Rak then devised a plan. "Okay all of you gather in that corner." Rak direct them. He then walked towards them before tossing the doctor at them. While they caught the doctor Rak swiftly moved, punching all of them on the head apart from one of them. Naturally this was the guy giving Rak all the information.

"...Are they dead?" The man asked in shock. "No clue but probably, if they survived that I'd be surprised." Rak replied, he had no sympathy for these people. Their job was literally harvesting unwitting people's organs.

"Now, unless you want to end up like them I suggest you show me the way." Rak smiled, the man now knew for sure there was no way to escape. 'He moved faster than my eyes could even see.' The man thought in fear before leading Rak out of organ harvesting room, and towards the secret exit.
