Pillar Of Support?

As they sat in silence Tearia stared at each fight a little listlessly as she held her arm while she slowly stopped caring about the pain even though it was getting worse but she didn't care anymore. "I guess I didn't really win did I?" Thinking back to that she tried to think of any way she could have handled that situation better but nothing came to mind even now except not getting close to him but that was just pointless what if's to her. "I want to...fight." However at this point she wasn't sure she could anymore.

"Dear, please."

Communicating with his wife Eli gave up trying to silently ask her as he tried again with little to no hope. His wife knew way more about injuries and the like then him so she knew how serious this could be or couldn't be unlike him.

"No she really shouldn't fight, it's dangerous."

"But can't you do something."

"....No."

Hearing the pause in her words as her voice trailed off Eli knew she was hiding something from him. "So there is something." Yet he knew why she was keeping that information from him. Most likely whatever it was was only a temporary fix that could result in even worse consequences in the long run and with how much he knew she cared about Tearia he knew it was unlikely she wanted that. Even he agreed with that a bit. "But..." Thinking that he sighed as he gave up and turned back to Tearia just to get a scare of his lifetime along with his wife.

"Xilo..Xilo..."

""Tearia?"

Staring at their Granddaughter as some of her hair fell in front of her face they watched as her eyes started to turn slightly blank while she lost concentration and started to mumble silent words. It was eerily similar to the first time they had seen her awake after the accident but a lot less worse from the looks of it. "Well maybe this is to be expected." This whole tournament was meant for her to prove herself so while she might not have cared about losing a fight in the end she still wanted to do her best probably. However she was now most likely going to be forced to quit and that was probably heart breaking to her. Looking at her Granddaughter she also thought something similar to her husband.

"So she cared this much...." Looking at Tearia becoming slightly unstable she wasn't too surprised by the situation but she would be lying if she said she wasn't a little surprised. "Her pillar of support is starting to show cracks after all and when that happens..Ha....I really don't want to but." Trying to think of any other way to help this situation out, nothing came to mind as she finally gave up and sat down beside tearia as she began to gently rub her back and get her attention.

"Tearia?"

"Nnnnm."

With a slight grunt that's all she got in acknowledgement but that was fine. It was all she needed.

"What do you want to do? Think about it long and hard before you answer me okay?"

Saying that she grabbed tearia and sat there in silence as she hugged her Granddaughter already knowing the answer while Eli watched from the side slightly strained knowing where this was probably going. In the end though it was Tearia's choice and her life not theirs. "If only this was that damn city." If it she had all the supplies and tools this wouldn't be happening right now but then again if they were still there Tearia probably wouldn't be alive nor them.

With a few more minutes of silence passing the fights were all starting to end except a few odd ones and as time ticked on Tearia slightly mumbled a couple words that were clearly heard by her Grandparents that elicited a sigh of defeat from both of them.

"I want to..fight."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Ha..well then you can do just that, I can help fix your arm if you want."

Saying that Tearia's eyes slowly became more clear as she turned to her grandmother while she was in her arms as the cracks in her pillar slowly started to heal.

"Really?"

"Indeed but I must warn you about something and after I tell you I want you to rethink it once more. This isn't a light decision to make for the both of us so I hope you can understand and at least do me that."

"I understand."

"Alright, I can give you some medicine that will help you move your arm and lessen the pain completel-

"Really?"

"BUT this is temporary and most likely will leave you with permanent damage causing your arm to never be the same as today again or you can stop now and I can slowly treat your arm making it as good as new..... So what's your answer."

Hearing that Tearia paused for a couple seconds to think about it before she decided her answer.

"I'll take the medicine now."

"I see...."

Sighing she took a small vial out of her pocket that she kept on her always just in case as she swished around the red liquid staring at it before she handed it to Tearia with mixed feelings. "I hope you don't regret this." With that she watched as the vial disappeared from her hands and into tearia's as she stared at it with anticipation. "Good luck." These next few fights were probably going to deicide Tearia's fate for the rest of her life so all she could do was wish her the best. Even if she only had one arm basically after maybe one day it could eventually be fixed but that was unlikely at the moment unfortunately. "Just never regret today's situation." Thinking that she watched as the red liquid slowly slid into Tearia's mouth without hesitation as the fights began to end and the start of the second round preparations was beginning.
