Ravenna snapped out from the endless dimensional trap, her eyes blinking against the light after who knows how many years.
Time flowed differently in that strange world. She had spent what felt like a hundred years there, changing her body and personality.
In that empty, dark world, only a faint light from a mysterious orb had kept her company. Her mind was a mess, and now she was also suspicious of her family.
There was a storm in her mind. She didn't know what to do next. She had just unlocked one of her seals of power. Despite this, her resolve wasn't broken. She was determined to find a reason for her living.
She realized it wasn't a curse but a gift. Even with so many challenges, she still had a bit of resolve in her heart.
But it felt like a building standing on a marshland, which could crumble at any time with just a throw of a stone.
Her foundation of resolve was weak and needed to be strong like a mountain.
Ravenna felt like a ship in a stormy sea, tossed around with no clear direction. Yet, she knew she had to anchor herself, find solid ground, and build her strength from there.
"Do not worry, my child, you will sail your ship in the storm," said the Orb.
"Yeah... I don't know what to do," Ravenna replied, sitting down and resting her chin in her hands.
Her eyes looked lost, filled with disappointment. They had no clear purpose, like a cloudy day without the sun. She sighed and breathed out slowly.
"There are lots of things to do, my child, so many things," the Orb said.
"Don't you want to find out what's causing this inner turmoil?" the Orb asked. "Or are you just going to give up after spending 100 years and 10 months in the void?"
"What!" Ravenna exclaimed, utterly shocked. Her eyes widened with disbelief. She had spent exactly that long in the endless dimension, a dark world where there was nothing but her and the faint light that kept her company.
The Orb chuckled. "Yes, exactly. A person who lived for 100 years and 10 months and still didn't learn anything? And now, sitting here, trying to give up?"
"What should we call her?" The Orb's tone was sarcastic.
Ravenna relaxed her mind, taking a deep breath in and out. Living for so long had changed her.
She was shocked but quickly calmed down. Her hair, once short and neat, had grown long and wild, flowing like a river. Her physique was stronger, shaped by the endless challenges in the void.
Her eyes, though often tired, held a new depth, reflecting the countless days and nights she had endured.
Despite the turmoil, she felt a flicker of resolve within her, like a candle in the dark. She knew she had to keep going, to find her purpose and strength.
"Ah!" She exclaimed.
As her gaze shifted to her back, she looked at her hair. It was so long.
Her hair flowed on the ground like a long, shiny river. It was platinum in color, gleaming brightly when the sun's rays touched it.
She sat on a rock, her chin resting in her hands. Behind her, her hair spread out, covering the ground like a shimmering stream.
It looked like a sea of platinum threads, glowing and moving softly in the light. The sight was mesmerizing, with her hair creating a beautiful and calm image, even though she felt so mixed up inside.
"What! What will I do with this?" Ravenna said, her voice rising in panic.
"I can't even walk with hair that's like a river," she continued, pacing back and forth. Her hair stayed mostly on the ground, only a small part on her head swaying with her movements.
"Oh gosh! I was so wrong. There isn't an ounce of personality change in you," the Orb said in a sarcastic tone.
"What do you mean? I'm normal! What would a normal person do in this situation?" Ravenna asked, waving her hands in the air. Her eyes looked innocent, almost pleading for an answer.
"My, my. A normal person? Really? A normal person?" the Orb replied, dripping with sarcasm.
"Come on, for the sake of the First Queen," the Orb sighed.
"How are you a normal person now? A person who has the power of destruction and creation still calls herself normal? Really... normal..." the Orb said slowly, pausing to emphasize each word and syllable, almost dragging out the sentence to make its point clear.
Ravenna's frustration and confusion were obvious as she tried to process everything.
She sat down on a rock, putting her hands on her chin, looking at her hair that seemed to cover the land like a stream of platinum.
"For... " Orb sighed, "First... Queen... Sake," Orb emphasized each word slowly.
"Why are you sitting there and still thinking about what to do?" Orb questioned, floating around her.
"You can use your power to really destroy the extra hair, and with creation, you can make something new from it," Orb suggested with a hint of impatience.
"Isn't this that simple?" Orb added, almost mocking her hesitation.
Ravenna blinked, her eyes widening with a sudden realization.
"Ahh!" she exclaimed, her face lighting up with an innocent look of surprise. "Of course, why didn't I think of that?"
Her eyes sparkled as she looked down at her long, flowing hair. It had grown so long in the endless dimension, absorbing the void's energy and becoming extraordinary and filled with magical powers.
She reached out, touching her hair gently, feeling the strange power it held.
