In The Distance.

Watching Tearia drink that red liquid Eli was a little shocked to see she still had some of those vials. " That liquid should be Curel's blood if I'm not mistaken." It was a type of bird found very rarely in the world that almost looked like it was made of ice with red lines going throughout its body that were actually it's blood. "Wait, isn't that stuff supposed...." Getting there in his thoughts he remembered it's purpose while he finally realized why his wife was so against it. Curel's blood was a type of poison for weaker individuals essentially. it would constantly heal and break the arm over longer periods of time before eventually going back to normal. Most of the time people used it in bad situations for its relatively quick healing effect during them but weaker individuals couldn't use it. "The energy it contains is simply too much." It'll just go on an endless cycle of destroying and repairing over and over until it eventually runs dry but with weaker Astral Energy and body strength the part healing would eventually just be completely destroyed, not able to keep up in most cases. With a slight gulp he tried to steady his breathing as he watched the last drop disappear as he felt a tinge of regret wash over him but it was too late to do anything about it.

"Good now just direct that energy into your arm and make sure it stays there until it soaks in. It'll do the rest on it's own."

"Alright."

Listening to her Grandmother's words she carefully guided the energy to her arm and waited to feel something. She knew whatever this medicine was doing wasn't going to be good for her in the long run but she didn't care until she felt a giant jolt of pain run through her arm that almost caused her to scream out loud before it quickly disappeared replaced with a soothing feeling as her arm quickly started to feel good as new.

"that hurt...."

"Sorry I figured it would be better if I didn't say anything about that."

"It's okay just took me by surprise that's all but my arm seems to be better now."

Waving and moving her arm back and forth Tearia felt it was just like before as a small smile returned to her face.

"It should stay like that for most of the day. If you start to feel that pain again let me know though."

Wincing a little as she stared at her Granddaughters smile she held back the urge to cry as she watched herself essentially cripple one of her Granddaughter's daughters arms. "What's done is done and she made this choice. Maybe she'll be lucky enough one day to be able to fix it." At the very least she was willing to accept Tearia's hate if she ever regretted her decision. "After all I'm still just as much to blame since I encouraged this." Relaxing her body slightly she was about to say something again before the Stamp on Tearia's arm lit up once more signaling it was time for another fight.

"Go on."

"Thanks."

With that they both watched her walk off as she collapsed onto the bench feeling a little tired along with Eli. Sitting in silence she eventually spoke up as she rested against him.

"Did I make the right choice?"

"I don't know...I don't think that's up for us to decide in the end.

"But that feels like I'm running away from the responsibility of it."

"Maybe it is but If Tearia is okay with it then we can only watch and guide."

"I guess....What about that other girl?"

"We'll try and do something."

Walking up the stage Tearia made sure her arm was fine every minute before entering the stage. She knew it wouldn't last forever so at the very least she would have to make the most of the time she had. "Never be the same again eh?" Thinking about what her Grandmother said maybe she was a little too quick to do it in the moment but she didn't regret it. "Now who will I be fighting..." With that thought in mind she watched as a young boy with his face covered in blonde hair and dragon scales walked into the arena. "So it's this boy then. The Reldir clan." She remembered seeing him before and making note of him due to his use of the Earth Element.

"Well this is going to be a pain...." Out of all the fights she thought she could win this one was probably the one she had the least faith in. "I have to try though." Shaking away all the negative thoughts that were surfacing in her mind. She knew she couldn't back out of this as she resolved herself to try her best and stopped hesitating facing the small boy.

"Hello."

Surprised it took her a second to react. She wasn't used to being greeted so politely before a match started. Most taunted and scoffed or just didn't say anything.

"Hi."

"Allow me to introduce myself I'm Felix and who may you be?"

Hearing his voice she was surprised how childlike it sounded as she wondered how he seemed so strong while seeming so young as well.

"You can just call me Tearia."

"Very well Tearia, I hope we both have a pleasant fight."

Still a little taken aback by such politeness she didn't know what to say as they stood there in silence before the shouts of the Referee's entered their ears. While Xilo's group walked along in silence before they eventually stumbled upon something.

"Stay still."

Signaling to the girls who were silently following him Xilo concentrated as he spread his Astral Energy out trying to find what he thought he sensed in the distance. He just needed a better look. "Hopefully it's people, we've been searching for hours." As he spread his energy out he condensed it until it finally reached his destination.

"So that's what It is."
