BREAKING NEWS: BODY FOUND IN MEGURO RIVER BELIEVED TO BE MISSING WOMAN

Senju dropped her morning coffee, glass shattering and dispersing around her apartment's tiny kitchen. It was as if time had frozen. She was on autopilot with only one thing on her mind, What the fuck did you do Haruchiyo? She didn't even know how she got to the parking lot of his penthouse building. Her vision had been blurring with tears the entire car ride over and it was a miracle she hadn't gotten into an accident. This isn't real. This can't be happening. She got into the elevator and fell to her knees, crumpling in on herself. He must've snapped. When Y/n rejected him or refused to talk, he must've snapped. He's a killer, but I mean did he really kill her? I'll kill him, I will, I will kill my brother. She rocked back and forth rubbing her face to feel something because she was numb. The elevator didn't make any stops on its way up to Haruchiyo's place. But when the doors opened, Senju couldn't get up or out of the elevator. She couldn't face the truth, or the grisly details. The doors began to close and she finally sprung up, hitting the door open button feverishly. The doors stalled, and opened back up. With three deep breaths Senju stepped out of the elevator and walked up to her brother's front door.

Senju's default was anger, like a tea kettle she'd bubble up until she burst. She had to spend many years suppressing her emotions, Akashi pressuring her too not be so emotional. She had been on the brink all morning and finally burst. She slammed her fists onto the front door, over and over and over. Punching it enough to rattle the framework. Her brother answered the door with sweatpants and only half of his shirt on. He slid the other arm into its sleeve and looked at his sister with eye-opening shock, "Senju what the fuck?! I thought you were the cops with the way you're banging!" Another burst. She punched Haruchiyo in the jaw, a strong right hook. He was caught off guard and stumbled on his footing. He reached up to rub his face, his hand came back with blood on it. His lip was split. Before he could completely recover, Senju pushed him further into the apartment and slammed the door shut behind her.

"YOU KILLED HER?! YOU FUCKING KILLED HER?!"

His confusion, ticked eyebrows, quickly softened and he actually grinned. He put his hands up in front of his body, "Now Senju you gotta calm down and listen to me." Another burst. Senju attacked with more fists, but her emotional turmoil was weakening her. It was impossible to hit him through the tears and again she fell to her knees. "How could you?! How could you? She's my best friend, and you loved her! You loved her! How could you?!" Haruchiyo was in a panic, he had no idea how to console his sister enough to actually talk to her. The bedroom door opened.

"Senju?" Y/n whispered and his sister looked up as if Y/n really was a ghost.

"Now don't be mad." Y/n assumed the same stance as Haruchiyo, hands up in surrender. Another burst. Senju sprang on her feet and ran across the living room. Landing a right hook across Y/n's face. Unlike Haru, Y/n had seen it coming and allowed her friend to hit her, bracing herself in the process.

~The morning before~

Y/n had woken up first, sitting up and stretching big. That's the best sleep I've gotten in years. She felt refreshed and ready to take on the day. She turned towards Haruchiyo, his hair covering his face and drool on the pillow. I wish I had my phone, haha, this would be a great picture. She laid down facing him, rubbing his eyes and taking the hair out of his vision. "Mhhhhhh," he groaned in his sleep and grabbed her quickly around the waist, pulling her into his chest, "five more minutes, okay?" he whispered groggily. His morning voice deeper and more raspy than usual. Despite what he said he opened his eyes and kissed Y/n's forehead. "When did you wake up?"

"Just now, sorry I couldn't leave you alone and let you sleep."

He gave her a look of confusion, and shook his head. "No, no, no. I get more time with you if I'm awake." he smiled softly. "Speaking of time together," Y/n whispered slowly, "what're we going to do Haru? I mean, how would we even make this work?"

He sat up quickly, upset, "What're you talking about? Make it work? I love you, you love me, it works." Y/n sat up too but with ease and rested on the headboard. "That's not what I meant." she got stern, "You kidnapped me Haruchiyo. Am I supposed to just go back home, go back to work, and pretend like I didn't vanish off the face of the Earth?"

He relaxed his body and reached out for her hands and smiled to himself. "Before I met you I truly believed no one would ever truly love me. Then I had you and I was terrified to let you in because I was so scared you would see the real me. I realized that the only time I am ever truly myself is when I am with you. I fucked it all up, I let those anxious, insecure demons eat me alive. I lost you and I knew that I could never love anyone as much as I love you. I kept relying on pills and boozes and parties to fill up the void and shut out all my pain. I'll always want you, I'll always need you, I'll always love you. I am so sorry I took you.

I still don't really classify it as kidnapping," he let out a low belly laugh, "but I am sorry. I was so possessive when we were younger. I used to just want to lock you in my room and never let you out. I just had to have you back Y/n. I'll slow down, alright? I'll take my prescription the way I'm supposed to but honestly the shit I see. The shit I have to do. Sometimes the only way to get through it is high." He wiped his face down and recollected his thoughts to make sure he said everything he wanted to.

