A Thorn In His Side

Feeling such high power locked on to their bodies they all tried their best to dodge the Queen's attacks. Homing in on them they didn't relent in their chase regardless of where anyone ran. Noticing that, Xilo created an Ice shield to try and defend himself. "Persistent." Digging into his shield the large spear of white light started to hum as it blew up in his face blowing him back. Unable to control himself, he felt his body slam into the wall. Shock travelled along his body to his arms and legs as he hit the ground. "What was that attack?" That was his first time experiencing an attack like that. Pure white light that could track his movements with very strong power was a dangerous move to go against.

After taking a quick look around Xilo also realised he was probably some of the most well off in this scenario. He saw some people get their arms or legs blown off in an instant from being unable to defend themselves properly. One person even died instantly as their body had a giant hole blown in their stomach. Losing any signs of life the person dropped to the ground with a loud thud but most ignored it. They were all fighting for their own lifes, there was no time to be distracted. "This whole situation is messed up." Picking himself back up he ignored some of the pain in his arm as he checked on all his friends. "Looks like the twins helped out." Noticing some vines and dirt scattered everywhere, Xilo felt some relief.

"Light energy, so annoying." Dusting himself off after that attack Keltal looked at the swirling balls of light floating around the Queen. He knew exactly how powerful that energy could be and that's why he wasn't so sure he could win this fight. "Maybe I need to go all out..." If he did he could stand a chance against the Queen however that was far from a guarantee. "I'd also be powerless after...." Shaking his head he got rid of all those stupid thoughts as a pattern of demonic symbols began to glow around his neck in a violent red light. Now was the time to use his powers even if it cost him in the end. "No more playing around." Keltal was tired of holding back and if he stopped the world from remembering that was a plus.

"What are you trying to do, Keltal? Stop it right this instant!"

Noticing the light radiating off his body the Queen forgot everyone else as the balls around her body converged on him. He was the most dangerous person here and she couldn't let him do whatever he wanted. It was already too late though, with a flash of light the demonic symbols on his neck snapped into fragments that fell onto the floor and vanished. His hair grew a bit longer as it swapped from it's normal black lustre to a mix of silver and black. His ears grew sharper along his other features causing him to look a lot more sinister. He had completely lost that air of laziness that he always carried only to be replaced by an aura of darkness that dripped off his body. His eye colour swapped to a deep crimson red well the flames in his hands returned to their original form.

"Black flames...it's been a while since I've had the pleasure of seeing you. How long has it been since I've been like this now? Eighty years or was it a hundred? I've sort of missed it. Freedom does taste quite good, the air finally feels fresh just like back in the days with Althea."

"""Althea!?!?"

Multiple people blurted out the same name hearing Keltal bringing it up so suddenly."

"Yes and speaking of her it seems a part of her is even here now. Well not quite her but a part of her that I don't quite recognize."

Pointing at the Queen he grinned wickedly as he sensed a fragment of Althea attached to the Queen and even Felli's body. He had slightly sensed it before, with his full power now though he knew for sure it was her. "Though it doesn't seem quite the same." There was also no message from Althea which led him to thinking something was up. "Maybe someone is using her as a disguise, or...it's that nasty version of her." He remembered the Althea in his dreams all too well and if it was that one currently here then there that was a problem. Looking over his shoulder at Xilo, Keltal noticed another similar presence as his grin turned into a frown. "Another one...." He felt a little concerned with that knowledge but he didn't have the time to address it.

Twirling his sword in his hands in a circle he summoned black flames all around his body and appeared in front of the Queen's face. "If I kill this one it's a thorn out of my side." Overwhelmed by Keltal's sudden change, the Queen took a step back as the light around her body converged to protect her. Creating a shield it collided with Keltal's darkness before exploding itself. A massive explosion shook the room and everyone's ear drums while they fought. Ignoring the brunt of the damage, Keltal commanded the flames to trap the Queen in place. "You aren't going anywhere." His clock was ticking down every second, trapping her. He turned up the heat as he tried to burn her alive without hesitation.

Sweat fell down her body as more Light filled the left over space. "Black flames...such power....Althea." Thoughts swirled around in her mind as she caught a glimpse of her Daughter doing nothing. "Now's the time." Shouting as loud as she could, the Queen commanded Felli to start fighting. If Felli didn't help her she might actually be in serious trouble here. "I never expected this kind of power." Hearing the Queen's voice Felli looked up as she sighed. In a breath her body teleported inside the Queen's area and grabbed her hand as another breath started. Teleporting them both out Felli brought her Mother to safety before looking at the other people in the room.

"Good job."

Ignoring her mother's words Felli teleported forward once more as she appeared in front of one person. Standing over them she raised her sword and slashed down at them with no feelings inside. SHe was completely empty of all thought and emotions. In her mind only one thing stood strong, her Mother's words. Cutting their body into two people Felli killed the man standing under her as blood splashed to the ground. Before it could land on her clothing she teleported to another place in the room and did similar. One by one she started to pick everyone off as the Queen launched an attack at Keltal. Hundreds of light beams stuck in the ground around Keltal and blew up, rocking the room while she dodged every flame she could.

"An interesting power, I wonder how long it'll last Keltal."

She knew for a fact there was no way he could keep this up forever.

Enjoy.
