An Ability To Create

"Let's find out together shall we."

Dusting himself off he snapped his fingers as black flames corroded her light beams until they were destroyed. Light vanished into the air replaced by a circle of flames that combined into a large arrow. Aiming right for the Queen's heart Keltal casually flicked his hand and sent it flying. Guiding it's path Keltal waited until it was close enough before causing it to explode on its own. Bursting into small flames they scattered around the Queen's feet giving her less room to move. Unless she destroyed those flames they would never go out thanks to his newly returned power.

"Tch."

Clicking her tongue the Queen looked at her surroundings with a bit of frustration creeping up. "This wasn't in my predictions." She knew she could beat anyone in normal circumstances however Keltal turned into an exception. "How did he hide such power for so long." Even if someone was appearing weaker than normal they usually had signs that could be read like some pressure or even the way they acted. Keltal hadn't shown any signs like that for her whole life knowing him. "He hide his power beneath my nose for almost a hundred years." The will power and strength it took to do that was insane. "The question now is how do I kill him?" looking down at her finger she saw her ring faintly glowing as she thought about it.

"I haven't used this in a while..."

A staff made of pure white snow appeared in her hand as she summoned the weapon granted to her from her ring. Swirling it around she used some of its power as a catalyst to spawn a circle in the air. The air grew deathly cold as beams spawned in the air connecting into a circle. Once they connected she gave it some power as it began charging. Splitting her focus after that she activated something else. The ability that was given to her, it was something she used a lot when she was younger with Aeon, it always worked quite well on him. "It let me see him even when he appeared invisible to the world." That was just a side effect of its main use though. It's main purpose was controlling Astral Energy in the air regardless if it was hers or not, which also allowed her to spot Aeon since his ability was based on Astral Energy.

Sucking up the flames around her she didn't destroy them as she added them to the glowing circle above her instead. As well as all the energy from the dead people in this room. Multiple strands of energy travelled towards it as it hummed to life. This was also the reason she could control all that energy she had stolen and use it on the cannon. In front of her, Astral Energy practically belonged to only her and no one else. To keep it up though required a large amount of energy that she needed from the bodies as well, so she made sure to split them into two seperate lines. "This technique requires a massive amount of power and time." It was a technique she had stolen long ago with Aeon at her side. If she was able to pull this off she could kill Keltal even at full power.

*Hnnnnnnnnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm*

Watching his flames disappear into a void of light Keltal raised an eyebrow in question. "I'll just burn it from within then." Turning up the heat he tried to destroy it from the inside. No matter how many times he tried, the flames never responded to him again. He had lost full connection to them as the chain between them broke into pieces replaced by nothing. "She can disable my power.." Noting down that interaction he caused two swirling balls of black flame to spawn in his hand and chucked them at the Queen only to miss. Whatever she was doing, he couldn't let it finish. There was too much power being concentrated into one area, if he let that go off then he was in for some trouble.

"Hopefully the kids can handle the girl."

As he rushed forward he saw Xilo fighting against Felli before focusing on his own fight again. "He should be able to do it." From the display Xilo had shown him the past couple days Keltal had a lot of faith in the boy's strength now and his friends were there to help. Slamming into the Queen he felt himself come up against an invisible wall that completely stopped his movements. Smashing his fists into it he saw the Queen smiling as she watched his struggle. "She won't let me through." Even after a minute he didn't feel like he had done any damage to the barrier in front of him. Creating a giant sword of flames he didn't give up as he slashed his way in. "Surely it'll break now." He could feel sweat dripping down his body as the seals on his body started to strain him.

This was the first time he had used his power again since it had been sealed by Althea a hundred years ago. He had absolutely no idea how long it would last or the damage it would do to his body in return. "She said I could use it three times with some repercussions." Knowing Althea's character though, it would be some nasty punishment full of pain. He had still taken the gamble with that information in mind. "Is it already sealing itself again?" He could feel himself losing strength at a rapid rate which left him somewhat frightened. "I need more time...If only I could.." Getting into his own head as he slashed the barrier in front of him nonstop he remembered something. A power he had with him that had been sealed away with his strength.

"Could that work though?"

He honestly didn't know if it would or not but he had to take the shot.

Putting less strength in his attacks he tried to keep the Queen distracted from what he was about to do. If she was aware of it she might try and stop him early. "An imagination that creates objects...." When he was younger that was what his Mother had always told him. "Imagination can do anything." He had held those words close to his heart as he grew up. "Maybe that's why I thought Althea might like me at the time." That kind of overly imagination had failed him in the end. When he tried to fight Althea for the first time to prove himself to everyone he badly lost. "She broke my legs and arms while nearly killing me." He was only a little kid at that time that dreamed of greatness, wanting everything. Althea crushed all those hopes underneath her foot and tried to put him in his place.

"I kept dreaming though...and eventually."

Eventually an ability unique to him finally awakened giving him the strength he had always wanted.

"Thoughts can be power too, dreams, inspiration, hopes..."

Within a second a giant blade the size of the entire room appeared behind pointed right at the Queen.

Enjoy.