"But I need you to know that when I'm with you, now, now that I've learned from my fucking mistakes. I don't need the pills, the boozes. My anxiety and fears are gone when I'm with you. All those weekends, when we would just sit in my room, seventy-two hours all by ourselves, nothing to distract us or pull us apart. I was truly at peace then, and I'm at peace now. You're my heaven." Y/n had begun tearing up and before she could say anything, Haru grabbed her face and kissed her hard. Foreheads pressing, he slightly raised off of her lips looking deeply into her eyes, "Y/n, I would die for you. So for us to make this work, I need you to die for me."

~The next morning~

Y/n and Haruchiyo sat on the couch, ice-packs on their already swollen jaws, explaining to Senju that they had faked Y/n's death. "I'm so sorry we didn't tell you sooner. It's not right that you had to see that on the news, and live through it like it was true." Y/n sincerely pleaded with her friends, wanting her to accept the apology. "Is this really what you want Y/n?" Senju sat directly in front of her friend and had been ignoring her brother. He took away Y/n's phone so even if she wanted to tell me she couldn't have.

"Yeah, this is really what I want." she looked over at the man beside her and smiled. "He's a nut job, but I love him." she got straight faced when she looked back at Senju, "I've always loved him, despite everything. I never blamed him for his addiction, he's taken responsibility for his mistakes, and he regrets plenty of the decisions he's made in his life. I think fate brought all of us together." Haruchiyo leaned over to kiss Y/n's cheek, a big loud plop when he pulled off of her. "Ew." Senju commented with a smile on her face.

"So what's next?" she looked at her brother, "You going to keep the princess locked away in the tower forever?"

He chuckled, "No, I'm not. We'll wait for the media coverage to cool down first and then we should be good. I shook some hands and the death is getting filed as suicide. For the most part Bonten flies under the radar and it'll be hard for anyone who isn't in our inner circle to realize she's still alive. So you coming to our wedding?"

"Wedding?!" Senju and Y/n cried out at the same time.

Haruchiyo grabbed Y/n's face in his hand and planted a soft kiss on her lips and smirked.

"Absolutely."

After a couple more hours of talking and laughing, Senju had to leave the couple to go to her shop to check on her staff and count inventory. Once the front door was closed behind her, Y/n fell to the couch, "Well, that went much smoother than I expected."

"She punched us both in the face."

"Exactly, much smoother than expected." She winked at him while he made his way to the bedroom. "Come in here." he whined to her, and she got up, rolling her eyes sarcastically. "You're so clingy." When she got in their now shared bedroom, she noticed he was getting dressed. His usual white button up, suit vest, dress pants, nice leather shoes. He had it all laid out on the messy bed, and went back into the closet. He came out with a large pistol in his hands, checking the magazine to see if he needed to add any bullets. He looked up, those blue eyes made him look innocent. He withdrew eye contact and sighed, "I gotta do a job tonight doll face." He radiated disappointment.

"A job?" she looked back at the gun he was now placing next to his wardrobe. "Yes, a job. We found three guys that're slipping information about us to media outlets."

Y/n just nodded, "So you have to bring down Bonten's hammer of judgement, huh?" The sarcasm dripping from her lips. Sanzu's eyes perked up and he smiled big, "I like that, I'm going to use that." Y/n rolled her eyes but smiled stepping towards the bed to sit down on its edge. His smile faded, "You're not upset right?"

"No," she said and looked up at him, "I told you this is what I want. I want you, so this," she motioned towards the gun, "is just part of the territory. As much as I'd love to roll around in bed with you for the rest of the day, you have to work. This is your job."

Haruchiyo nodded, but looked uneasy. He rubbed the back of his neck and rocked on his feet. "Like I said Y/n it's three guys and I gotta clear my head before I do this. I can't be soft, I can't be thinking about you, or I might start feeling sympathetic or some shit."

Y/n cut off the rant he was going to go on, "So you're going to get high? Before you do it, you're going to pop something?" she raised a brow but her face didn't hold any disgust. It calmed his nerves.

"Yeah, I am." he started fidgeting with the clothes on the bed, "If you don't want me to come home after, if you don't want me to be around like that then I can go to Rindou's place."

Y/n got up and walked over to him, running her hands up his chest.

Her fingers met, interlocking behind his neck. She pulled him down to kiss him, "You can come home." she gave him another kiss, "Just don't wake me up if I'm already asleep."

He smirked into her lips and arched a brow, "I can't promise that."

While Y/n was falling asleep, Haruchiyo was dropping a capsuled pill into his mouth. The three traitors were bound and gagged, surrounded by Bonten's executives in a warehouse on Tokyo Bay.

This is gunna pick me right up, I'm definitely waking her up when I get home. He swallowed the pill, what was the shit she said earlier? Oh yeah,

"BRING DOWN BONTEN'S HAMMER OF JUDGEMENT ON THE TRAITORS!"
