Chapter 10 - Weapon P-1

"Okay, let's do this," she said with her new determination.

She closed her eyes, focusing on the power within her. Her right hand glowed red with destructive energy, while her left hand glowed blue with the gentle energy of creation.

With a swift motion, she sliced through her hair, cutting it to her preferred length. The severed hair floated in the air, shimmering with a magical glow.

She used the power of destruction to slice her long hair. She grabbed the cut hair in her hand like holding a thick rope.

But then she paused, her eyes showing confusion. What should she create with this hair, which had absorbed the magical energy of a hundred years in the void? She tapped her chin with her other hand, lost in deep thought.

"Phew..., a weapon? Isn't a weapon the right choice right now?" the Orb suggested.

Ravenna chuckled, acting like she had known it all along. "I knew, I knew it," she said, smiling.

"Hmmm...," she pondered. "But what weapon?"

"Yes... Yes... a sword," she finally decided. "It would be perfect."

Hearing this, the Orb laughed, the sound clearly coming from it. "Really?" the Orb asked, the tone filled with amusement.

"Do you even know how to swing a sword?" the Orb continued. "What would happen if my little princess sprains her hand with just one swing?"

Ravenna's face showed a mix of determination and uncertainty. "Do you even know how to wield a sword?" the Orb teased.

Ravenna's face showed that she accepted the fact that she didn't know how to fight with a sword, so it would be a waste of the magical hair to create one.

"Hmmm...."

"Hmm..."

After much thinking about what her first weapon should be, Ravenna realized she needed to let go of her innocent personality and understand the essence of her power.

"Let it go..." Ravenna whispered to herself. "Let it go..."

She understood that this task was given by the Orb to help her grasp her own power of the first seal.

In the endless dimension, it had happened without her control or intention, driven by a desperate moment to break the trap.

But a power you can't control - would that even be called power, or just luck?

"Ravenna, do you understand now?" the Orb asked, its tone serious and judging. "You need to think, you need to understand the power you don't know how to wield."

"What will you do with such power?" the Orb continued. "Power is nothing without intelligence."

The Orb explained further, "Power without intelligence is emptiness. If you don't understand what you're capable of, you'll never achieve great things, not even your goals."

"I am just the consciousness of the first queen," the Orb said. "I am here only to give you trials to unlock your seals."

"The rest is up to you," the Orb went on. "My journey with you is not as a master and disciple."

"But as a judge, I will judge you based on the trials I give you from now on," the Orb said firmly. "And if you fail, I have the power to take away your power."

Ravenna took a deep breath, letting the Orb's words sink in.

Her eyes, which had looked innocent and unsure, now showed a spark of determination.

She understood that this was about more than just wielding a weapon; it was about mastering herself and her abilities.

Now, with a calm and thoughtful expression, she let her mind wander over the possibilities. Her hair, filled with magical energy from the void, was a resource she could shape into something powerful and useful.

"Okay, let's do this," she said with a new sense of purpose. She began to weave the strands of her hair together, focusing on what she wanted to create.

Ravenna understood the hidden meaning behind the Orb's question - to create a weapon suited for her.

The Orb's mention of creating a weapon was a test of her intelligence. Though Ravenna's actions didn't outwardly show her intelligence, her mind had developed beyond the common sense of any normal human during her struggle to escape from the endless dimension.

Her mind had grown beyond normal understanding. But why did she ask such a silly question about creating a sword when she didn't even know how to wield one? Her true aptitude lay in magic, just like the first queen who was a powerful witch.

Ravenna had inherited witchcraft, not swordsman skills.

Deep inside, Ravenna had another motive. She wanted to test the Orb - to see its reaction and understand its true purpose.

She wanted to be sure if the Orb was guiding her down the right path or leading her astray. She needed to know if the Orb truly cared about her and her kingdom.

The Orb watched her closely, sensing the layers of thought behind her actions.

"Ravenna," the Orb began, its tone softer now, "I see you have much more depth than you let on."

Ravenna smiled slightly, her eyes still filled with determination. "I had to be sure," she said, her voice steady. "I needed to know if you were really here to help me."

"And what did you find?" the Orb asked, a hint of curiosity in its voice.

"I found that your guidance is meant to push me," Ravenna replied. "To challenge me. And that's exactly what I need."
